Like Teck Cominco, the Royal Bank, Imperial Tobacco, the purpose is to make money. The reason they call it Main Stream Media is because it is where most people get their news. The media outlet makes money according to the number of consumers it reaches for its advertisers. The traditional way to keep people reading / watching is to strive to publish acurrate information by fact checking and corroborating. If there is a loss of credibility, there will be a loss of advertising dollars. The publication will have bias, but it is displayed openly on the editorial page. The Globe and Mail and the National Post are Conservative, the Star and the Edmonton Journal is Liberal. The Daily Worker is nuts.

A mainstream paper or station will separate the opinion pages from the news pages. That is not to say they don't make mistakes but they hate mistakes because that costs money. If a journalist is BFF with a politician and discovers a scandal, they know if they don't cover it, a dozen others will.

The "arson hoax" claim is good for the media. Just when a story is fading, the forces of Justice step in and make an arrest to resurrect the story. Professional experienced journalists don't care about promoting a political agenda. They need a story and when someone says something that will draw attention, they cover it because that makes their editors happy, because that makes the shareholders and advertisers happy. When a politician of any stripe tries to evade, prevaricate, or outright lie, the professional journalist will call them out.

In the US, the media loved President Trump. He saved the New York Times from bankruptcy, because he was good for a headline every day. In Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau's news value deminished pretty quickly after the election until he went to visit the Aga Khan and then dropped in on India. No sooner than that faded and the SNC scandal reared its money making head. For the first couple of years of his term, Prime Minister Trudeau was the gift that kept on giving for the share holders and advertisers in the MSM.

All fine and good but explain why these "mistakes" always seem to go one way for certain networks. 

There is definitely agenda based journalism going on and a major deterioration into tabloid level nonsense. We saw that with "Russia collusion" bs and we see that here with the arson hoax. 

The funny part is when the press play the victim card. They sling mud and then cry because some people were mean to them.

Another question is why are people gullible enough to buy into these hoaxes? The Smollett stuff was a prime example. On its face the story was suspect.. two guys running around one of the most liberal cities in America in -40 degree celcius with a noose wearing MAGA hats looking for some black guy to mug for his subway sandwich... yeah ok.

Your facts are wrong though.  None of the studies showed the vaccines caused 45,000 injuries or 1200 deaths.  IIRC, the study you referenced included hanta-virus as some of those recorded "injuries", which clearly demonstrates that the numbers you were quoting were the injuries and adverse affects that people had recorded from any causes whatsoever after they got a COVID-19 vaccine, rather than the injuries that COVID-19 caused.  

Goddess, are you trying to tell us that the Pfizer vaccine caused hantavirus?

Which begs the question:  What are they inserting into and deleting from your genes and chromosomes with the shots?

This is 100% experiments on humans, something Fauci has lamented publicly for many years that he was previously unable to do.  How sad for all the mad scientists of the world! Until covid conveniently came along, released from the bio lab he was funding and VOILA!  Human experimentation is now possible!  Without the 10 year wait and all those pesky and time-taking animal trials and safety and efficacy studies!  And not just possible - but people like you are begging to be lab rats!  AND him and all his Big Pharma friends make millions in the process! AND none of them can be held responsible for any deaths and injuries incurred.

I was listening to Dr. McCullough on Laura Lynn's show yesterday. Basically how they are linking that surge of adrenaline from exercise to exposing the mycarditis that the vaccine is giving to young people. 

Of course there's the "plausible deniability" ?. Moonshine next argument will be "yeah but you can't prove these random deaths are from the vaxx" lol

One of the indictments was against a member of the FBI for lying to the FISA court. That's not the same as "lying to the FBI". The FBI was highly suspect in that whole witch hunt, as evidenced by the criminal indictments, firings and demotions there.

Frum also neglected to mention that Hillary's own lawyer was one of the people charged for lying.

This is why eliminating the control group has been extremely important to Big Pharma - and is a huge No-No in scientific studies.

In order to rush the product to market, they eliminated the control group only 2 months into the safety and efficacy trials and forcing everyone to vaccinate is the ultimate way of eliminating the control group.  How can you prove myocarditis rates are UP in children and young adults if you force them ALL to get the shots?  You can't.  Add in some media propaganda about how children die every day from heart attacks and the gullible and weak-minded eat it up like dogs rooting around in cat litter boxes.  Then they turn on the ones who are skeptical of all these mistakes and coincidences and try to convince us that cat poo is delicious!
