Why, our trading with China only represents 3.9 % of our total GDP....and could easily be replaced by other Asian countries...CSIS tells us any dealings with China risks placing our national security at risk....it places Canadians that are of Chinese decent at risk, documented cheese police stations on Canadian soil places Canadians at risk...It is not about being holier than thou, it is about National security...I know your a liberal, but you must have some moral values on the subject... I find it funny you would risk everything we have with the US , but afraid of what we would lose with China... Here is is again Have i not been listening to what is happening over the past year....Yup, has any Canadian lives been put at risk, as any Canadian died, has the US government killed Canadians here at home....this is what we have right now with China and India...It seems you have not been awake for the last decade, when China executed Canadian drug dealers, held hostage the Michaels, threaten Chinese Canadians here in our own country...not to mention India who government sent assassins to kill a Canadian citizen here in Canada all of that YOU can over look....F*ck ya we can do trade with those guys what is wrong with that, anyone that does not agree is a cry baby....what did trump do exactly ?....threaten to take over the country...make us the 51 st state....that is where you draw a line in the sand...you can kill and threaten Canadians love ones but threaten to take over the country sarcastically....that's where the lines is... I want to remind Canadians, that when our country did decide to take a stand, it was liberals that sent us into Combat...They knew full well the hell they were sending us into....a country that has eaten every foreign army that was sent into it...to make it worse our military was ill prepared nor did it have the right equipment, that's OK they were mostly conservatives anyways right.....and when our soldiers stood up and volunteered to combat duty, there was very few of the left in our ranks.... We were no on any crusade, we were trying to survive one more day, against all the odds, everything the enemy could throw against us, plus our very own government refused to give us the equipment we needed to win, until enough soldiers had died...and Canadians sat around and watched...until they got tired of seeing troops paraded down the highway of heros...then they force the government to buy something Super powers did not wash their hands , Canadians did, forcing the government to withdraw...In shame...None of that shame belongs to our soldiers you and the government sent us there to fill body bags and we did what we wirer told... Canadians had a chance to fight to bring back all those Afghanis that assisted us in that conflict, Justin and Canadians gave them the big finger....Again you want to point fingers point them at yourselves...and the government Every Canadian in Canada sent us...and once there tied our hands behind our backs and gave the advantage to the enemy... And while terrorist get paid for fighting Canadian soldiers, i watched a widow get thrown out of her PMQ with her children because her husband was declared dead in Afghanistan....I also seen a bank tried to foreclose on another widow because she had no employment and her three kids where almost forced out on the street until the banks changed their minds...... And all of this was in the media, and Canadians just watched....it was the Military members that put out off their own pockets to give them some sort of decency....

Our trading with China represents only 3.9 % of our total GDP, something that small would be easy to replace....While liberals are pushing us away from our largest trading partner with over 85 % of our GDP....which trading partner do you think should be given better treatment ?....and we have been trading with the US for centuries.... And if we have lowered our standards, and we now deal with anyone, why make any fuss about the US and their policies...why not throw the entire towel in and increase our trade with the US, cut the BS of seeking trade from dubious partners that have killed Canadians on Canadian soil, or one that operates police station in Canada, and threatens Chinese Canadians on Canadian soil....i get it something we can look away from might be worth doing just that....But when CSIS tells you these countries pose a grave threat to our national security then we announce we want to do more business with them...Sorry...you can not square that hole...

Every incident was reported, until it was'nt....to higher HQ, to the Media, In fact Canadian soldiers stormed a ANP police station and rescued boys who were being abused, then were sent home ....Hard to stop something that has been imbedded into Muslim culture for centuries, YA i just said that, this is not contained in Afghanistan alone.......Aside all the things soldier had to do just to stay alive everyday...you wanted them to crusade about this one item.... Afghanistan was like stepping back in time, to the 1700, boys the age of 9 or 10 being used as soldiers. pregnant women being used as suicide bombers...little kids as young as 5 being used as suicide bobber's...old men skinned alive and staked to the ground to bake in the sun....entire villages cleansed to the last person, for giving NATO troops directions, heads placed on long spikes along the road........so we would find him the next morning... for the crime of talking to NATO soldiers...And your making it sound like this crime was the crime of all crimes....it was but one in a country full of horrors....And we wonder why more than 50 % of all soldiers that served there came back with PTSD....Yes children getting rape is horrific....but it was one crime of many, each worse than the next... And then we come home to find out our country has awarded a Taliban terrorist 10 million Canadian dollars because he was mistreated...when all he deserved was a bullet to the back of the head....and you have the gull to ask why something was not done.....F*** You... Nobody mentioned Pipelines for China, there is more than one nation included in the Asian market...Do you really think China would tariff our oil....i mean come on...Anything China can make so can any other Asian country with the right investments...and most of the other Asian countries are not threats to our national security...once again tariff the sh!t out of all products coming in from China... That's is not the liberal line, Carney has made it very clear what he intends to do, reduce dependency on everything from the US...reconsidering all our US purchased military equipment, not buying US equipment and pushing into the European markets instead...what would that suggest to you... In the end , we will tow the line as we always have, you don't have to like it but when carney says heave you should start pulling...

Those industries that have the tariffs on they care...Trump does not care what heat he takes, or what news is going on with tariffs....all of which have made zero difference to date. You also forget that Americans like Canadians like cheap stuff, and if the product cost to much they will buy something else...which means Canadian manufactures sales go down, which means loss of business and money...It is not just a one sided street.... we will see in the future just how good Carneys inaction is....and if we get a good deal ....which i doubt...or wqe would already have it...

It is sad to see a very young man life end like that....My son is serving in Latvia right now, and things are pretty tight lipped about the circumstances over his death....It is one of the disadvantages of serving it is a very dangerous job, and can be very physically / mentally distressing.

I get this, whole diversification issue, past governments said the same thing once China imposed huge tariffs, and kidnaped two Michaels, it was all the rage, back in the day when we adhere to our moral values....today we deal with whom ever we can....tomorrow we will be in a different spot, and trade with the US will increase and we will view this as a glitch in US history... By the time we even get to diversification with other countries Trump will be in the history books and we will be once again BFF with the US...it would take decades to even drop 10-20 % of that trade to others...not going to happen...we know how to deal with trump this is not the first rodeo, stroke his ego, play nice, Carney had been doing all that during his visits to the white house, but like Justin once back in the hood, the remarks start that inflame trump.... Trump is the elephant in the room, and we are the mouse....

Right now there is nothing on the table becasue the US knows it has the upper hand is in no rush to offer anything new, we have not address the original points as of yet, what we have done is make them out to be the enemy and attacked them with any chance we have...This summer is going to be critical for Cusma...the US is going to make us pay for all these little jabs, trump does not forget anything...And right now pride is what is holding us back....as soon as dairy gets mentioned they automatic answer is nope.... There will always be persons that will benefit form all governmental policies, The government not taking into account all the pros and cons of the problem seems to be a pattern, which leads to the question what else have they not fully researched or tested theories on... Which has also lead to the government not finding the seat spot that would allow for infra structure growth, and much need population growth, plus the fact why they did not research why population growth in Canada is declining and what is the solution to that problem...and combine the two... 2. I think blaming immigration on the guy in the turban, is lazy, a quick way to explain all of the problems with our immigration....that being said, it does play a small role, many cultures such as Muslim clash with our culture moral values, they do not want to fit in to our culture but rather import their culture here...lets take Palestinian refugees for instance... 3. There are many reasons that make our economy worse...but some of them can be directly traced back to our huge immigration/ refugee numbers, housing is simple math if we are only building 400,000 new homes a year, and bring 1.5 million people and do this for 5 plus years, there is going to create a massive shortage...supply and demand dictate the price... Infra structure deficits has always been a huge problem made worse with the massive immigration/ refugee / temporary workers/ students which account for millions of people over a short period of time...one would think that with all these new immigrants we would be able to build more infra structure, have more doctors , nurses etc....but it does not seem to be the case, what i have noticed is that we have a multi spectrum of immigrants in hospitality services, fast food restaurants, and more entrepreneurs, but lacking in doctors , nurses, etc.. You've pined your whole post on the fact there are people who are racist...as the pillar of anti immigration stance...you forget to acknowledge the facts....posted by our own government that immigration levels play a large role in supply and demand of housing....that they play a huge role in stressing out existing infra structure like hospitals, road net works, and everything else. while the government has increased numbers , they have not kept up with all those expenditure to keep up with infra structure... I think grouping all those that want to reduce immigration into the feelings group.... is dishonest at best...This levels are not healthy for the country, unless we are willing to pay the difference in higher taxes....then we will see how much interest in immigration there truly is... I think the conversation we need to have is allowing the country to take a break, get caught up with everything that belongs with bringing in new people...I mean as we stand right now how attractive is Canada as a primary choice of countries to live in for new comers....with the prices of homes, food, etc... Are we really getting more wealthy by all this immigration....Boomers are, the newest generation are still living with mom and dad.. or renting.

Many billionaire businessmen have gone bankrupt more than once, and yet here he is sitting in the chair of the most powerful nation on the planet....got to count for something... Carney touted he was the man for the job, to get a deal with trump and solve all of tariff problems...today almost a year later we still no closer to a deal than we were in the election....one could to point out that fact or simply point out most of Europe has already signed deals with trump....and we have not i wonder why that is....and lastly Carney and the media have painted the US as a threat to Canada....every chance they get they poke the US , telling the world the US is no longer a reliable defense partner or trading partner, the list goes on forever....poisoning the well it is what it does...Canada's is in for a major wake up call, if cusma gets canceled, and tariffs hit most of our trade.... Which direction is that i have to ask....one where housing is out of reach of most young couples, where our economy is tanking., how about our health care with people dyeing in waiting rooms, lets not talk about Canada's new record of 100,000 Canadians being killed by Maid...we are considered an unreliable defense partner to most of NATO because we are to cheap...we can't look after our vets properly, we force our soldiers to live in homes built in the 50's while some are without drinkable water, or working toilets, and the working conditions are not much better....but we have tampons in every mens bathrooms...., Not to mention US is looking at excluding us from 5 Eyes, we have separation groups in almost every province, polls suggest less than 20 % of Canadians would even defend Canada...almost every federal government department is a smoking ruin...our infra structure is crumbling...and what are we doing about all of this suggesting a high speed train from Que to Ont...and plenty of announcements about a energy corridor, but current policies won't allow any new energy projects to be built quickly....So to say our country is heading in the right direction is misleading....Any government would have issues with fixing any of it...but a year in and the major project the liberals promised to build new affordable homes has built 9 to date. hard to be optimistic with that type of record.

So we pretty much forgive them for the two Michaels, previous tariffs, being an unreliable trading partner, not to mention a national security threat....and meddling in our elections...In comparison, I'm of the conclusion that it must be alright then to continue our relations with the US, to further our trade, then...We are missing an opportunity to cut China off completely...get a few brownie points from our largest trading partner, and allow more open realistic talks.. when you treat someone like the enemy, don't expect them to treat you with respect except the rhetoric we are getting right now...

That's not what i've seen, most of the polls are very close, with some with the cons in the lead...I'll try and find them, later. It is a gamble, one that could give Carney a majority or a loss...it why it is a gamble....he has already proven he is gambling with the crossovers...and his putting out to pasture several of the old guard. We also said that when China stab us in the back with there tariffs years ago..."we need to diversify, and yet here we are asking for more deals, instead of cutting them out al together...and replacing their input into our GDP with Europe or Asia...Trump is a business man not a politician, like Carney... and yet trump is proving to be the better opponent.... Sorry once again, The majority of Canadians also picked Justin 3 times in a row....does not mean they are right on the 4 th attempt....I find a majority of Canadians don't have the basic knowledge of our politics and how it works, or how the nation is run...I'm not any where near an expert, but i can tell you we are not going in a good direction....and it is going to take more than one party to correct it all. Personally I'm worried for Canada's future...and Canada tearing itself apart over petty things that could or should be easy fixes...
