I'd say that is Europe's problem. Decades of prostrating itself before Islam has turned them into defenseless sheep. Don't look to me to save Paris.

The US didn't attack the Germans because they were fond of Europeans, you know. They didn't want to wait until the Germans owned the whole world and then turned their attentions on the Americans. Russia is easily defeatable through ordinary military means now if the west properly funds its military. Russia that includes all of Europe is not. And then there's the business and financial interests involved, etc.

So your claim is that Russia wants to take over the world? They have to tow their carriers...

Islam, however, is spreading like the pox.

More code words that mean...let the Americans pay to defend Europe, because Europe (and Canada) won't pay.

Trump is conspicuous by his lack of tweets today. He must have lawyered up eh?

Except when he said at a public speaking engagement that no politician in history had been treated worse.

This comes as a relief to JFK and Lincoln.

His little self pitying screed in front of, of all people USCG grads, has to be yet a new low even for Trump. I hope his "bone spurs" were flaring up "bigly" as he spoke.

Given Russia's cozy relationship with Syria and Iran, I doubt Israel shares your confidence that this information won't end up in the hands of their enemies.

In a statement emailed to The New York Times, Ron Dermer, the Israeli ambassador to the United States, reaffirmed that the two countries would maintain a close counterterrorism relationship. “Israel has full confidence in our intelligence-sharing relationship with the United States and looks forward to deepening that relationship in the years ahead under President Trump,” Mr. Dermer said.

How nice of Vlad, I'm sure Israelis will be comforted.

I perused some Israeli national news sites, none of them mention this event. One headline shows "Trump under fire? Putin to the rescue!"

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/229790

The article explains- "Russian president Putin says President Trump did not transfer any classified info to Russia and offered transcript of meeting to Congress.
Putin said that he didn't yet want to judge President Trump's functioning as president and he would only do this when Trump was allowed to do his job properly." Accompanied by smiling photos of Putin and Trump. There is no negative publicity.

President Trump will meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu on Friday. That meeting will be very telling as to the attitude surrounding this event.

We are being led to believe these events are unconstitutional/ illegal etc. but it seems that this is highly misleading. If there should be an investigation, it should be into who is behind this intense smear campaign that makes the US look like it is verging on the bring of disaster. It is in itself dangerous.

Excuse? Threat? ...I never make either. Just didn't want to bore you with facts. But to start I can tell you some of the biggest roundabouts with some of the wildest traffic you will ever face are in Moscow. and of course many of the drivers in Lada's are pissed on wodka. You must be careful.

So, nothing to say about politics in Russia, eh? All you know about Russia and Putin than is about Russian roundabouts. Ya, I saw those on the internet too. Are you sure that you don't get pizzed on wodka a lot yourself? Just asking?

I have to say I thought Putin's recent comments were hilarious.  Talk about taking the piss.

He probably sleeps better now than he has done for many a year, knowing the type of buffoon he is up against.

Some time ago I remarked on here that "This election just keeps on giving".

I had no idea!

So the Russians have a transcript to the meaning but the Whitehouse doesn't? Were the Ruskies wearing wires?

So Rod Rosenstein (AG Sessions having recused himself from involvement in the trump investigation) has appointed a special counsel - ex FBI head Robert Mueller - to investigate the Russian-Trump connections now. He informed the White House after the fact, and we haven't heard from Trump on what he has to say.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2017/may/17/donald-trump-russia-james-comey-flynn-live

Brit Hume, on FOX, seemed to be trying to tell Trump how he should respond, saying it would be 'very, very wise' of the White House to welcome the special counsel and promise full cooperation. I have a feeling that, given Trump's disposition, he would have been enraged when he found out about this, and probably felt betrayed, and probably want to fire Rosenstein. That would be a HUGE mistake, but that doesn't mean Trump might not want to make it.

I started out simple so as not to bury you. And hey, roundabouts are much more interesting when you are actually driving them than simply googling them.

Just trying to remember if Obama squelched any FBI investigations besides those of Hillary and that IRS thingy?  I know he tried to influence other things like Treyvon Martin and Darren Wilson, but I wonder just how many times he actually obstructed justice.

Well, Obama has at least 2 obstructions on record.  There was never any outrage, so they all kinda slipped under the radar, but when I have time, maybe I'll find some others..

I suggest not wasting your time, but rather pay attention to what the independent investigation finds.

Yes, at least two, but Obama didn't have a pitchfork nation coming after him for impeachment from day number 1.

President Obama waded in on the Clinton email investigation several times.

Trump must be a little scared with Mueller appointment. This ought to speed up impeachment and maybe we can get on to some actually important news. This is getting so boring.

He's not getting impeached.  It's pretty clear that everyone has some baggage, but to impeach Trump sets a very low precedent for impeachment, one that I'm sure Obama and Hillary don't want to see lowered.  Do the Dems want to opt for the scorched earth policy?

Personally, I'd like to hear more about the Clinton foundation and their relationships.

Obstruction of Justice is certainly not a "low precedent", whatever that is supposed to mean. I think lying about collusion with Russia is a tad more serious than lying about extramarital sex. He will very likely be impeached.

If a president can stand up and say Hillary is innocent of any wrongdoing while a formal investigation is still ongoing - and that's deemed ok, then I hardly think saying "i hope you can see clear to let this go", is considered obstruction.

I know that you really want this, but even many pundits who really hate him, are saying impeachment likely won't happen.  FYI, this is not so much about impeachment for the Dems as it is about the next election.

There is a wide gap between simply making a statement, and relieving someone like the head of the FBI of their job, especially with regard to the current situation.

There can be no doubt about it. You have to be a liberal troll because liberals never answer any questions asked of them. They just keep coming back with more nonsense. .
