FURTHERMORE: Obama will never be and can never be a Martin Luther King. King with his non-existant personal security was willing to sacrafice his very life for what was right! Whoopi, on The View, talked about this today and she said there's nothing wrong with the word negro and that what Reid said was understanding true, in a sense. If Obama had looked a deeper shade, had longer thicker hair and talked with a negro dialect, he wouldn't have gotten elected in AMERICA. He came across as a very good speaker and very intelligent and down to earth and going up against Bush, made him a shoe in!

I've seen Reid in action for a very, very long time (since Elvis' 1968 comeback - as a resident of Nevada). This is not his first "PC" screw up...going back to when "Negroes" were welcomed in the hotel kitchens but not the casino floor on the Las Vegas Strip.

Where do you get these guys? Reid is a negro that should have been kept as a field hand and not allowed to work near or in the big white house..Those days are gone - the so-called negros are all turning white because of the chance of climate..no it's not because of inter breeding..it is because blacks are really white people underneath ...as a little red neck boy I was astounded when I saw that the flat of their hand was white...or maybe we are just paled out blacks...I do have a few age spots that if I lived long enough would make me black --- besides.. who really cares...Ried sounds a tad stupid but someone elected him...I wonder who the original voters were?

Mr. Obama is not the first black POTUS candidate, successful or not..."light skinned" or not...absent "Ebonics" or not. Reid's comment is a devastating snapshot of the long held perspective of the Democratic Party leadership and their welfare state cotton fields.
