My one uncle simply never went home after getting released from Seebe and translator duty...and it was just a hop skip and a jump to the heart of Volga German Canada...Central Alberta. Just like home... Her's is a similar tale, I'm sure. However, Volga Germany was wiped-off the map in WW2 by both the Nazis and the Reds. Stalingrad and all that. Back on topic , have you done any research on today's current state of our military....people who have been isolated in the back country for years know why is it that most Canadians like you do not.....perhaps if you could put aside your dislike for anything military for a second, you might just see the light and just how bad it is ....
