The view commented on this and Whoopi, said she thought he was only an occasional crack users because he was so fat and other said why do Canadians of Toronto keep supporting this guy?? I think many people are getting sick of Ford and hopefully he can go and get help but it will take longer than the Oct. election to get clean and then will he be able to stay clean. Quote

How the unidentified substance fell into the pipe, what the unidentified substance was, how it came to be lit on fire, and how the other end of the pipe ended up in Ford's mouth is completely beyond the realm of speculation. cybercoma Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Rob Ford won't recover from rehab for several reasons. Crack is notoriously difficult to kick. The rehab program he's going to is only 30 days. Most of the really good ones are at the very least 90 days. Most importantly however are the people he's smoking crack with. His family. If he were truly prepared to change his life, he could. But having to come back home to family that's doing the same things he's doing, that's going to put him right back into that environment. Unless his family also gets help and miraculously they all manage to quit or Rob Ford completely disassociates himself with his sister at the very least, it's going to be next to impossible for him to stay clean. It's quite honestly a tragedy. He's wealthy and the mayor of Toronto. He has every advantage you could possibly have in society. Yet, he's hooked on crack and will likely never recover because he can never get away from it without disowning his own family. It's a terrible situation. He needs to quit politics, get out of the limelight and just focus on getting his life turned around. Sadly, he won't. He's too much of a megalomaniac. Quote
