Yes, yes, the white man's burden. It's not good enough that we impose environmental and legal requirements on companies that operate in Canada. We have to do the same to the ones which operate in other countries. Well, not all other countries, just the ones being run by 'brown' people. I know my good old hockey brothers out here, these men who are authentic country boys, farmers and tradesmen who've lived here all their life, Canada's true sons, even though their name has been removed from our very Anthem... they forgive Ron Maclean. Not because he deserves it, but because it is in their upbringing to forgive. They are what makes Canada great.

There's nothing to forgive,  it was no crime, it's not about whether I forgive him, I have simply lost all respect for him.

Well, you have the right to stop me tattooing my message on your forehead.  I think that's what it means when something is cancelled.  That doesn't mean it isn't stupid or hypocritical.  It might well be.  I think it was both, and mean and cowardly to boot, for Sportsnet to fire Cherry, but they were only exercising their rights.

Of course, that all goes by the board if any force or coercion is used.
