My argument's been the same the whole time. Everything you've said in this thread from Day 1 has been supporting Putin's invasion narrative. Cowardly claiming neutrality when you're so obviously not, in both words and deeds, just highlights your weakness of character. That you're too dimwitted to avoid contradicting and embarrassing yourself is just entertainment for us, at this point. ? I know I know...the very concept of not agreeing with the mob, is inconceivable to you. So you choose the popular side and call yourself...brave? I am neutral with regards to this stupid war in Ukraine. I could care less who wins. But when I see "brave" mob mentality howling about an ant killing a bear...I have to interject sanity. This it true. No matter how you slice and dice the truth...it's still the truth. Ukraine is having their population wasted and their infrastructure demolished. So now the Ukraine...with a lot of help from Britain and the USA no doubt...blew up that Crimea/Russia Bridge again. Hang on people. I doubt the Russians are gonna take kindly to this. I just don't see how people feel Ukraine can easily advance on Russian held points. Even Zelynskyy isn't that naive, and mentions the complexities behind doing just that. NATO weapons won't change a thing. Ukraine's only chance, is trying to advance anywhere, and negotiate from a strong hand. I don't understand how someone would feel they could or even Russia, win this war. Quote

They did it with the Iraq war (weapons of mass destruction, or was it a rogue dictator, yet Kim Jung Un remains untouched), manipulated the narrative in the Afghanistan exit. I don't hold it past them, to put Russia as a losing party, even though they literally hold the bulk of your sea facing land--essentially controlling the bulk of your trade passages. Thats a hard L. Both countries will take an L on any peace deal. But Russia comes out of it likely with land that isn't theirs, and having fully destroyed a significant portion of Ukraine spirit, artifacts, literature and identity. Anyone saying Ukraine is winning is just holding appearances, to avoid hurting people with the truth. Nothing more devastating to finding out billions were spent, because you refuse to accept anything but Russia bending the knee. Basically a "diplomatic" d*** measuring contest, vs accepting the reality, and ending the conflict. Quote

Ukraine's taken more land back in the first 5 weeks of their counter-offensive than Russia took in the six months prior. Russia's done essentially nothing but throw lives away and lose territory since last summer, but apparently that's what winning means. ? Boges Posted July 19, 2023 Report Posted July 19, 2023 It's a convenient built in excuse that breaking this blockade would be provocation for Nuclear War, which is precisely what I think NATO should do. Russia has miscalculated throughout the conflict, and are prepared to go as far as they can, to save face. Russia is using the only leverage it has, albeit highly illegal, to force Ukraine and NATO at the negotiation table, or worse, to wave white flags which I don't see happening for the latter. 4 hours ago, Nationalist said: Or...they could negotiate a peace deal. This would cause the US to lose face to Russia, which would be unnacceptable to them. Like I have said before. This is a d*** measuring contest. Ukraine put king sized balls on the table. Paid for it, but has put Russia on notice. Russia is saying "we didn't have Viagra handy last time we measured" and the US, is acting as if it was petrified of making a mistake, which Putin is picking on. They don't have any balls on the table, and will need to bring them sooner or later. They're otherwise that guy at the club that keeps mentioning they will f*** you up asking their friends to hold them back, while moving away from you. 19 hours ago, Boges said: Famine caused by not letting the Grain get to market is a war crime committed by Russia and Russia alone. They have committed so many war crimes that this being the basis of advancing, would be ridiculous. If there is a refusal from Russia to budge, you are contemplating military conflict with a military armed with nuclear war heads in the thousands as a sound option. This is not an option that belongs on the table. You force a country likely bluffing on the global stage and put them in a position where they have to consider suicidal moves vs losing face. Quote
