Shady Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Looks like ABC News has also picked up on the Van Jones story... White House Declines to Say Van Jones Enjoys "the Confidence of the President" Asked if controversial White House official Van Jones continues to enjoy the confidence of President Obama given recent revelations about his involvement with those who suggest the Bush administration knew about the 9/11 attacks and allowed them to happen in order to justify a war for oil, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs Friday morning would only say "he continues to work in this administration." Jones, the Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, last night issued a statement apologizing for past controversial remarks and said a petition which he signed suggesting that President Bush "may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen" perhaps to justify war in Afghanistan or Iraq, "does not reflect my views now or ever." An administration source said Jones says he did not carefully review the language in the petition before agreeing to add his name. But this morning it became known that Jones was on the organizing committee of a 2002 march making similar insinuations and allegations. How long before Van Jones is throw under the bus ala Rev. Wright? Quote

You might enjoy it.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/06/v...r_n_278277.html Unfortunately for Obama, Van Jones is a radical that the American people just can't accept as a Czar in the White House. I'm glad he's gone. But he never should have been appointed to that position in the first place. Good riddance Van! Feel free to leave America as well, since you seem to hate it so much. A-hole. I mean Cheney can tell people to "go fuck themselves" but this guy can't say bad things about Republicans. Obama better watch out because this keeps up he will lose the progressive vote. Democrats are not above eating their own. It wasn't the "saying bad things" about Republicans. It was saying things like... "We've never seen a Columbine done by a black child'... Only 'Suburban White Kids' Shoot Up Schools..." Breitbart And... "George Bush is like a crackhead tyring to lick a crackpipe for a fix." And... Organized protests in support of cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal SF And...Then there's the whole truther situation... Controversial Obama Administration Official Denies Being Part of 9/11 "Truther" Movement, Apologizes for Past Comments A top environmental official of the Obama administration issued a statement Thursday apologizing for past incendiary statement and denying that he ever agreed with a 2004 petition on which his name appears, a petition calling for congressional hearings and an investigation by the New York Attorney General into "evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur." Van Jones, the Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, is Number 46 of the petitioners from the so-called "Truther" movement which suggests that people in the administration of President George W. Bush "may indeed have indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war." ABC News So seriously? How is a guy like this qualified for a position related to energy and jobs? It's only the far-left position that he resigned because he said bad things about Republicans. Quote

gc1765 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Sort of like when radio stations refused to play the Dixie Chicks' music, eh? Those damn Left intolerant socialist Bush supporters! Or when Republicans didn't want Obama to speak to school children because he was going to try to brainwash them with socialism. gc1765 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Letterman's top ten is usually not very funny...they should really change it to a top 3. Another fine example of "Typical... intolerant socialists, [who] do not like what someone has to say [so] they try and silence them. I may not agree with what you say but I will defend your right to say it, the lost mantra of the left buried with their moral compass." In fact, I think this is one of the best examples to date. ironstone Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 I'm just watching Glenn Beck here,it's Saturday night,9pm.He shows a clip from MSNBC.The clip shows some guy from the back and it shows on his waist some guns that he's wearing to some rally, perhaps concerning the health care debate,I didn't catch all of it.Then they go back to the studio and the MSNBC talking heads are implying how racist it is for anyone to show up to these events carrying guns. Then Beck shows some footage from a FOX cameraman of the same guy,but this time from the waist up.Sure enough he's carrying a gun.....but.....it's a black guy! Wow!They flat out lied and selectively edited this footage to fool their viewers.Just like the New York Times killing the ACORN story all over again. They are not satisfied to report the news as it actually happens, but they are willing to lie and fabricate in order to push the leftist agenda.Scary stuff.
