One would have hoped that after the latest Islamic terror attack in America by the husband-wife team of Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, U.S. Islamic organizations would recognize it was time to condemn "jihad" itself and to stop playing the victim card.

However, that was too much to ask.

Last year, in the face of growing ISIS-inspired jihadi terrorism, the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) along with other American Islamic organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), formed the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) that hosted a National Muslim Leadership Summit on Sunday in Washington, D.C.

ICNA is a conservative Islamic group formed in 1968 by Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi followers of the Jamaat-e-Islami in North America. Their stated goal is "to seek the pleasure of Allah "¦ (for the) establishment of the Islamic system of life as spelled out in the Qur'an and the Sunnah (sayings) of Muhammad."

ICNA states in its 2010 members' handbook, "Wherever the Islamic movement succeeds to establish true Islamic society, they will form coalition and alliances. This will lead to the unity of the Ummah (Muslim nation) and towards the establishment of the Khilafah (the Caliphate)." More....

Great article written by some one that would know more about what is going on the certain poster here. But the lefty way of dealing with issues is to call anyone that has questions about this , a bigot or racist. That there ends the conservation and that is what they want. As you see in america, people are tired of these actions by the left and if trump wins, that will prove it. Even here in canada people are getting tired of the political correctness.

Why is it always the LEFT or RIGHT way of thinking?

I think of it more as the Wrong or Right way of thinking.

The problem is not 'terror' or 'Islamophobia' which is a word made up by Islamists and their fellow travellers (otherwise known as 'useful idiots'). The problem is the religious extremism which grips much of the Muslim world, and continues to grow worse.

I am convinced. I am afraid, very very afraid!

"They" are everywhere and there are lots more of "them" than there are of us.

Please, please - what can I do to save myself and family?

How much? What data are you referring to?

Yes, Yes I am convinced that terror is the problem - not Islamophobia.

What can I do about that terror?

Fighting proxy wars just don't cut it anymore.

It's long past time we finally buried our hatchets in one another and give the world a break.

Again, you like these phrases 'which grips much of the Muslim world' when you fail to understand the makeup of Muslims across the world. It's a tiring phrase that hopefully folks are also getting tired of hearing.

If you ask for any substantiation of these claims, the only response will be a long whine about how this board favours leftists and how they're all stupid and emotional.

I am not a partisan poster but I am an equal rights poster. Argue cannot dismiss me as a leftist.

If he can dismiss me as one, I'm pretty sure he can dismiss you as one.

Some of us are regarded as being left of Pol Pot. But interestingly enough I think they're correct.

Pol Pot's approach to governing was extremely conservative.

I think its patently obvious from the various surveys on Muslim world attitudes, and the repeated evidence and documentation of the tens of billions the Saudis have been spending around the world to spread the influence of Wahhabism, as well as the steady rise in "Islamiization' of Muslim countries and the rise of both terrorism and inter-communal violence that world Islam is becoming much more severe, intolerant and extreme.

I think the phrase is easily understandable by anyone NOT an ideologue, and supported by the facts and the variety of surveys of the Muslim world which have been posted here repeatedly.
