Maybe they'll criticize the conservatives for how he was handled (poorly) but even the NDP isn't dumb enough to support some kid who tossed a grenade at some US soldiers. Just wait for the day he is released, it will be very intertesting. So how long before he is released, 3-6 months or less? Or can we make stay in jail for a couple more decades. That's right, Omar's treatment has a lot more to do with issues between the governed and government - the top and bottom or libertarian vs authoritarian. As for the issues between the left and right, I'm more interested in knowing why so much more of the right is so much more supportive of authority.
