Guest
Just create an activity stream that is set to Status Updates only, in the "Content Types" box. Save it as a separate activity stream.
BC_chick
This suggestion may be more for Greg and I'm not sure if it can even be done, but... Any new members signing on to the forum after new format won't really know what status updates are. Since most of us old timers are even having a hard time figuring it out, maybe it could be one of the main tabs like Forum and Chat. Yeah? Just now, Michael Hardner said: Please share. Michael Hardner
Ok. But they still aren't appearing on the main page. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
BC_chick
No, they're not. My question (which got figured out and deleted) was to bcsapper about how he managed to get the stream going. Activity Tab, My Activity Streams (drop down), choose Status Updates. I had the status updates, but suddenly it's gone. I clicked on Activity Tab and I have no Status Updates Option. This along with the glitch not allowing me to have a sig line makes me wonder just how badly fubar this new format is.

I've removed the block because i haven't had the time to fix this issue. The status block will return once it's working properly. The signatures not being visible isn't a glitch, it's a conscious choice on my part. I'm still deciding whether there is any real value - because i'm thinking there isn't any. Forum Admin Greg Posted November 14, 2016 Forum Admin Report Share Posted November 14, 2016 I've gone an added another stream called, "Status Updates' to the Activity menu. That should make it easier for everyone (now you won't need to make a custom stream). Quote Have any issues, problems using the forum? Click on it an you will be given 2 choices: status or topic. Click "status" and the status dialogue box should open. Of course, you have to be logged in to see the "create" option. In my case, I can also access the status update dialogue box on the right side of the home page where it says "what's on your mind". Looks like the home page is not uniform for all members.
