Mighty AC Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Except for the part where, cancer or not, the guy is dumber than a bag of wet leaves. The man has no class and extremely poor character.I think similar words can also be said about anyone that would support him politically. Boges Posted July 8, 2015 Report Posted July 8, 2015 Good for RoFo! Those Lanes are a blight on the region. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/07/08/rob-ford-admits-using-hov-lanes-improperly Rob Ford is no fan of the Pan Am Games HOV lanes. Councillor Ford admitted Wednesday that he’s ignored the three-person vehicle occupancy rule and used the “pain in the rear end” lanes. “These HOV lanes are a complete disaster,” Ford said. “I know I see people just going down the HOV lanes and saying, ‘OK.’ Basically catch me if they can. There were a lot of people I saw that were by themselves.” Asked if he’s done that, Ford shrugged. “Me? I’ve gone on the HOV lanes,” he said. “Absolutely, I have. I have to get down here sometimes. “I’ll just go in and out obviously. You know you’ve got to watch the cops over your shoulder, just sort of bob and weave. Not just me, a lot of people have.” Quote
Boges Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 A "blight"? What do you mean? A Disease. Hyperbole I suppose, but these things are stupid. Quote
On Guard for Thee Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Things must be getting quite boring in Ontario these days if RoFO and HOV lanes are still news. Quote
Boges Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) HOV lanes are big news. They're associated with the Pan Am games that are going to cost multiple billions for a B or even C list athletic event. These HOV lanes are meant to impress the delegates while making the locals lives suffer. It shows the provincial government could give two flying bleeps about the people who live there. And anytime RoFo says anything, it's news. Edited July 9, 2015 by Boges Quote

Big Guy Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 Rob and his brother are endorsing Harper and Harper showed up for the party and had his picture taken with these "good old boys". http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/harper-downplays-ford-rally-after-explosive-allegations-revealed-in-new-book/article26825935/ WHAT IS HARPER THINKING? kimmy Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 A couple of my staunchly Conservative co-workers described the decision to bring in the Fords as "a giant brain-fart" and "f******g embarrassing", and one of them said that was the last straw that made him decide that he'd stay home and not bother voting. Excerpt from another account from Mark Towhey: Back in his office, Rob seemed to be coming down from a high. He grew morose and reminisced about his father. He broke into tears. Then he became angry, and started ragging on the “Liberal hacks” in his office. (Earl, Isaac, and Brooks are all members of Canada’s Liberal party; Ford is a staunch Conservative.) Without warning, Ford became violent. He pushed Earl off a couch and onto the floor, then loomed over him with his arm cocked and fist clenched, threatening to strike him. When the others protested, Rob turned his wrath on Brooks. He charged him with his left hand out, grabbed him by the collar, and slammed him into the wall, right arm pulled back ready to punch him. The staffers got him to back off and calm down, but the atmosphere was electrically charged. At some point (exact times are hard to pin down, but everyone agrees on what happened), Olivia Gondek, the senior policy and council liaison, who managed much of the mayor’s agenda on council, arrived in Rob’s office to pick something up. Sensing imminent trouble, she stayed to help the staffers. Rob, by now completely blotto, began speaking to her in a sexually harassing and inappropriate manner. He was describing in explicit detail what he’d like to do sexually with her. Olivia had been Rob’s executive assistant while he was a councilor; she knew him better than most of us. She also knew how to shut him up, and was one of the few members on staff who wouldn’t tolerate any crap from him. She sharply rebuked him and stopped him cold, then told him he was drunk and should go home to his wife, Renata. Rob sat down like an embarrassed little boy. Boges Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) So Rofo has another tumour. I know he's still a sitting member of council but would media care about a former mayor's health status to the point that they do if he wasn't such a controversial figure? If he does end up losing this battle it'll be fascinating to see all the people that have had such a visceral hate for the man try to show some sort of empathy. Edited October 29, 2015 by Boges Quote
The_Squid Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 He's a complete idiot and a horrible mayor that used taxpayers money for his own personal purposes. He brought disrepute on the city and the country with his crack smoking and crazy racist diatribes while he was in a drunken, drug-addles stupor. I can say those things without hating him or wanting him dead. Quote

Big Guy Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 Looks like Rob Ford is not doing very well: "Rob Ford is currently in hospital "with his family beside him" as he continues receiving treatment for cancer, a statement from his office said Thursday. The Ford family thanked the many Torontonians who have wished the current Ward 2 councillor and former mayor well in recent weeks, but requested privacy at this time, the statement said." Boges Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 So apparently the media completely ignored that and sent reporters down to the hospital. Lame. Quote
Topaz Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 As a person who been affected by cancer from friends and relatives that have died, Ford has a very hard up hill battle to survive HIS cancer because it started in his fat cells and Ford has too many fat cells. Miracles do happen and Ford needs one. Quote

We are so grateful for all the support for him from all over the world it is incredible!! We want to thank the Doc’s and Staff at the hospital they all have been amazing.” Palliative care means he's pretty much on his way out right? Quote
Guest Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Palliative care means he's pretty much on his way out right? It really just means care dedicated to the relief of pain or symptoms. Since he is receiving this type of care and his family is at the hospital full time, it would appear that he is on his way out. Quote
