He served his purpose and it was time to replace him is all.

yeah? and what purpose was that?

the only purpose of anyone around Trump is to do his dirty work and if they get caught get thrown under the bus by him because he didn't tell them to do no dirty work. hahaha!

from what we're hearing now, Boulton sounds like a real upstanding guy.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's all in the game. The game is out there, and it's either play, or get played. Just win baby.

being a dirty politician is not a bad thing? like, when you vote you go... "hmm, lets see...who is the dirtiest politician? you know, the most underhanded. the guy you can trust not to trust. that guys got my vote!"

move to Russia where those decisions are made for you!

As noted. Trump garnered some support from educated burb dwellers. That support seems to have evaporated.

Great...then how's 'bout we have the next election and see what happens ?

Trump can win or lose, just like any other sitting U.S. president.

Let's review:

1)  Trump will never win the GOP nomination -   wrong

2)  Trump will never be elected president - wrong

3)  Trump will not be inaugurated - wrong

4)  Trump colluded with the Russians (Boo!) - wrong

5)  Trump will be removed by the 25th Amendment - wrong

6)  <Fill in the blanks> - wrong again !

Who said he'd never be inaugurated?

And I'm pretty sure Trump did Collude with the Russians, but the Mueller report couldn't have him indicted so he also never ruled either way.

Unfaithful electors and their wishful, deluded thinking.

We don't impeach our presidents based on what you are "pretty sure" of....sorry....that's not how it works "south of the border".

Which is why he wasn't impeached on the Mueller Investigation. Remember that investigation was started by Republicans in the DOJ.

Now Ukraine is another matter. It's pretty clear that Trump tried to get a foreign government to investigate political rivals in exchange for Congressionally approved military aide.

So does that mean "pretty clear" is a higher standard than your "pretty sure" ?

Are these Canadian legal standards ?     Still wouldn't apply in the United States.

Trump can investigate any perps he wants to, including the crooked Bidens.

Yes he can....lots of ways to do it....just like any other U.S. president.

U.S. foreign aid (economic and military) is implicitly authorized to provide such leverage.

But not for political purposes.

Why has Trump only shown interest in corruption when it involves political opponents?

Same reason the Democrats only go after their political opponents.

If the Bidens were riding dirty, they are not immune from investigation just because Sleepy Joe is running for prez.

The GOP can investigate the Bidens all they want. But they're extorting another country to do it for them.

Trump didn't start the trade war(s)...the wars have been going on for decades.

Example:  the softwood lumber dispute started in 1982 !

Trump restarted the trade war.  Just because there was previous wars that doesnt mean he did not start a new one.  Kinda like how the Iraq war was restarted.

And that doesnt change the fact that he tried to get China to investigate Biden.

Good for Trump...obviously the Bidens were riding dirty.

So what if it involved China (or any other country).    Canada arrested Meng for violating Obama era sanctions against Iran.

Trump is president....Biden ain't.

It implies another quid pro quo.  But yeah trump can just do whatever he pleases, he is above the law.
