New Jersey Democrat is defecting to the Republican Party because of impeachment..."in your face" Nancy Pelosi !

Hopefully, this will happen many more times. That democrat saw the light, and he knew that if he stayed on with the democrats over this farce of an impeachment gong show, he could probably lose his seat. Now if the Republicans can get another 17 more democrats to do the same thing, they could win back the house and have a majority. For the ones who do not, stand a good chance of losing their seats. I wonder what those anti Trump members here have to say about this defection? Indeed, way the go Nancy Pelosi. I love you. LOL.

The leftist pro democrat lieberal American MSM like CNN or MSNBC very seldom ever have a pro Trump conservative on their TV network shows, or a very few. Unfortunately for FOX News watchers, they have to put up and watch and listen too many liberal leftist who are on the FOX payroll, and get to push their anti-Trump bull shit around on Fox. I guess that it is safe to say that FOX News is not showing any bias, and is showing to be non-partisan.

The owners of FOX News are zionist globalists anyway, and would love nothing more than to turn FOX News into another leftist liberal CNN or MSNBC TV news station. But they are unable to do this at this time. They know that if they did they would go belly up financially if they tried because probably 90% of their viewers are republican conservatives. With FOX News you can get both sides of the story. They are always interviewing leftist liberal pro democrats on FOX. Got it now? ;)

Wishful thinking is a helluva drug. The Biden's refusing to testify is good for the Republicans, and it certainly isn't a disaster of any sort.

Why is that good for Republicans but Trump and all his minions hiding under their desks and refusing to answer any questions not bad for them?

i hope it will be as detailed as his first report! you know, the “Complete poppycock” report.

If it's more than half a page Trump won't read it anyway.

Well it is bad for them, not that bad, not as bad as testifying would be for them. It's a wash at best and limits risk when both of them do it, when it's only one side doing it, it's a slight win for the side not doing, but not a win that moves the needle in any way. Impeachment is boring, it's entirely partisan affair, and that goes both ways. Since it's the Democrats trying to remove a POTUS from office over nothing because of partisan reasons, the swing voters will punish the Democrats.

That will just backfire on Republicans, as it did when they tried to impeach Clinton. Impeachment always backfires without a smoking gun.

People were able to separate Clinton's private sex life from his public life as President and felt it only natural he would deny an affair.

What Trump did is far worse than anything Clinton or Nixon did. As for a 'smoking gun', it's so smoky that the Republicans haven't even made an effort to deny it.
No one doubts that Trump halted military aid to Ukraine.
No one doubts this was done against the advise of every single American entity involved with Ukraine.
No explanation for that halt has been even suggested.
No one doubts Trump tried to blackmail the Ukrainians into launching a public investigation of Joe Biden's son to discredit Biden.
No other branch of Trump's government had any interest in Biden's son. Not the State Department, not the Justice Department.
Trump's own appointed ambassador said that Trump's sole interest in Ukraine was getting Biden investigated and having that publicly proclaimed.

None of this is in any doubt. The position of the Republicans had been that the whole process is wrong (even though they approved all the rule changes) and that even so there's noting especially wrong with Trump betraying America's national security interests and using the power of the president to try and enlist a foreign government in attacking his domestic political rival. Which is frankly astonishingly morally corrupt.

And it's a short step from doing this to having the people Trump places in the Justice Department 'investigating' his critics and political rivals. And an even shorter step to manufacturing evidence against them.

Why would testifying be bad for them? Trump himself said that if you had nothing to hide you ought to testify. He said only guilty people take the 5th.

Only because the Republicans lack all sense of decency, integrity and honor.

There is no smoking gun. There was more of a smoking gun for Clinton, and that backfired. You simply have Trump Derangement Syndrome if you think what Trump did was worse than Nixon or Clinton and therefore America will support it, they don't view it that way. Stop projecting how you view the situation on the American electorate, they don't think like you do, so stop assuming that they do.

Now see this is a great example! You don't deny anything I wrote. You simply deleted it without talking about it, and referred back to that old nonsensical "Trump derangement syndrome" as if a normal human being even without any previous acquaintance with or knowledge of American political personalities would not, upon reading what I wrote, find it appalling that a political leader in a democratic country would do that.

You don't live in the swing states or swing districts, your opinion is irrelevant. What matters is what the swing states and swing district voters think, because he ain't getting removed from office, and impeachment only matters in regards to how it effects 2020, which is not good for the Democrats. Argus being appalled matters exactly zero.

Canadians have The Rebel and the RightEdition websites that do give we the people the other side of the story that Trudeau and his liberal globalist ilk do not want you to listen too.

There is this bull shit UN climate change gong game show going on in Madrid to supposedly try and help fight global warming or climate change or the new word that these climate alarmists freaks have come up with now. They now want to call it climate positive. They keep changing the name as much as Trudeau probably keeps changing his colorful socks. No matter what Teflon Don Trudeau does, he will never pay for his crimes and misdemeanors against we the people of Canada. According to the Canadian lame duck MSM, both Trudeau's were god's gift to Canada and Canadians. We the people must always get down on our knees when Teflon Don is in our presence.

The Rebel had two reporters who were in Madrid to attend and report on this UN climate change summit social anti-fossil oil get together. But thanks to Trudeau, The Rebel reporters were denied entry into this farce of a UN summit on climate change. Trudeau asked the UN to deny those two reporters entry, and of course the UN obliged Trudeau. This is what Trudeau thinks of we the Canadian people, and alternative media. Trudeau is terrified of The Rebel and the RightEdition. If you are not on his liberal globalist bs side, then you will be denied entry into his own private liberal globalist country club. Trudeau is a fascist alright, and very anti-freedom of speech. Only his speech will be allowed. Sure looks like communism to me? Canada is in big trouble in the next four years with this guy back in power once again. His fascism will only get bigger and greater and will be applied too those he disagrees with. Watch your ass.

Ezra Levant is hard to watch sometimes, he tends to drone on, but it's entirely fascist for our PM to ban Rebel Media.

Neither of your quotes contains any suggestion that either president endangered American security interests by blackmailing an Allie to act against his political opponents. However, the Nixon example is illustrative of how bad a government can get. And with Barr as the head of the Justice Department, and thus the FBI, where Trump might well take it in ordering investigations and illegal wiretaps of opposition political and media figures.

Fortunately, back then, there were Republican Senators with integrity. Nixon had to resign when this was discovered or be thrown out. Today, there are no such people. If it were discovered that Trump and Barr had ordered FBI or Justice Department agents to conduct illegal wiretaps of key Democrats and investigations into them every Republican senator would stand shoulder to should in his defense. I wonder just how far these people would be willing to go. If he starts arresting Democrats would the Republicans still shrilly defend him? Would you?

Close enough for government work...FDR conspired with the British against GOP holdouts against entering WW2.   Nixon's behaviour is obvious and well documented.

There are other instances of the White House bringing such pressure to bear on domestic politics, with ever expanding Executive powers (long before Trump).

The main point here is that Trump's actions are not without precedent....except for the Trump haters who want to ignore history.

Nope...that's quite the stretch....and the Democrats have not been able to gain bipartisan support for impeachment & removal because the articles are so weak.

Abe Lincoln did exactly what you suggest and still reigns as America's greatest president.

... and no, Trump would not have much if any support for doing such things.

Many Trump haters refuse to accept that Donald Trump is POTUS, and will do anything to de-legitimize his presidency.

Why is it a stretch? Are you going to try and make the case that Donald Trump is more moral, has more integrity, has more respect for the law than Richard Nixon?

Good luck with that!

Really? Yet neither you nor any of Trump's defender here nor in the congress or senate have even attempted to deny what he did. Instead you all complain about the process and scream about Biden's son. Trump endangered American security interests to blackmail an allie into announcing a public investigation into the guy likely to beTrump's political opponent
 in the upcoming election.

Abraham Lincoln ordered his political and media enemies arrested? Cite for that?
