OMG. Are you serious?  Just please reflect on the fact that government imposes speed limits, traffic laws, licensing and insurance reqemts, seatbelt laws, stop signs, traffic lights, vehicle safety standards, etc. THOSE ARE PUBLIC SAFETY RESTRICTIONS  IN RESPONSE TO DEATHS- NO DIFFERENT THAN COVID RESTRICTIONS

No shit Sherlock, you're starting to catch on. I think this is the first bit of progress that you've ever shown.

The fact is, those laws aren't working or there wouldn't be so many people dying. Buuuuuut... if they imposed far more draconian laws against motor vehicle offences, for sure there'd be less deaths.

They could even ban Tide Pods to save millions of leftist voters from certain death.

Could they get as stupid with other laws/bans as they did with covid? I doubt it.

You are the one looking to another country (USA) for COVID fears and data...instead of your own.

Dude, you had about 6 anecdotes out of probably 500M people who got covid. Over 7,000 people died within 3 days of taking the vaccine.

So you have 1 anecdote.

I believe I referenced this statistic earlier:

More than 369 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through August 30, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 7,218 reports of death (0.0020%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.

Too bad those stats are lorded over by people who don't want to illuminate us on who's dying (age range maybe?) or what they're dying of.

For public awareness and in the interest of transparency, CDC is providing timely updates on the following serious adverse events of interest:

  • Anaphylaxis after COVID-19 vaccination is rare and has occurred in approximately 2 to 5 people per million vaccinated in the United States. Severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, can occur after any vaccination. If this occurs, vaccination providers can effectively and immediately treat the reaction. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccines and allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis.
  • Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) after Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 vaccination is rare. As of August 25, 2021, more than 14.2 million doses of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine have been given in the United States. CDC and FDA identified 44 confirmed reports of people who got the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and later developed TTS. Women younger than 50 years old especially should be aware of the rare but increased risk of this adverse event. There are other COVID-19 vaccine options available for which this risk has not been seen. Learn more about J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS.
    • To date, two confirmed cases of TTS following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Moderna) have been reported to VAERS after more than 346 million doses mRNA COVID-19 vaccines administered in the United States. Based on available data, there is not an increased risk for TTS after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.
  • CDC and FDA are monitoring reports of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) in people who have received the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine. GBS is a rare disorder where the body’s immune system damages nerve cells, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis. Most people fully recover from GBS, but some have permanent nerve damage. After more than 14.2 million J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine doses administered, there have been around 176 preliminary reports of GBS identified in VAERS as of August 25, 2021. These cases have largely been reported about 2 weeks after vaccination and mostly in men, many 50 years and older. CDC will continue to monitor for and evaluate reports of GBS occurring after COVID-19 vaccination and will share more information as it becomes available.
  • Myocarditis and pericarditis after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. As of August 25, 2021, VAERS has received 1,377 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis among people ages 30 and younger who received COVID-19 vaccine. Most cases have been reported after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), particularly in male adolescents and young adults. Through follow-up, including medical record reviews, CDC and FDA have confirmed 798 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis. CDC and its partners are investigating these reports to assess whether there is a relationship to COVID-19 vaccination. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccines and myocarditis.
  • Reports of death after COVID-19 vaccination are rare. More than 369 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through August 30, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 7,218 reports of death (0.0020%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it’s unclear whether the vaccine was the cause. Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem. A review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records, has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines. However, recent reports indicate a plausible causal relationship between the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine and TTS, a rare and serious adverse event—blood clots with low platelets—which has caused deaths pdf icon[1.4 MB, 40 pages].

"1,377 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis among people ages 30 and younger" is pretty bad. How many of the 7,218 people that died were suffering through that?

Does it say that somewhere?

If there were 1,377 cases in people 30 and under, what about in people 30 and older? Why is there no mention of that?

Is there an age range for these deaths? We know of one 13 yr-old, but his story isn't really making the rounds.

Honestly, if it's 7K people with an average age of 78 yrs old, like in covid deaths, then it's not that big of a deal. That would almost be expected. But.... you're not allowed to know.

No actually it’s not bad given the 177 million doses that have been given out  It also says people with that condition recover quickly :

  • More than 177 million people have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the United States, and CDC continues to monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines for any health problems that happen after vaccination.
  • Since April 2021, there have been more than a thousand reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) of cases of inflammation of the heart—called myocarditis and pericarditis—happening after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna) in the United States.
  • These reports are rare, given the hundreds of millions of vaccine doses administered, and have been reported after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination, particularly in adolescents and young adults. View the latest information.
  • CDC and its partners are actively monitoring these reports, by reviewing data and medical records, to learn more about what happened and to understand any relationship to COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Most patients who received care responded well to treatment and rest and quickly felt better.

In Parts Of The U.S., Delta Covid-19 Surge Is Forcing Hospitals To Ration ICU Beds

When Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) tweeted on Tuesday, September 7th, that “Real America is done with Covid-19” it raises the question whether the Congressman is even aware that the 7-day average of daily Covid-19 deaths is approaching 1,500 (real Americans, by the way), and approximately 100,000 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized nationwide.

The Delta surge of Covid-19 is forcing hospitals in parts of the U.S. to plan for or implement rationing of intensive care unit (ICU) beds. On September 6th, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease, said that as hospitals in a number of states fill up with Covid-19 patients, doctors will have to make “tough choices” regarding who will get an ICU bed.

In a growing number of states, doctors and hospital administrators are already making these hard decisions. And not just in the South; also in states like Idaho.

Idaho public health officials have enacted what they call “crisis standards of care,” as the latest Covid-19 surge overwhelms hospitals, particularly in the Northern part of the state. State officials have warned that some patients there may not be able to get needed care.

The state’s crisis standards of care guidelines stipulate that those deemed in most need of care and most likely to benefit are placed on priority lists for scarce resources, such as ICU beds. This means that if a patient requires ICU care, someone else may have to be removed from a ventilator to make room.

What this implies is that these hospital decision-makers and physicians will be placed in the uncomfortable role of being the ones rationing care, effectively granting death sentences to some. Not every Covid-19 patient can be helped, and this will also include non-Covid-19 patients as lack of ICU space applies to them as well.

The problem of hospitals bumping up against capacity constraints certainly isn’t limited to Idaho. In at least six states - Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Texas - more than 90% of ICU beds are occupied. In some states, such as West Virginia, several hospitals have no ICU beds available. Neighboring states, including Kentucky, have declared crises are imminent. Kentucky’s Governor Beshear asserted that the state’s “situation is dire.” Even Hawaii, a highly vaccinated state, is preparing for possible rationing action as the Delta wave intensifies. Last week, Governor Ige signed an executive order releasing hospitals and healthcare workers from liability if they must ration healthcare.….

Florida school district calls emergency meeting after 5,500+ students forced to quarantine over COVID-19 outbreak

More than 5,500 students at a school district in Central Florida are being forced to quarantine due to an outbreak of COVID-19, prompting the school board to announce Monday that it is holding an emergency meeting to discuss "mandatory face coverings."

The outbreak at Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa comes less than a week after students returned to in-person learning there. As of Monday morning, 5,599 students and 316 employees are isolating after either testing positive or being in close contact with someone who has, the school board said.

The coronavirus is taking a toll on one South Florida school district.

According to NBC6, 15 staff members in Miami-Dade County Public Schools died over a recent 10-day span.

One of the educators that lost their life to COVID-19 was Abe Coleman, 55, a teacher for more than 30 years.

More kids hospitalized with COVID-19 in U.S. states with lower vaccination rates, CDC report finds

More children went to the hospital and emergency room in states with lower vaccination rates, according to a new study from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Children have largely been spared the worst of COVID-19 -- hospitalizations and deaths are rarer for children than for adults -- although recently children's hospitals have been filling up in COVID-19 hotspots around the country.

The research published Friday in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Report found that hospitalizations and emergency room visits for kids with COVID-19 increased from June to August of this year.

In the two week period in mid to late August, ER visits were 3.4 times higher in the states with the lowest vaccination rates and hospitalizations were 3.7 times higher than in states with the highest vaccination rates. The states with the lowest vaccination coverage were in the South.

"Broad, community-wide vaccination of all eligible persons is a critical component of mitigation strategies to protect pediatric populations from SARS-CoV-2 infection and severe COVID-19 illness," the CDC-led team wrote.

And while the more highly contagious Delta variant sent more kids to the hospital with COVID-19, it was a similar proportion to the numbers who were hospitalized earlier in the pandemic, a second report found.

The team found hospitalization rates increased five-fold among children and teens and increased rapidly from late June to mid-August, coinciding with the spread of the more contagious Delta variant in the United States.

The rate of hospitalization for unvaccinated teens was 10 times higher than for those that were vaccinated. Hospitalizations were highest among kids aged up to 4, and teens 12-17.

One in four of the children who were hospitalized needed intensive care…..

Well yeah, how many of Covid-19 were associated with pre-existing serious condition (at times, very serious) and wouldn't it be a kind of combining too?

"aren't really severe... " this argument" makes me drop any interest real fast. Up to who is it to judge what is minor or not for someone else? Is it minor for you if I tell you that you cannot buy vanilla ice cream, only chocolate? What if I arrange it into love for humanity and universal goodness terms, without much evidence though? Would it make a lot of difference?

My guess is people who reference VAERS have never even looked at the site themselves, they are just parroting what others are feeding them.

Disclaimer from the VAERS website

Quote

VAERS accepts reports of adverse events and reactions that occur following vaccination. Healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public can submit reports to the system. While very important in monitoring vaccine safety, VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. In large part, reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they are subject to biases. This creates specific limitations on how the data can be used scientifically. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind.

Quote

When evaluating data from VAERS, it is important to note that for any reported event, no cause-and-effect relationship has been established. Reports of all possible associations between vaccines and adverse events (possible side effects) are filed in VAERS. Therefore, VAERS collects data on any adverse event following vaccination, be it coincidental or truly caused by a vaccine. The report of an adverse event to VAERS is not documentation that a vaccine caused the event.

In other words, none of the reports are verified, anyone can submit reports, including anti vaxxers trying to pack the statistics with bullshit.

WHO THE HELL WANTS TO SIGN UP FOR THAT???

Most of what you’re posting is complete disinformation.  Like the 10 dying of covid at the start of school.  Those individuals had COVID before school even started, and chose not to get vaccinated.  Perhaps they should have listed to their governor who highly recommended it.  But I’ll sign up for freedom any day of the week and twice on Sunday.  Vaccines are easily available.  If somebody chooses not to get vaccinated, that’s on them.  It should for me, who’s fully vaccinated, to have to wear masks or close down businesses or restrict my freedom.  It’s called personal responsibility.  Take control of your own health, and stop asking other people to make you safe. You’re probably like the rest of the branch covidians.  You’re terrified of the virus, but haven’t changed your lifestyle one bit, like eating healthy and exercising.

Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.

Out of any group of 389M people there are guaranteed to be a lot of deaths within 3 days, and that's how many shots were given out.

They are all believed to have had adverse reactions to the jab and then died, but 'adverse reactions' includes things that are relatively minor.

If people who were young and healthy are having serious reactions causing death from the vaccine then maybe it poses a greater risk to young people than covid.

The argument about driving, etc, pant wearing does not hold water. Those measures were adopted after long and involved discussion, with consideration of substantial evidence and a record of experience. Covid measures are made in some offices somewhere on the fly, you can get almost daily and at times contradictory recommendations and requirements, without any consultation, discussion or explanations. Nobody even knows how and by who those decisions are made.

There's no precedent for that in the normal, peaceful life of a democratic society where all authority has to be accountable to the citizens. Sure, wartime can be different but who bothered to prove that this is equivalent to war and cannot be handled with intelligent and rational and effective policies in a normal or as close to it as possible life of the society?

Thanks to one brave country we know that it can be done: Sweden. No, it was not perfect and probably not by far, but the fact is here: without any mandates and lockdowns it managed the same, per capita results as Quebec here with how many, who could even recall? So yes the fact is that it can be done and the question is then, why it has not been done and why intelligence and reason were replaced with panic-pumping propaganda and mandatory restrictions of unknown effectiveness?

52,902,389 Doses administered

3,768 Serious Adverse Events (0.007% of all doses administered)

An event is considered serious if it:

  • results in death
  • is life-threatening (an event/reaction in which the patient was at real, rather than hypothetical, risk of death at the time of the event/reaction)
  • requires in-patient hospitalization or prolongation of existing hospitalization
  • results in persistent or significant disability/incapacity, or
  • results in a congenital anomaly/birth defect

We are already seeing what the events of the covid vaccines are doing to the people who took the jabs. Many are now suffering from debilitating injuries for those that took the covid vaccines, and there has been many people who have died also after taking these covid vaccines. The covid events are maiming and killing innocent gullible people.

We are now seeing mass murder events being committed against we the people by the big pharma communist globalists billionaires who could careless about what they are doing to the people.

In Israel, the Jews are now being told that they must now take their second covid booster jab. WTF? Why is that? To me it is quite obvious. The covid vaccines must not be working. I can see a mass rising of serious injuries and many deaths in Israel in the coming year in Israel thanks to all of these vaccine jabs. The body can only take so much of an experimental vaccine before it tries to fight back. Sadly for them, it is too late now.

I am just wondering as to how many Canadians will be convinced enough to take those extra bonus vaccine booster jabs that they will need to be able to be allowed to travel or go to some sports event? This covid hoax and bullshit will never end until the stupid buffoons out there finally realize and say enough already, no more vaccine jabs. They want their old normal lives back again sans covid.

If the vaccines are so effective then why do we need to take more vaccine jabs. Two jabs should have been enough already. Obviously, it is all just about pushing vaccines on the gullible buffoons who will take those extra bonus vaccine jabs if told to do so, so they still travel. Why are the communists in power trying to keep pushing for 100% vaccine jabs if the vaccines work so well. Why not leave it up to the people to decide instead? Nope, cannot have that.

For evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. Right now the good people are not getting it yet. The evil communist globalists are still running the vaccine depopulation agenda and still are running peoples lives. it's high time for the good people to wake the phuk up. Just saying. ?

No you are the source of the misinformation. The article quite clearly states that it is unknown when the staff members contracted covid and even if it was before the start of the school year it’s irrelevant.  Are you under the impression that COVID can’t be transmitted after the school bell rings?  The point is that COVID is actively  killing and circulating amongst school staff thanks to Republican incompetence and now school has started.

Your “freedom” argument fails because it’s like saying people should be free to drive drunk   All freedoms have reasonable limits and school kids under 12 can’t get vaccinated and tue vaccine isn’t 100% effective so when some anti-mask/anti-vax coughs his COVID virus all over my kids and somebody in my circle ends up in the hospital damn right I’ll hold him responsible

Im not saying that people should be forced to get vaccinated but if they CHOOSE not to then they should accept that they are trading off some of their privileges and conveniences. Why should the rest  of us be the ones who have to sacrifice our conveniences to accommodate them?

I thought conservatives were opposed to catering to minorities, anti-maskers/anti-vaxxers are a minority.
