Ukraine says Russia is going to attack. But why is it still shelling its own citizens in the East of the country?

Pardon me, but I don't watch Joy Reid, Lawrence O'Donnell and Rachel Maddow. What did he say, "Happy Thursday"? Was that a dog whistle? Can you point to a spot on this dolly where Trump's words hurted you?

Was it in a secret collusion memo ?

So just to confirm how clueless and stuck in your Trump bubble you are, you’re saying that you’re completely unaware of the fact that Trump has not condemned the invasion and in fact has gone out of his way to praise it as “genius”  and “wonderful”

During a live interview with The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, a syndicated conservative talk radio show, Trump called the move by Putin "genius" and "smart."

"I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, 'This is genius.' Putin declares a big portion of Ukraine … as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful," he said on the show on Tuesday.

"Putin is now saying, 'It’s independent,' a large section of Ukraine. I said, 'How smart is that?' And he’s going to go in and be a peacekeeper," Trump added.

Trump also suggested the U.S. should deploy a similar "peace force" to the U.S.-Mexico border.

"We could use that on our southern border. That’s the strongest peace force I’ve ever seen. There were more army tanks than I’ve ever seen. They’re going to keep peace, all right," he said.

Would you say that what Putin did was stupid?

It's the preamble to war. It's propaganda. He's trying to 'justify' his tanks going in there. Whatever. Biden gave him all the time in the world to make up lame excuses and he came up with something that liberals would have to love. "Oh look, he's freeing people!" lol.

What Putin said and did worked because he was going up against the dumbest POTUS in US history.

FYI if Trump was POTUS he wouldn't wait until tanks and troops were in attack positions with hospitals and blood banks all over the place to start putting sanctions in place.

A lot of Finnish politicians have looked very foolish during the past couple days as people remember their earlier statements about Putin being a guy you can trust and how they have critisized the Baltic countries for their Russophobia.

The Baltic countries have had 50 years of experience of the Soviet Union. That is a lesson you don't unlearn very soon.

Over 8 years the Ukrainian government kills civilians in Donbass. Kiev keeps on saying that Russia is going to attack Ukraine. But it was Luhansk and Donetsk militia, who countered the Ukrainian army and defends people in Donbass.
In case you missed it: a few days ago over 400 bodies of killed Ukrainian soldiers were found in mass graves. They all died in combat actions in 2014 as DPR and LPR militia repelled the large-scale attack of Ukrainian army and Nazi-led volunteer battalions. But Ukrainian government doesn't want to join the process of searching the fallen soldiers and taking them back home.
Amid the narratives of Western and Ukrainian mass media about Russian aggression there is a reality showing us that war in Donbass continues and civilians die from Ukrainian army shelling. But Kiev keeps on saying that it's Russia who is an aggressor.

Hello George Moron.  In case you didn't realize, Russia has invaded Ukraine and is indeed the aggressor. Thousands of fleeing defenseless civilians including women and children have been intentionally targeted and murdered by Putin's Russian army. But you got all the facts wrong as who is killing civilians.

Yup. Some of this is rather true. Some of it...is a bit of a warp on reality. For instance, Crimea held a referendum on which country they wanted to be part of. Guess who won.

The only people who have in elections anymore are the ones who win.

Do I have any faith in an election held by the Ukrainian gov't on what the citizens of Crimea wanted? ?

Go look up where the first Russian dynasty was situated. Then tell me just how long Ukraine has been a country and what country it was for centuries before that.

Occupying a country by force does not make it same nation not to mention that Ukrainians speak a different language from Russia and are od East Slavic race. Not to mention Ukrainians are volunteering to join defense of Ukraine and risk dying in order to protect their country from Russian invaders.

Not to mention that I happen to have a Ukrainian lady renting my house in Prague, while my wife and I live here in Canada. Her and my wife speak daily.

I know your heart bleeds for the Ukrainians. I also know the images you see are not pretty. But this is way more complex than you think.

I'm gonna tell you this in spite of your per-determined response...

Trump was right about forming an alliance with Russia. Biden and the Democrats trashed that idea and now we see the results of that stupidity in full bloom. A Russo-American alliance would have produced the world's most powerful force. The world's 2 largest...by far...nuclear powers, working in cooperation, instead of decades of beating the dead horse of NATO and the Cold War.

We had our chance. Instead...Ol' Joe made millions from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch...and then NATO says they just can't let the Ukraine join because of...corruption. The monumentality of this is...well...its fucking monumental.

You may, and likely do, hate the Russians. But I wonder...do you know why? The Cold War was over a long time ago. Get over it.

I grew up in fear of war with Russia and her allies, then I served in the cold war during the late '80s.

I heard many prep talks abut what we were gonna do when Ivan and Igor came over the hill, I spent my early adult life saying things like "Kill a commie for mommy" and "Kill 'em all and let God sort them out", so being "on Russia's side" doesn't come easy for me. BUT, I respect the right of every man on earth to defend their country whether they live in Israel, Palestine, Peru or anywhere else, and the Russians had no choice here.

Leftist dummies don't understand that NATO soldiers could go to Ukraine and endure the stress of being on that line for a couple years at a time, then never look back, but for Russian civilians the stress would start when they're about 5 years old, seeing scary things on the nightly news, and never go away. Nukes from Ukraine's 2,000 km border with Russia would be aimed at Moscow with less than 12 minute travel time.

When I was in the military taking my nuclear, biological chemical defence training they told us that if we stayed in the military until we retired, and did all of our required NBCD training, we'd still have less of it than German students get by grade 8.

Growing up along a military fault line is no joke.

People who expect Russians to live that life can go to fucking hell, 100%. I don't care what happens to the Ukrainians, they were stupid enough to bring this on themselves.

Makes me wonder...who in their right mind could create such a complete cluster-fuck?

Are they all stupid? Or is this happening by design?

Not to be an extreme downer here but...we just came off a bad virus. Now we're staring the war to end all wars in the puss.

Renting an apartment to a Ukrainian nation doesn't make you an expert on Ukraine. I have had both Ukrainian and Russian friends and I can tell you they are very different.

Yes I hate Russia because they have done nothing but harm the world. Their history is full of blood. Unlike the West where all technological advances and cures for diseases made Russians did no such thing except arming themselves to teeth and threaten the rest of the world.

Not only before the cold war they colonized half Europe, killed many defenseless people in Russia and Eastern Europe and Afghanistan but continued to be barbaric even after the cold war after Americans stopped their killing rampage. After the cold war was over they continue to attack and murder millions of defenseless civilians in Chechnya, Georgia and now in Ukraine.

Not to mention as we speak Russia supports the most murderous regimes in the world hated by their own people like barbaric Islamic republic of Iran and murderous regime of Bashire Assad. And the only reason those barbaric regime stay in power is because of Russia's support.

Victoria Nuland Confesses Ukraine Has ’Biological Research Facilities’ and
Fears Russia Could Seize Them.
After the Russian intervention in Ukraine, there were no flights of NATO planes spraying chemtrails over European cities.
It is interesting that all those NATO planes flew from the direction of Ukraine
.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said it has been closely monitoring the bioweapons programs that were developed by the Pentagon in post-Soviet countries. In particular, a “network” of more than 30 biological laboratories was formed on the territory of Ukraine, according to new findings.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland admitted on Tuesday that Ukraine hosts what she called “biological research facilities,” adding that the United States is concerned they could come under the control of Russian forces.
“Ukraine has biological research facilities, which in fact we are now quite concerned Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach,” Nuland said during a Senate hearing on Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry recently published documents showing that Kiev was ordered to urgently eliminate traces of what was called a biological weapons program.
Documentation was received from Ukrainian biological research laboratories on the urgent destruction of dangerous pathogens on February 24, including anthrax, cholera and the plague, in what could be a cover-up of Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) violations.
“Now the documents are being analyzed by military specialists from the Russian radiation, chemical and biological protection forces,” the ministry’s spokesman Igor Konashenkov said, adding that the Pentagon has been experiencing difficulties in continuing its secret biological experiments with the start of Russian special operation in Ukraine.

According to Konashenkov, these facilities were developing components for biological weapons. “With the start of a special military operation, the Pentagon had serious concerns about disclosing the conduct of secret biological experiments on the territory of Ukraine,” he said.
“To prevent disclosure of the facts of violation by the United States and Ukraine of Article 1 of the UN Convention on the Prohibition of Bacteriological and Toxin Weapons by The Ukrainian Ministry of Health, instructions of urgent elimination of stored stocks of dangerous pathogens was sent to all biolaboratories,” Konashenkov said.
In the near future, the ministry will release its analysis of the received documents.
Controversy has long surrounded all “biological facilities” of this type that were established in Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan after the collapse of the Soviet Union, with rumors alleging that Pentagon-funded experiments have been carried out on local military forces to examine resistance to dangerous diseases.

It's pretty much by design.

The Americans have been edging towards Ukraine for a while now, and Putin probably sees a Biden presidency as his opportunity to strike back.

Very possible.

Not that I'm a big conspiracy freak but...

I wonder how The Seven feel about all this?

Wow are you ever indoctrinated. Do you hate NATO for Iraq and Afghanistan? Maybe you hate Canada for its parts in Chile years ago and more recently in Afghanistan?

We're told Russia invaded Ukraine because of NATO expansion. NATO has expanded, contrary to the agreement they had with Russia.

There's a lot of moving parts here but, if you're only capable of understanding 1 part at a time...poor you.
