Blacks like the Jews are waiting for a messiah that will never come because he has already been. King was the KING! He did not have a huge staff of PR guys and speech writers...He was a great intellect and a man of great true spirit..not just for blacks but for all humanity. Obama when push comes to shove is as selfish a white as Hillary Clinton - an ambitious idealog who really has no concern nor do they have the intellectual and spiritual capacity to bring about good and positive change...No acedemic or lawyer who has entered public service has ever brought about anything good - How can they when all they do is repeat history over and over again because they will never have a daring original thought. Martin Luther King...was a man! A hero who understood the concepts of rebelion though passive resistance - He was a Christ..He would never send off blacks and whites to die for imperialistic causes. Michael Hardner Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) Way to try and change the subject. Glenn Beck isn't my ideal. I've never once referenced him in any post or thread. As per punked's link above: You can mock Glenn Beck all you want, but name one thing he said that wasn't true. You can't. Ok, I missed AWs post above. Even more examples there. Bizarre, why would one repudiate someone whom one put faith in and then forget all about it ? Mr.Canada Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 According to your ideal Glenn Beck the Term Negro is the proper Scientific term. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2010/01/08/2010-01-08_glen_beck_africanamerican_a_bogus_pc_madeup_term_not_a_race.html Scientifcally, the black race is termed negroid. I remeber seeing commercials on TV when I was a kid for the "United Negro college fund" So they call themselves that so who cares? It's always uppity liberal whites who make a big deal about this. Topaz Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Whoopi, on The View, talked about this today and she said there's nothing wrong with the word negro and that what Reid said was understanding true, in a sense. If Obama had looked a deeper shade, had longer thicker hair and talked with a negro dialect, he wouldn't have gotten elected in AMERICA. He came across as a very good speaker and very intelligent and down to earth and going up against Bush, made him a shoe in! Quote

Guest American Woman Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Then why is Senator Reid and his surrogates falling over themselves with apologies? First of all, because in this political climate, PC trumps the truth. Secondly, if you really need it spelled out for you, it's because of the partisan 'criticism' that's made it a political issue. Oleg Bach Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! Thats it in a nut shell - America wanted a stupid nation that would without question strample upon the rest of the world though the dehumanization of all others - and NOW - there is blow back ...a type of cultural implosion...You have a place where 80 of your population be it black or white - have the same vocabulary as the dog and just about as many words also. I heard a dumb CNN moderator refere to rioting blacks in France as African Americans...they have never been to America just as the negros in America have never been to the continent of Africa - most think that it's a country. This problem regarding this new dialect...as refered to by Ried is easily understood and I will repeat myself - America's only hope in having the support of it's common people in the pilaging of other people was to teach the citizens that they do not exist...They don't even know where Iraq is after all this time....JERRY JERRY JERRRRRY! Nonsense....Reid put his own tits in the wringer and now he needs a little help from his friends to get them out, lest he die from Trent Lott disease. I've seen Reid in action for a very, very long time (since Elvis' 1968 comeback - as a resident of Nevada). This is not his first "PC" screw up...going back to when "Negroes" were welcomed in the hotel kitchens but not the casino floor on the Las Vegas Strip. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Guest American Woman Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 (edited) It's not nonsense at all. What he stated is the truth, but heaven forbid we cross PC boundaries and speak the truth. Fact is, it's all about partisan politics; the conservatives criticizing Reid for this don't utter a word of protest when it's Republicans being outright racist. And it's the Republicans making a big deal of this that is forcing Reid "fall all over himself with apologies." Edited January 12, 2010 by American Woman Quote
sharkman Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 Two things: Can you all imagine the hissing, screeching and freaking out that Whoopi would have done had the author of the negro dialect been Palin? I would actually pay money to see that. The race mongers on the left(Jessie and Sharpton among others) have become laughable when you compare their response of this to the Imus comment about nappy headed hoes. At least the left is never boring. Quote

Reid is a negro that should have been kept as a field hand and not allowed to work near or in the big white house..Those days are gone - the so-called negros are all turning white because of the chance of climate..no it's not because of inter breeding..it is because blacks are really white people underneath ...as a little red neck boy I was astounded when I saw that the flat of their hand was white...or maybe we are just paled out blacks...I do have a few age spots that if I lived long enough would make me black --- besides.. who really cares...Ried sounds a tad stupid but someone elected him...I wonder who the original voters were? "Success" would be the key word in my response, though, as that's what Reid's comment was in regards to -- and I think you already knew that. Oleg Bach Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 ONE mispoken phrase by one elected offical and a thousand jounalist along with 100 supposed public service workers get fixated ..not to mention the mental energy of a few million people being wasted on this incident when again there are more pressing issues at hand...THAT is the problem - It's like trying to deal with ten kids in a house hold about who is supposed to do the dishes - and they argue about the simple task for hours and it never gets done...The media motivated political system is broken.
