Derek 2.0 Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 I admit, it did seem like a desperate ploy until today. Having said that, I'm not sure what you were expecting from her camp. If Trump was sick and the Clinton camp was saying so, you think Trump would have done things differently than she did? Not at all, and I'd be surprised if Trump wasn't hiding any health issues of his own. Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 At this rate, she is going to be the first women president to die in office. Thats if she even makes it to the office.........I'd always thought Bill would have croaked long before Hillary.. Quote
betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 I wouldn't get too excited yet. Clinton is the best thing Trump has going, it would work very bad for him to run against somebody else. I agree with you. Voters not too happy with Trump but who'd never vote for Hillary, may end up voting for her replacement. Quote
betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) I saw news clips of Hillary on CTV news channel today - she walks slow, she moves slow. She doesn't have the pep. I think there's some truth to the rumours. So, I was right. The news clip I saw was when she was criticizing Trump's supporters. That video of her being helped in a car - it looks more serious than pneumonia! I just had pneumonia last year and after the medication, I still had a residual pneumonia - I wasn't that weak! I even walked all the way by myself to the doctor! I was working (and my work is quite physical) and all the while, unknowingly, I had pneumonia. I thought my cough was just an ordinary cough that just took too long to go away. I wouldn't have gone to the doctor had my husband not nagged me about it! Edited September 12, 2016 by betsy Quote

betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 The corpse of Hillary Clinton is still better than Trump. Trump was right, again! He was saying Hillary is not physically fit. Quote
betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) "Team Clinton" hasn't discounted or dismissed the video.........so I doubt it was "Team Putin Trump".... They showed that clip on CBC. It must be legit. Team Clinton says it's pneumonia. She's out for a couple of days. Edited September 12, 2016 by betsy Quote
Boges Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Lots of internet doctors around. You know, arguably only of the top 3 presidents in the history of the US could barely walk and got elected on death's door. When there's smoke there's fire however and this is very public re-enforcement for people who think she's chronically ill. I don't really think either of the options Americans have in front of them is ideal. Edited September 12, 2016 by Boges Quote
betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Again, I think it would be rather difficult......I think Clinton would have to bow out herself, citing health reasons, and I'd assume Kaine would move to the top of the ticket. Can he move to the top when Hillary isn't the President yet? Quote
dialamah Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 So, I was right. The news clip I saw was when she was criticizing Trump's supporters. I thought my cough was just an ordinary cough that just took too long to go away. I wouldn't have gone to the doctor had my husband not nagged me about it! I had pneumonia when I was much younger. I couldn't get out of bed for three days, was barely conscious for two of those days, and missed a full week of work because I was just that weak. Quote
betsy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Not at all, and I'd be surprised if Trump wasn't hiding any health issues of his own. He's revealing his medical report, that's what it says today on the news. He'll be at Dr Oz, too. I had pneumonia when I was much younger. I couldn't get out of bed for three days, was barely conscious for two of those days, and missed a full week of work because I was just that weak. If what she has is indeed pneumonia, like her......you're in quite poor shape too, if you'd got knocked down that bad. Unless there are different strains of pneumonia. How old are you? I thought you'd be quite younger than me. Edited September 12, 2016 by betsy Quote

If what she has is indeed pneumonia, liken like her......you're in poor shape, too. How old are you? I thought you'd be quite younger than me. When I got the pneumonia, I was in my late 30s. I didn't have a car, walked or transited everywhere, and I regularly attended the gym which was only a few blocks from where I lived, so this was during one of the fittest times of my life. I did get it bad, who knows why? But there are also different strains of pneumonia so maybe that has something to do with our different experiences. Quote

I got pneumonia too in my late 30's - still the same, working and all that although I felt easily tired (I napped). A nurse heard me coughing while I was at her home and told me to get checked since I didn't sound good. She suspected pneumonia. She was right. Quote
sharkman Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 And Hillary's been barking like a seal for weeks. The media ignored it for the most part, downplaying it and such. Meanwhile there are pictures of Hilary needing a portable step just to get into her motorcade SUV. Now pneumonia in her late 60's after being MIA for the month of August. Just what else is she hiding? Quote
BubberMiley Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Still time for her to drop out or die and for Bernie to take over. Considering she's a more right-wing candidate than Trump and that she should be winning in a landslide given the GOP anti-campaign, I imagine there's a lot of pressure on her to give it up. She hadn't given a gruelling press conference in months. They're hiding something. Edited September 12, 2016 by betsy Quote

?Impact Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 No press is allowed to travel with her on the plane. You are right, she is copying the Trump style of campaigning. Quote
Scott Mayers Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Does Hillary get close up with people, as in 'contact' such as shaking hands, hugging, etc.? I'm sure that Trump was always shy of handshaking even. Quote
DogOnPorch Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 You are right, she is copying the Trump style of campaigning. You can pretty much attend Trump rallies virtually. ?Impact Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Does it look like a seizure? No, syncope. While it is difficult to tell much from the video, I doubt if she was having a seizure she would have been slumped on the pylon first. Quote

I'm sure that Trump was always shy of handshaking even. In reading an article on him years ago, he does not shake hands. It struck me because as a germanphobe I actually admire that and wish I knew how to do that without looking awkward, but to get back to your point - no he doesn't.
