  1. Perhaps not,but can you honestly say that under Sharia law, disputes would have been settled as fairly as disputes settled by any other kind of religious arbitration?
  2. Today we have the niqab as the topic of discussion. For those of you who have no problem with it anywhere in Canada, how would you feel about sharia law in Canada? We came close to getting it here in Ontario under Dalton McGuinty. http://www.torontosun.com/2013/04/26/bad-advice-think-justin-trudeaus-instincts-are-scary-take-a-look-at-what-two-of-his-advisers-have-to-say One of his key adivisors wants it in Canada.
  3. So you don't need to see the face at all?How about a party leader?A Prime Minister?
  4. How about a political candidate running in an election....wearing the niqab?Would you lefties be just fine with that?
  5. The Ontario Liberals have been very generous to the OPP. http://www.torontosun.com/2014/01/26/municipalities-held-hostage-by-opp-pay-raise http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/mcguinty-defends-85-per-cent-pay-hike-for-opp-in-2014/article1360155/
  6. It seems to me David Suzuki is the one that usually avoids debates. This is why he does not like to debate: http://joannenova.com.au/2013/09/david-suzuki-bombs-on-qa-knows-nothing-about-the-climate/ For the record,Justin Trudeau has a key advisor that could have easily written the Leap Manifesto, one Gerald Butts.
  7. Can you name any real achievements by the Maple Leafs in the last ten years?Yet you still support them. I will support Harper in this election because, while he is far from perfect,he is in my opinion by far the best of all the leaders.

  9. So do you want to hear from all the parties on this link in the debates? http://www.elections.ca/content.aspx?dir=par&document=index〈=e&section=pol
  10. So do you want to hear from all the parties on this link in the debates?
  11. I don't know who the real Mulcair is.Is he the one that didn't report the offer of a bribe? Is he the one who praised some of Margaret Thatcher's policies?Mulcair, one time Liberal who may have entertained the idea of joining the Conservatives? One good thing I can say about Mulcair is that I don't think he personally has a dislike for Israel and it's inhabitants that most NDP members have. I do think the NDP has more weak candidates than the other two mainstream parties.Apparently in past elections, federal and provincial, some of them didn't even bother to campaign, yet they still won.Ruth Ellen Brosseau comes to mind. http://www.ottawasun.com/2015/08/18/meet-the-ndp I don't really care about the gender of the candidates,I just want people that are honest, competent, and believe in policies that benefit our country.
  12. Justin Trudeau is just a figurehead for the Liberal Party, the real leader is Gerald Butts.I have no doubt he fully supports the recent Leap Manifesto too.
  13. I have no doubt there are qualified women out there that would do a great job in the leadership role, but certainly not any of the one's you have listed. The Conservatives have had a female leader as have the NDP.No female Liberal leader yet.
  14. It's scary to think that this woman could hold so much influence after the election. The Greens are basically a one- issue party.
  15. One could also ask,do high corporate taxes attract investment?
  16. I'm pretty content with Stephen Harper as Prime Minister,if anything,I wish he would be more conservative. For the sake of comparison, the Premier of my home province of Ontario is a horrible leader.Kathleen Wynne is the one that is really embarrassing.
  17. Most entertainers tend to do a lot of travelling over great distances.I assume most of these same entertainers fly on planes which consume fossil fuels. How about huge diesel tour buses and limos all the time?I see David Suzuki there too(owns four homes). Do as we say,not as we do. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/09/16/naomi-kleins-tommunistmanifesto
  18. Should any of the blame be placed with the provincial leaders for this time period as well?Is Stephen Harper entirely to blame for the sad state that Ontario is in?I know low oil prices are really hurting Alberta now,but Quebec has a more diversified economy than Alberta, and they are a perpetual have-not province. What's their excuse? I still plan to vote Conservative because the alternatives are much worse and I don't relish the tax hikes and return to deficits we will get from Mulcair or Trudeau.
  19. Say what you want, but Canada is doing a hell of a lot more for Syrian refugees than most of the surrounding Muslim countries.
  20. Some governments and some people simply cannot be reasoned with, you fall into that category.
  21. What kind of energy does the Green Party support that can actually produce power on demand?
  22. These Islamic fanatics tend to put civilians around military targets for the purpose of inflicting collateral damage. The left leaning media just eats it up. I believe Western military leaders go to tremendous lengths to avoid civilian casualties. In the near future, you may get what you want, namely no Canadian military participation under just about any conceivable circumstances.
  23. Too radical for me and I don't relish the thought of paying a small fortune to fill up my car and heat my home.Prices will rise a lot under a Green government, just as they will with Trudeau or Mulcair.Plus,I don't think too much of any leader that thinks Omar Khadr has class.
  24. The story has changed somewhat since then wouldn't you say?
