I'm sure he has the military's full support. You'll see after the big parade they are planning to hold some time in 2019.

Well no he doesn't have the militaty's full support according to an interview I listened to today with a high ranking general who was concerned about trump ordering military as well as civilian border guards to break the law.

He said what he said. You are entitled to interpret as you please.

And you are entitled to interpret it in a foolish way that alienates swing voters and drives them right into Trump's arms, by buying into obvious hoaxes, and being The Boy Who Cried Racist.

Go ahead, you aren't pissing off Trump, you're playing right into his hands.

Hopefully those with post secondary education will fulfill their promise to get off their butts and go vote this time. In which case trump is a goner.

Not a relevant point. Politicians lie and embellish, why do think attacking Trump for things that all politicians do is the best anti-Trump material, and then when that doesn't work, you cry racist?

Like you are a parody of a Trump Hater by a right-wing troll who is deliberately creating as dumb of a Trump Hater as possible as a strawman, to demonize anyone who doesn't like Trump in general, except you actually believe it.

Another crazy general? Sounds almost as outraged as Jim Mattis.

So if your quite happy to listen to trump's endless lies and forgive him for them, tell us what he has actually done for the country. Don't try to flog the economy thing, and I'll get teh popcorn.

Look what happened in the mid terms.:P

We've been over that. Obama lost his first mid-terms far worse than Trump did, and beat Romney easily. Trump losing 40 seats is not a sign that he's going to lose in 2020, anymore than Obama's results in 2010 was a sign he'd lose in 2012. Yet you continue to cling to those mid-term results as proof Trump is done, you always assume Trump is done, especially when he isn't, so clearly you are a poor predictor of Trump's chances of winning or losing.

Owly assumes the American electorate agrees with owly, because Trump didn't win the popular vote and the Republicans didn't hold the House during the mid-terms, but none of those are indications that he'll lose in 2020. Bush was re-elected in 2004 despite not winning the popular vote in 2000, Obama won despite losing the House even worse than Trump during his first mid-terms.

Pure Wishful Thinking. Even if Trump did lose in 2020, it wouldn't be for the reasons that Owly thinks are the reasons.

Look up what Obama got accomplished in his first 2 years compared to trump.

But Obama won the popular vote both terms. Trump hasn't won it yet and very likely wont next time.

Even if Trump loses the popular vote again, who cares if he still wins the EC? Butthurt Democrats and their cheerleaders, but no one else.

Trump accomplished more than Obama in his first two years. The only thing Obama accomplished was a negative, Affordable Care Act for the fail, he blew all his political capital on that monstrosity, like a complete lightweight.

He has accomplished next to nothing by comparison, and Trump is about to can the ACA and tear millions of people away from healthcare and hasn't a friggin clue what he will replace it with.

That's a bonus in Trump's column, Obamacare is garbage. Obama accomplished nothing, but pissing away all his political capital, it wasn't a hard bar for Trump to clear.

What really saved Obama was killing OBL, and running against a chump like Romney.

And people who might like to have a fair voting system to pick their leaders.

Agreed....such persons cling to a future hope to erase the realities they got so wrong in the past....Trump's primary victories...Trump's GOP nomination...Trump's general election win...Trump's inauguration...Trump's exoneration for alleged "collusion".

They still want to get Trump so bad...it corrupts objective thinking....the very thing they accuse Trump of.

Donald Trump will forever be the 45th President of the United States, and there is absolutely nothing that will ever change that.

The EC is more fair, America is a republic and not a democracy for good reasons, the founders did that intentionally.

You might be a democracy nuthugger, but that isn't what's fair, so how about you stop preaching to remove something when you don't even know what it's for, or even what is?

Come back when you know a little bit of what you are talking about, instead of making a fool of yourself by talking out of your ass.

It's the gerrymandering of the ec by the gop that is not fair. But you probably have ignored that.

I'll give you a lesson on that one day when I have time.

The EC is not gerrymandered by either party. You don't even know what it is, you confuse the EC for the House of Representatives districts, which are gerrymandered, but that isn't the Electoral College, you just think it is, because you are talking out of your ass.

Only two states award their electoral votes by voting districts, and they are small states who don't often effect the elections outcome, if they ever made a difference. The other 48 award them based on the popular vote within the entire state. You don't know what the EC is.
