All problems on earth are due to the White race, and all others are as innocent children of Eden oppressed and enslaved by the evil Europeans (Whites). It's unfortunately common around here. What you imagine progressives think or how they view things is truly hilarious...until you realize how many people actually do imagine it - the point at which the sheer ignorance of it becomes disturbing. This probably explains the staggering amount of Islamophobia there is relative to astraphobia, a demonstrably more reasonable phobia given the numbers of relative deaths attributed to Islam and lightning in Canada. There are dozens of Muslim states across the world. Are there any which value equality and diversity? Are there any which are free and democratic and protect human rights? Are there any, not to put too fine a point on it, where it is illegal to rape or beat your wife? I think we can provide a safe place for people running away from such oppression. .

One of the problems lies in the fact that could involve hundreds of millions of people. A second problem is not all who want to come here from those areas have a problem with the oppression, really, so much as the poverty. Anyone, for example, who insists women have to cover their faces or hair so as to not inspire lust in men clearly has no issue with the ridiculous religious extremism since they share those beliefs, and simply wants to live in a wealthier nation. So the more of those who come here, the more Canada will come to resemble the places they left. In fact, I think it's mostly Muslims who feel that fear. Certainly it's mostly Muslims who act on it.

Are you saying Israelis who fear attacks from Muslim extremists are white and Christian? How about the black people in Nigeria being killed by Muslim extremists, or the blacks in Sudan, Rwanda, Malawi, Niger,Chd Dahomey, Senegal, hmmm? Are you serious or do you think if you make sweeping racist assumptions they are ok because they are against white Christians. Hmmm? Your comment about white Christians should be verbally attacked as you call it or as I call it, challenged. Atacked. Yah right.
