We would have no choice but to stop it there, because it's our country and our democracy. Experts (without extra 's') can manage diseases and kudos to them for that. But as soon as they come up with mandates and restrictions on the population, the buck stops right there. Any restriction has to be proportional; effective and necessary. And all of that proven to the best standard of science, transparency and accountability. No, we cannot accept anything less. Emeritus is an honorary title for a retired academic. He doesn't appear to be up on the current literature. Now as to the argument the second embedded link to the National Post article was the central point of the Spectator article. Bullshit.
