8 BIL in foreign aid, 12.3 in foreign assistance would be enough to really make an impact on our health care system....or dental care or pharma care....lots of places that NEED extra funding in Canada....lets fix "US" before we pretended to fix them https://globalnews.ca/news/10519367/canada-foreign-aid-oecd-report/ https://www.international.gc.ca/transparency-transparence/international-assistance-report-stat-rapport-aide-internationale/2023-2024.aspx?lang=eng#a1_3

Like i said and support with a few sources....Justin approved 2 pipelines the rest were made impossible due to liberals bill 69, which leaves many pipelines in the air today....why is that so hard to believe.... Yes bring up notley an NDP premier who also a climate crises fanatic who was in favor of keeping oil and gas in the ground....Justin and extraordinary leadership do not even go together....and if you believe that this conversation is not worth carrying on...
-
Again you offer nothing ,no sources no facts no nothing....your just screaming nothing more than opinion right now....which is a liberal tactic....yell it often enough and loud enough and they will believe you.....sound familiar....great reset is but one chapter in the entire book....but keep trying...Carney is not teflon Trudeau, shit is going to stick to him... It seems your the only one crying and moaning like someone took your favorite play toy away....Guys like you don't bother me your a bully....nothing more... Come on scream louder i'm way over here....and i'm the one that looks like a fool....your a troll, you thrive on the ability to yell and dance around like a mor0n it makes you feel superior somehow, you need counseling....is what you need...i got a number you can call....

No biden is neither of those things, but it goes against what you had said, Biden refused to approve the permits, so no pipelines....even if TC energy want to build it... Northern gateway was canceled by justin tredeau....it is right in the headline of my source.... https://globalnews.ca/news/3094856/northern-gateway-pipeline-line-3-approval-announcement/ Business did not want to becasue of c-69 , that and how hard liberals made it to get oil and gas to market....Germany and the rest of Europe could be burning Natural gas right now if it had not been for the liberals....there is lots of money in it....why would the carney liberals say they would build pipelines....if there was no money in it... Ya sure indigenous s canceled all of them. Article content Project: Frontier Oilsands Mine Cost: $20.6 billion Company: Teck Resources Ltd. Article content The proposed oilsands mine in northern Alberta was expected to produce 260,000 barrels of oil per day. It was cancelled by the proponent over the weekend amid a major fight between Ottawa and Alberta over climate change issues, a lack of pipeline capacity and low oil prices. The project was expected to push up Canadian carbon emissions and was opposed by environmental groups, but enjoyed the support of many First Nations in the region. Project: Northern Gateway Cost: $7.9 billion Company: Enbridge Inc. The proposed pipeline to bring oil from northern Alberta to a port in Kitimat B.C. was approved by Stephen Harper’s government in 2014, but was quashed by a Federal Court of Appeal two years later. It was rejected by the Liberal government in 2016. the rest were canceled becasue the federal government policies made it to hard to continue...hence why Bill c-69 is the anti pipeline bill...who wants to do business with a country that does not want it to...it cost to much...One on the list was canceled because of indigenous concern and they don't have the power to cancel anything that comes from the province or feds... Re read those links

Keystone was canceled by Biden.... https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/09/energy/keystone-pipeline-canceled/index.html Northern gate way was canceled by the Liberals see source below... https://globalnews.ca/news/3094856/northern-gateway-pipeline-line-3-approval-announcement/ Lets not even mention Justin canceling Natural gas refineries and pipelines as there is no business case for them...when Germany came hat in hand begging for gas...how many more do you want....because there is more... https://financialpost.com/commodities/energy/scrapped-nearly-150-billion-worth-of-energy-projects-shelved-in-canada https://energynow.ca/2025/02/canada-badly-misjudged-the-future-of-lng/ https://www.canadaaction.ca/northern-gateway-pipeline-cancellation-facts

Ya, conservatives did all that...puff puff pass...

again your spinning this ....i said mark Carney was Justins advisor and i'm sure justin ran a lot of things past him, a lot of his dumb ideas that made it into liberal policy had to been in that preview...your saying now of that can't be proved....but i'm saying it is highly likely...not many good ideas came out of the liberal government under justin...so it is not that big of a leap... I'm not making any assumptions you are,you are assuming mark Carney had nothing to do with any of those things, just another example of mr big brain with a PHD that has not gotten favorable reviews... .....his name is all over these things... once again you have failed to back up any of your opinions with ANY sources , your here to inform others of YOUR opinions, and f*ck them if they don't see it your way....and when you fail to convince anyone of anything your revert to degrading them....
-
Approved one pipeline, canceled dozens of other that is quit a record, your touting....what other things did sparkle socks give Canada....that list has got to be huge...
-
Canadians have not been so divided than in any time in our history, shit the left and right can barely talk to each other on this forum, let alone across the country, now add in the thousands of other groups english /french/ quebec/ ROC, religion vs others, the list goes on forever....western canada is just one group on the list....Carney has a mountain to climb...to solve all of that....
-
Thanks for the chirp, not sure what to do with it, it adds nothing to the conversation, but you go girl... No shame, just a lot of distrust Time will tell whether you made the right choice or not....i'm happy with my choice
-
If you don't know what advice was given ,then how can you sit there and tell readers that Carney did not have any influence over Justin decisions....YOUR assuming any advice was beneficial for the country....when very few of Justin decisions were good for the country...YOUR the one being dishonest here, when odds are Carney did give justin a lot of advice, and not all of it was good... Whatever suits your argument, it's all you ever have is assumptions..... make sure you order both books, let me know how what you think of the contents...I have not read the bottom book, as i can hardly choke down the first book. Mark Carney: The Unelected Power Broker of the 21st Century: Power, Policy, and the Architecture of Global Capital Mark Carney; Values: Building a Better World for All
-
So you're agreeing that Carney was advising Justin.... Once again your pulling sh!t out of your ass, ...your good at it i'll give you that....i personally don't care if you read it or not, it would not matter anyways, you would already have a million excuses for what carney wrote anyways...

No you laid out how it "could" be down.....So it is possible....according to your own source... -
You must "know" as you continue to state Carney had NO effect on justins policies or thought processes.... I just assuming that if you hire a advisor your listen to that advice and incorporate it into your decisions....that would require common sense which justin did not have and it seems you do not either....if you don't listen to him or take his advice carney gets a free meal ticket for doing nothing that's what you're implying .... It would be common sense to assume carney had a role to play, in Justins decisions...but since we're talking about the new liberal king, your nose blind to anything slanderous about him....he was on Justins team....the same team that screwed up the nation , now your saying for the 4 or 5 years Carney was on the team he did nothing , nor did he distance himself from the team....just collected his pay check and did nothing...thats the guy you voted for... Your not going to read the book, your just going to wait for it all to unfold when it happens....because that's not how you roll your already made up your mind,....but somehow don't have any sources to back up your side of this debate, just opinion

Your statement lays out the path to secession....Alberta/Quebec has a referendum with a clear question, once it passes the requirements set out by canada, then both parties sit down and discuss separation and what it looks like....SO it can be done just follow the rules laid out in your statement. If it was mission impossible why is there a bloc party in Quebec, why is the federal government not interested in slaming quebec for items like language laws, religious symbol laws , Is all that just for votes.....why is it ROC bends the knee for quebec, i mean if theirs is NO secession why bother...your basically saying it can't be done, and yet Quebec has tried at least twice to do so....I got that number for that truck driving school, i heard they are looking for guys like you.... -

Again do your own research.... It is the start to one....where do you think Ottawa is going to get the money to give to the western provinces.... Ya right it is... Do you think Alberta has asked them....they don't care what you think, they are concerned about the western provinces... Why is it Quebec can make demands about secession and not Alberta....Quebec was not going to secede any borders..and neither is Alberta unless it is beneficial for alberta...The constitution already has a clauses in it for secession... it is not Canada's choice it is any province that wants to leave....what do you think is going to happen if for whatever reason alberta leaves....BC will have choices to make it will be cut off from the ROC....just like the maritimes did when Quebec had their vote...What do you think the US will do if alberta separates....they will offer them citizenship it will be trumps wet dream..... Alberta has already warned Canada, this is not something they dreamed up yesterday....this has been in the works for some time.....And if Carney does not pay attention, that day will come Alberta separates and the rest will fall like dominoes... -

The lack of contrast is your opinion, not mine....Time will tell how well Carney will do, but right now he has really done nothing.....big brain economics PHD who wants to spend 130 bil in his first year, and then invest another 500 bil in the next 5 years...invest heavily in green tech and green projects much like the last liberal government which proved one huge waste of money....not to mention his plans to tariff any nation goods that do not have a carbon plan...which includes our largest trading partner....how is any of that a smart big brain phd idea when our nation already has 1.2 trillion in debt. -
Yes you are, Why have an advisor if your going to pass on anything he advising....what was Carney job again...your being dishonest if you are trying to say that Carney did not have an effect on justins policies... you should be singing us a break... I take it you did not, you should it might give you some insight into this guy... Right....and everything carney suggested is the right direction for the country, according to you....to me it means more hardship, in most areas....I'm dumbfounded you can't see that...

Do some research, Alberta is already trying to leave the CPP and start it's own retirement plan Alberta's share comes to 20 % of the total package, along with BC. Alberta, Sask, Man are also looking to form a western union for CPP plan....This alone would collapse the CPP plan for all Canadians left in the union... Alberta has talked to the western provinces about leaving the union of Canada...Smith has already warned about this before the election, and most canadians refuse to believe her....What do you think BC is going to do if it is cut off from the rest of Canada.... -
Hey fruit cake, you do know that toronto has more seats than the entire atlantic provinces...along with most of the major city centers....if you have problems with math i'll help you...Atlantic canada has 32 seats, ontario has 122, Quebec...78 want to blame the liberal win on someone talk to those provinces... https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en/party-standings

Army Guy replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Last time the west talked about separation it was BC, Alberta, Sask,Man....all the western provinces....it's a large block of canadians...Alberta is already in progress of making separation much easier....and if they go the entire nation of Canada will cease to exist....who is going to support Quebec....and the atlantic provinces...Canada will be a dream we once had and could not satisfy everyone in the union....You can sing the star spangled banner...right....thats is what is at stake, if we can't come together as one nation....it is mission impossible....we are to divided.... -
Typical leftist remark...we can't even treat ourselves with respect in regards to human rights....see indigenous people for one, the list goes on and on....and now you want to force something we can not do, on the chinese, you guys make me laugh and talk from both sides of your face. ....Just becasue we trade with China does not mean they give a rats a$$ about our nation, it is a business transaction....don't you remember the two Michaels....if anything we should be moving away from china, moving our manufacturing to another country like india....oh wait Canada screwed that relationship up as well....

What happens next to the Conservative Party?
Army Guy replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well they weren't very reliable conservatives as you say they where, if they let their hate for PP , over shadow what they liberals did or did not do in the last 9 years....and with the same team, same players under one of the same coaches...what could go wrong....where do you see the hope in that ? i somehow hope your right about carney, but my gut is saying it is going to the same as under justin....not sure how canadians can not see that.... -
Should someone unelected lead a political party?
