absofxxxinglutely! The American media is being heavily scrutinized, finally, for the piss-poor job it's done in not verifying/challenging statements made by Trump... just accepting them verbatim and publishing them as if they had credence - effectively acting as a PR-wing for Trump.

Oh please, there's any army of reporters looking for dirt on the guy CNN,NYT, Post and MSNBC etc. is almost entirely devoted to slagging him.

What have you seen these people do about Hillary? What abut her treatment of women? Why is Benghazi and the email scandal being downplayed. What about her role in Iraq? What about her actions in the Clinton presidency that has led to less employment and more blacks being imprisoned than ever before? One could go on and on about not only her character, but her many failures as a politician. Oh, did I mention the money, the Clinton foundation or the speaking engagements to wall street?

Yeah, none of that is as important as Trump calling Rosie a pig. Or, heaven forbid Trump gives a woman a bathing suit at a pool party - the horror!

What have you seen these people do about Hillary?

Yeah, sending out hidden emails is unimportant. If they were so unimportant, then why has she hidden them. If her speeches don't say anything, why are they hidden. It's only unimportant because MSNBC tells you so.

But, Is Trumps infidelity any more important than Bills? We don't care about that - do we?

Let's be honest, the only thing Hillary has going for her, is that she's a woman. Any male politician with her baggage would've been outed long ago. It's her only play and the Dems and their helpers are gonna play that for everything it's worth. She knows she has to keep the women vote, and if she does, that'll be all she needs. Their only play against Trump is to make sure women stay away from him and hide her record with women.

Trump lies constantly. It's not even open to debate. He's also a notorious adulterer. How he gets the balls to call Clinton an 'enabler' for her husband's cheating is beyond me, as is why he isn't called on his own adultery.

He didn't call her an "enabler" for Bill's cheating. She was called an "enabler," for trying to cover up Bill's sexual assault on women, and for harrassing/intimidating the victims from complaining.

Trump's past affair while married to Ivana was a huge scandal back then in the 80's. They can't use that anymore.

The parties involved have put it to rest a long time ago. Ivana even campaigns for Trump!

If the media has any proof of Trump's latest adultery (if there are any).....believe me, it'll be on the front pages of every newspaper. They'll milk it to death!

The NYT interviewed 50 women and obviously went with the 6 worst stories they could scare up. What did they get? At least one woman outraged over the misinterpretation (likely others) of Trump offing up a bath suit at a pool party. Trumps dad recommends steak over fish and Trump, we learn is one of the first to promote women to the highest positions in his company, meaning there is no "glass ceiling" in his company.

Wow, hard hitting stuff

PS. I think I'd recommend steak over fish too.

The only reason her detractors want the speeches is to tie her to Wall Street.I might not be a fan of Wall Street but I recognize that given the environment of super pacs and big money which the Republican party created and defends she really doesn't have much choice but to go to the wealthy corporations for money.

Is Bill Clinton running for president? I would consider the infidelity of any candidate to be important, but most particularly one who trumpets his family values and Christianity, as Trump does.

Let's be honest, the only thing Hillary has going for her, is that she's a woman.

I'm not a fan of Hillary, but she's still head and shoulders above the Trumpster, who has no class and no integrity, lies constantly, cheats on his wife, cheats on his taxes, has multiple bankruptcies in his past, and has admitted to dealing with the mafia.

Their only play against Trump is to make sure women stay away from him and hide her record with women.

Let's consider who Bill Clinton married - a tough, smart, savvy lawyer. Now let's consider who Trump has married -- three models, the current one over twenty years his junior. Clearly Trump has no interest in women as a partner, but more as an ornament for his arm and to strut around showing what a big he-man he is.

Isn't Trump attempting to use Bill Clinton's affairs from the same time period against his wife?

And what about his affairs when he was married to Marla Maples, who he divorced a couple of months before the time period in his prenup agreement would have awarded her a substantial amount of money and then married his twenty years younger mistress?

It's not about Bill's affair. It's about the sexual assault accusations! And it's about Hillary, intimidating and harrassing the women who complained.

As for Marla Maples....obviously the media thinks there's no legs to that. Otherwise, they would've used it already.

The anti-Trump media will use anything - including the sink - that they can throw to Trump.

They seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel if the only thing they can come up is a hatchet interview of women Trump allegedly "degraded," and Stewart's post retirement 15 minutes of fame, calling Trump a man-baby!

Not surprising, a lot of celebs - fading celebs - are trying to ride on the coat tails of the "hottie" politician.

That will be the day when the media gives Trump a free pass. It is just the reverse. Watching them every day on the news that is all the media does all day is attack and try to find some fault with the guy. If Trump sneezes, the media will try and blame him for spreading some kind of disease. Any body who believes what the mainstream lame duck media says needs to get checked out. They lie.It comes so natural to the media. :rolleyes:

The biggest liar here is Hillary. I wonder what else she is involved in that the establishment media try to keep covered up? Why Hillary or Bill are not in jail yet is beyond belief. I guess it helps when you have the elite establishment on your side. The elite establishment owns the media, and will only allow the media to report on what the establishment want their media to report on. That is how things work. Believe it or not.

Deeply religious, I don't know. But Donald Trump's mother was born on an island in the north of Scotland (near Stornoway, just like the OLO residence). She was a devout Presbyterian, by all accounts.

BTW, Pierre Trudeau's mother was also Scottish - but she was Catholic.

You like to categorize people into groups by religion or nationality and extrapolate their behavior from generalizations, but ascribing Trump great religious conviction on the basis of his mother's nationality is highly presumptuous. People abandon their parents' beliefs all the time, perhaps to join another religion or perhaps to become non-religious. If you think Scots are different in this respect, how do you explain plunging church membership in Scotland?
