  1. It's not about what is right or wrong with other people, it is the left side of the spectrum that forces it on the general public. I'm curious what infrastructure or fiscal issues had the liberals concentrated on during Justin's rein of terror, ya so much for the conservative comments....when the liberals can not even live up to your standards....and if it had not been liberal policies that allowed men into women's washrooms or into women's sports this would not be an issue would it...and Yes the liberals should have stuck to governing instead into people personal lives...
  2. I see you meet the forums local ho....she is very special...to bad they discontinued that model, they did not say why, but i'm sure its a good reason...
  3. First off who wears valor any more, with exception of those that bat for the other team, second, Carney fights like a girl, very unmanly of him.....every meeting they have had on the media Carney has done everything with the except of getting on his knees, and begging for more tariffs....Maybe carney should take lessons from will smith...
  4. Why, liberals have sent our nations soldiers into battle more than any other party, think about that , they are also the party that has slashed military funding the most....and never did they have an issue with sending troops into harms way....Not many members of the military support liberal's my guess would be more than 90% are conservatives...for the reason they are not very supportive of our military.... Every war is a war of choice....and we have been in most of them, even when the liberals said they would not support it....we had troops in combat....if it meant a photo op they were send in the troops...So it has a lot to do with the liberals...I'll say this again we had nothing to do with starting any of the conflicts we have been involved with, your beef is that this is a trump conflict....and everything trump is bad...well the US is our closet allied...Trump does not play a card here...the closing of the straight is a global crises, and it is effecting more than just the price at the pumps it is effecting global trade... We have been asked, Trump has asked every NATO nation to step up....and not very many are stepping up...And if the US jumps out of NATO , how much do you think we will be paying for defense then, it will cost us a lot more than Carney is willing to pay...we do have mine sweepers, and frigates to escort ships...we also have F-18's to patrol from the air.... If your not surprised why even discuss it, it will happen but not before it bites us in the A$$, we could have ben one of the first to step up....with a small contribution....and it might have paid off in huge awards at the future CUSMA talks...Canada could not contribute in any real large way....Iranian forces are more modern than ours....It is the same thing over the last 2 conflicts we were involved with...with the exception of the Afghanis, hard not to have a better equipped force than a bunch of goat headers...this is not about principles , its about the condition of our forces....not that any of that matters with the liberals... He beat us down....you mean he verbally assaulted you...at best....shit i got worse downtown in Toronto after a leaf's game...are you really that soft...do you think Canada was the only nation to be berated....even your man Carney said we got the best deal globally....what is the problem....you should be happy Trump got Carney elected...you can't have it both ways.... The men in black have been watching you and the rest of BC for a long time now...did you stare into the pen again....
  5. Sure you do you...i see it has been working out for the country
  6. We did not cause climate change, or the Boar war, , WWI, WWII, Korea war, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan or for that matter any global crises....But we as a nation managed to step up and helped the fix the issue... You can sit here and sulk, and point fingers at who is responsible and pay the man at the pumps or we as a nation Can step up and fix a global issue that effects most of the planet...and at the same time get rid one of the most evil empires in our time...I know it is a lot for a liberal voter to mule over and as per usual we will let some one else fix the problem for us.... To be honest Not to many governments have put going to war of entering a conflict to a vote, at least not down to our level, at least none of them that I've been sent to...And i doubt very much you'd change your liberal vote if they do act...
  7. People have been bragging about our Halifax frigates for decades now...they went to the gulf war , even had air defense Man pads put onboard , by some air defenders , we also have mine sweepers...CF-18 to fly CAP, it's funny when we talk about military capabilities and what they are capable of.... Here is a chance to prove we either have a military force capable of doing it's job....or we don't and should be embarrassed of the state of our current military limitations. And if we are not willing to deploy them because of the lack of equipment then we meaning all of us, should step up and demand action..... not in 2030, 2035 but today....or we start using the highway of hero's again because we as a nation are to cheap to protect our young men and women... which as been the plan for decades now...
  8. I'm very aware of the armies, new shuffling around the chess pieces, to make it look like new structure, and new strategy but really that's all it is, moving the chess pieces around, even though they are the same chess pieces that do not give us any new capabilities, or strengths, look at it, making a maneuver element, then a huge logistical element, we had all of that for decades it is the same pig with new paint... As for doctrine, the only thing that has changed is the North has been given a larger role, and new attention. Take a deeper dive into the investments that will be made like new highways , new infra structure that are duel purpose like indigenous and military applications.....and yes there is some equipment and military infra structure mixed in there, but like i said before Everyone and their dog is jumping on board this military restructuring train and they want a piece...this is two targets with one stone...Not say it is a bad plan, but there is a lot to unpack and it is not all military driven...that's just how it is being sold How is the new equipment any different from what we had...F-18 replaced with F-35, Halifax frigates replaced by Type 26, old subs being replaced by new subs...LeoIIA4M/6M Canada is looking at the new LeoIIA8...New SPA systems being looked at, new Air defense platforms being looked at, I see a pattern here, old stuff being replaced by much newer stuff, very little new stuff is being introduced....drones...other than that same stuff different packaging... That is one way to look at it, what i see is one of the worlds largest terrorist networks being dismantled, i see it as the US doing us all a favor...I see after Iran is finished, then stability to the region will come...and for that i would gladly pay extra at the pump, and i would gladly support trumps war...Most of Canada is bi!ching at the price of gas....we over look that Iran is responsible for most of the terrorism in that region, most of the instability of the region, this is not their first time using the straight as a hostage.... Canadians would rather all of that go about it's business than pay extra at the pump...hoping it does not effect us at home....well surprise MFer here it is, pay the man at the pump... and be inconvenienced, than get rid of one of the globes terrorist puppets masters... You can sit at home and bi!ch, and do nothing to fix the problem and continue to pay at the pump....or do the adult thing and assist in fixing the issue opening up the straight and paying less at the pumps...
  9. NO it is 40 cents a liter right now, including all taxes including gst/hst, carbon taxes, and all the other taxes that make upon a price of Canadian gas at the pumps...well all of it is already spent....in fact they plan to over spend by how much this year ?...ya it is some what embarrassing...a banker that can not stay on budget...also a man who is already surpassing Justin's deficits and by the end of his term will have push the deficit into record numbers....blowing past Trudeau record by a land slide...Got to be proud of that right ? I didn't say you did say anything about provincial taxes, i added that in...
  10. The military already has defined all the capabilities, remember this equipment is replacing our old and obsolete equipment...very few are new capabilities....the Military still runs and operates on doctrine for high intensity warfare....all thats change is the equipment is updated.... We ran a complete competition on track IFV years ago, the only thing that has changed is there is a few new players in the market and some products have been updated...the need is still there...Doctrine remains the same, and we have what we have in inventory right now is because it was chosen by politicians...not because it was cool or the military wanted a specific item (which happens rarely) Government needs and the military need rarely align, and government needs always win...I could give dozens of examples of equipment that was purchased by government that turned out to be crap, LSVW, MLVW, TAPV, LAV III, as just a few...but also lets add to that all the stuff we kept well past they due date....9MM pistols, F-18's, Frigates, leopard tanks, the list goes on and on, only because we were to cheap to buy new stuff...Most if not all of the equipment we buy is already been on the market for years...and the so has everything you need to know about sustainment and maintenance for a wide variety of countries that would be willing to share that info.... There are a few examples of procurement moving at light speed...when needed, C-17 transport aircraft, Leopard IIA4M /6M purchase or lease, G wagons, M777 purchase so the blue print is there...and if ever there was a case it would be now, our equipment is well past it's due date of it numbers are way to low...There is no reason, that if the government wanted to it could lite a fire under DND ass, and there could be contracts signed in the near term...As much of the research has already been done by Canada or by other closer allies...The sub program is an example of how fast we can go....that and the current subs being retired soon is also a huge motivator... In our case we know what we need , almost everything....and in a good majority of the cases we have dozens of allies that already operate this equipment, with many being artic nations as we are....we could cut the red tape and use this info to guide us into making sound decisions....sounds a lot better than letting politicians pick equipment out due to kick backs
  11. Yes it is and there is a lot of pavement in the world today...All that is needed for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing....that's Canada right now... So you were ok with the status quo, being good with Iranian government slaughtering their citizens, spreading terrorism around the region, and killing thousands...and now holding the world hostage as they have a hissy fit over being forced to comply ......and this is the country you think should have a nuke....Not sure why I'm asking even Carney can not make up his mind who's side he is on...and his government certainly does not know either... If we are not going to assist in opening the strait then we forfeit the right to complain about how high the fuel prices get... No we will sit back on our asses and wait until someone else does it....
  12. Well considering almost 40 cents per liter is taxes, levied by the liberals , not counting the industry carbon prices which are folded into the price as well....This is not about the reducing emissions it is about creating a cash cow for the feds...same as the price on booze/ cigs ...is is all about the taxes they collect to pay for all these social programs created by the liberals...got nothing to do with reducing usage or consumption... The government does influence the price of fuel, through taxes, and levies.....and on a provincial level NB freezes the price once every week so it does control the price every week.
  13. I do have an issue with CBC, being a tax funding organization that is bias towards the left, hard to get news that is not tainted towards the left..... Sorry to disappoint i don't watch those either...
  14. It might not have an effect on the raw price of a barrel of oil, but it sure does have a huge effect on what we pay at the pumps.... CBC is a liberal media outlet...it does what it is told to do by it's masters, very few journalists working inside CBC have report the news with out bias....
  15. My father used to say it takes all kinds to form a village.....But the NDP are on the fringes of Wackidoodles, not only in Sask, but the entire party...and people wonder why Canada is so broken...
  16. No,it is good your optimistic, just right now the facts do not support your case....Sales are down globally...so i don't think this all about trump....
  17. I believe that if your a dick eventually someone is going to push your face in....in this case murdering tens of thousands of it's citizens, plus sponsoring terrorism around the middle east those actions are catching up to them.... What i can't understand is why your supporting these thugs....it time you really look at your citizenship papers and decide are you an American or just another fake citizen that takes advantage of everything the US has to offer, but does not want to give anything back....there are millions around the world that would pay to switch places with you... And I'm the Narcissist, your funny... sorry but you being on the left side of the scale and fit every one of those symptoms
  18. 1.....No Canada signed an agreement to meet the 2014 NATO goal of 2 % by 2024....As did all the other NATO countries that signed that day.....below it mentions this in the US letter the US senators sent. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24681408-shaheen-tillis_canada_defense_spending_letter/ This is how justin kept his promise...He had no intention of keeping that 2024 deadline....he made up his own dead line....he claimed he would reach 1.76 by 2029/30....6 years past the original deadline that NATO had asked for....it should also be noted that Justin signed on to an agreement to meet 2 % of GDP, by 2024, it was not voluntary, but an agreement to spend 2 % by the date 0f 2024....Here we are in 2026, and no closer to reaching 2 % despite what Carney has said....Looks like the big middle finger to me....actions speak louder than words...so it does not really matter if justin told NATO his intentions or not...the factremains he did not keep his signed to agreement with NATO... But even with those additional commitments, the government estimates that Canada will see military spending hit 1.76 per cent of GDP by 2029-30 — still short of the NATO benchmark. Blair pointed to the new policy as a sign Canada is working on increasing spending. "Canada is on a very strong upward trajectory in defence spending. We know we've got work to do, we've acknowledged that since day one," he said. "We've clearly indicated in our budget the path to getting that done." In the NATO alliance, Canada spends less on defence than almost any other country as a percentage of its economy. But because it is wealthier than most NATO members, Canada spends more in actual dollars than all but a handful of NATO members. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/senators-note-canada-nato-spending-1.7212784#:~:text=The senators noted that Canada's,describes as a mininum contribution. 2....Canada has written the book on finding loop holes to prevent spending money on it's military, and i agree counting those few trees into NATO spending is a bit much.....but if you listened to Carneys defense speech in Yellowknife he plans to include a vast amount of non military spending items such as highways, new infra structure, for the Inuit, etc etc...this is not the first time DND has been used as a cash cow for other departments. take Afghanistan, Canada help build a DAM project, all out of DND funds....along with pave road net works...etc etc...and I'll bet one out of very few dollars spent will on the military, the most will go to projects to buy votes for those up north... Not sure why anyone would defend the liberals on military spending, not after the last 11 years....Our military is in the state it is in now because of the lack of will or spending ...and the only reason it is getting investment now is because if they don't do something fast they will have nothing able to go into modern battle...every major platform is well beyond its life time....It is not a record worth defending, it is one we should all be ashamed of....And it is our young members that will suffer... But Canadians know that, and still they don't care...they still refuse to invest, or force investment....Generations of past soldiers have already paid for these mistakes with their life's...and nothing has changed...
  19. There is lots of doubt, consumer doubt ....why is it EV sales tanked by 50 %, or other ev companies writes off 27 bil in debt in the EV market....this is not a North American issue this is globally...And now your stating EV will be the dominant vehicles sold in just 5 years...maybe you have a source for that ? Manufactures may be going down that path, but there are lots of paths....EV is one of them...but no where near at the pace they are sell Fossil fuel vehicles...
  20. And miss that sensation of having your stomach in your mouth, watching all the rookies puking into their helmets...Not a chance....besides i can't tread water very long.. which is why i prefer staying on land...
  21. Slowed is not the word i would use, with most of the big 5 auto makers either stopped making EV's or have slowed manufacturing them but huge amounts.... I guess your not getting it, if sales of EV have dropped dramatically more than 50 % according to one source i provided ...and I'm just brain storming here, how long do you think the people that make the batteries will be employed....or their staff reduced...making it a bad investment of( bils ) of our tax dollars....when this country has much urgent issues that could have really used those fund to keep Canadians healthy or safe.
  22. I don't have to pretend nothing, this is not hate....hoping they meet Allah is not hate it is wishful thinking... Thanks for the spelling lesson, i guess auto correct blew that by me... I do know the history, but if your trying to convince me that Iran's actions around the world are OK, because the big bad man in the US sorry it's not working...Iran is responsible for all of their actions...the US did not force them to be dicks that was their choice... What i believe is at some point holding Iran and it's people responsible for bringing death and destruction around the globe is OK, and they need to be stopped... in fact in many parts of the world they want it, they beg for it...The US happens to be the worlds policemen and Trump has had enough of their sh!t, and is stepping up.....You don't have to like it....you have many options available to you, live with it.....protest it, leave the country, United States is doing the world a huge favor...by stuffing these asshats into wooden boxes and preparing them for their own judgement days....Anyone cheer leading this lot should be forced to spend time in Iran and other countries that love terrorism..it is obvious you have fully taken advantage of your freedom in the US, to the point you have lost your prospective on what the basics of freedom truly are and HATE that anyone has the same rights......
  23. Not true, i don't hate them at all, i would like to see them all get to see Allah first hand....but hate is such a strong word....i spent most of my military career seeing first hand the death and destruction like these men and women have brought upon not just their own people but anyone that stands in their way....They will face the big guy and be held reasonable for their actions..... What i can't understand is why someone from north America would be cheerleading on people like the Ayatollahs, know what they have done, And who they support, like terrorism.... if the UN has bother to write reports on the topic, has got to be a red flag, normally they only write reports on Israel....
  24. We have had one since the start of the Afghanistan war, this is where we stopped, given our personal weapon ammo, and took our weapons out of the weapons bags...you also received your rest of your flight briefing like how the landing was going to be, what action to take if fired upon, etc etc...it was also a place to break up the flight, get something to eat military is not much into stewardess or feeding on aircraft.... time to change aircraft a C-17, as passage jets are not built for combat landings, like diving for the runway from 10,000ft popping flares....Kuwait offers a wide range of services for military aircraft.....
  25. Mean while Conservatives are only paying 1.49 just down the street....to bad your a lefty, i heard NDP people are paying 3.00 a liter your getting off cheap.......because they are so good...
