Some people will go to any length to get away from the disgusting political quagmire our society is floundering in.

Don't blame me, I voted for Harper!

Yes, I'm a play-tester over at Orbiter so I get to see it virtually quite a bit from LEO. Pretty!

Rome won't fall on my watch...lol. Et tu, Brute?

Anyways, Islamophobia is an entirely constructed term. Fear of the other is quite a rational thing rather than a phobia if it is justified across the globe daily.

What's today's winning country? Birkina Faso? Only 6 dead Canadians in that one. Hardly a tick on the ol' census. Hmmmm...just unlucky, I suppose.

It's just racist bullshit always has been and always will be.

Islam has the most to fear from it.

I think Mr Harper went 'whewwww' to himself when he lost. Now he can backbench and take long lunches. I just find it sad that Canada went for royalty and voted-in you-know-who. I have a few lizards that are smarter than this guy.

Yeah, having elected a high school drama teacher certainly wasn't the greatest idea by Canadian voters. Especially during rocky global times such as these. But it had been almost 10 years and voters naturally look for change. And Justin promised kittens and puppies for everyone. I suspect voters will course correct next time they're given the chance.

It's a race the way you pervert it.

No the perversion lays with the culture that treats women and children like property. But keep making excuses!

Islam is a religion and a legal system. Simple as that. You merely have to recite the Shahada (and mean it) and voila. You're a Muslim and now part of Islam. The fastest growing religion etc, etc.

The Quran states Islam's goal: http://quran.com/8/39

Calling me a racist won't change that.

Canada...for good or bad...tends to vote Liberal thinking it is in the Centre of the political spectrum when it often isn't. Plus, JT is the new and improved Pierre in the hope and change dept. But, I see old faces (and livers) in the background...not much will change in that regard. They probably know where Estonia is.

That's pretty much what's being noted. Grand movements like Feminism (and such) long ago hitched their individual purposes to a broader movement like Minority Rights which is now leaving things in a big conundrum. Who does one support first?

Consider this: in both the US and Canada, violent crime rates have been decreasing since the 1980s.

But not to the extent progressives like to pretend. In fact, people have been less and less inclined to report crime to police, which accounts for a good deal of the decline. Most criminologists say an older population accounts for the rest - less young stupid people around.

New challenge: Find information indicating that among ethnic neighborhoods in which Arab-Canadians (or Middle Eastern Canadians) predominant, there is a corresponding rise in crime.

Such information is not readily available. However, I can attest that all the highest violent crime neighborhoods in this city correspond to a high population of Somalians.

The stupidity and dishonesty comes from those who pretend that all cultures share our values.

literally no one has said that. Try engaging with what's actually posted as opposed to the straw men in your head.

Ok, I just gotta know, who here actually believes that Islam is a race? If nobody speaks up, I can assume people will stop using the word?

The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so. - Ronald Reagan

I have said that the Western world is just as violent as the Islamic world - Dialamah

Europe seems to excel at fooling people to immigrate there from the ME only to chew them up and spit them back. - Eyeball

Unfortunately our policies have contributed to retarding and limiting their (Muslim's) society's natural progression towards the same enlightened state we take for granted. - Eyeball

I've made a number of uncited claims in this thread, but I know that I can provide verification for what I've written. I didn't feel any need to provide links to support my claim of similar incidents in other German cities, but if anybody wants to dispute that claim, I know I can easily go find links to support it. If there are any specific claims you'd like me to provide cites for, I can do so if you wish.

you know... you just know! You don't feel a need! You can easily!

.

I think that making an uncited claim to easily verifiable information is quite different from posting out-of-date or incomplete information in an effort to present a misleading argument.

the article I referenced was 3 days old. The initial figures you provided were hardly a significant departure from those... then you later fire up googly just to find further updated data (that you didn't initially provide), while at the same time stating something along the lines of, "I sure didn't look very hard". But it must have been as hard as your initial search, hey! Of course, again, I was the first to provide any data qualification of any kind; prior to that all the phobes were free-wheeling it and making grandiose rapeRunningRampant type statements! And because I actually had the apparent audacity to attempt to frame the criminality in relation to (just) the 2015 immigrant registrations (the 1.1 million of them), I get tagged with, "being intellectually dishonest", "being deceitful", "purposely attempting to diminish the criminality".....

I'll ask you again, now for the third time: "You labeled my post, my initial numbers, "deceit by omission". I asked you to provide a label for everything previously stated by the thread phobes that had no reliance on any numbers to any degree/level... what kind of, as you say, "deceit" was that?

.

Did you not just claim that 1 million+ of the refugees were not engaged in criminality?

I already asked you how you liked those apples when I flipped a prior statement of yours where you stated, "Pointing out that just 0.1% of 2015 migrants were not at one particular crime scene does not support the conclusion that the remaining 99.9% are not engaged in criminality". Of course it wasn't a conclusion I made - that was yours that you wanted to attribute to me. As I said, following your lead, I could suggest that because 99.9% of 2015 migrants were not at particular crime scenes, that does not afford you the liberty to position and make sweeping assessments and statements as if they were!

and from that you somehow manage to come back with the statement I'm now quoting here - freakin' amazing! Was that my claim? Really? Here, let me do another flip of your continued intellectual dishonesty in attributing (your own) conclusions to me: "Did you not just claim that 1 million+ refugees were engaged in criminality?" Well did ya? Do you like this batch of apples any more than the other?

waldo already spoke to the scale of the attacks in relation to the hysterical conjecture by the talking heads in the media and the forum Islamophobes. If you've got something to contribute, then step up instead of making your usually Shady drive-by BS smears.

cyber! That you would even speak to "scale in relation to"... you're totally diminishing the criminality man! Why are you so accepting to assault and rape? /phobeOff

Well aware of the term. Another made-up phrase to excuse the type of behaviour seen by today's feminists who support Islam over woman's rights.

Don't worry sisters, as soon as these bearded gentlemen get their way, our freedom is soon to follow!

Exactly. It's only an issue when the perpetrator is white or Christian.
