I occasionally see some informative data that I may miss otherwise.

I've always agreed seasonal tourism jobs should not be subsidized by a federal program. If provinces want this seasonal employment that only benefits their province then let them fund it. Interprovincial exports are another matter. We benefit from those products (fish & timber). Then we should just accept that we don't want these seasonal products. Alberta well companies are having a hard time attracting talent back and thats not seasonal just boom/bust. If I can find other employment.....I'm not coming back to hew your wood.

If health records must be private for candidates.......can't there be an objective health risk score......like an actuary would create if you were getting insurance.

That's not denoted in the statistics but classification for denials could be released but isn't. Denials for criminal charges (ie. pot and DUIs) and suspected labour infractions have gone down but denials because of country of origin have increased. Figures lie and liars figure.

That's infallible logic except....... ........to be accurate if the other party came out and said "We don't believe in what that other Party stands for.......they believe in rhetorical absolute statements about all animals being unharmed......we believe animals that personally attack humans should be dealt with.......appropriately for each situation......" then you might've had a point. No one has stated that alt-right has been rejected by this one election, but its a better situation than the alternative......

It looks like they're going to do what all politicians do.......sell the future to fund the present. Reduction in the infrastructure financing portion of your bill meaning they will let the grid rot again. Also moving the poor rebate from you power bill to your tax bill. Shell games.....politicians first love.

Hydro electricity is appropriate if needed. Large scale hydro must have a demand. Problem with both BC and NL is they approved these projects when they thought they could just shunt the power to the states for big money. Now delay/interest costs are killing them (just like Darlington Nuclear). $50 oil killed all of it. They all banked on "Drill baby drill" to be a joke. It's better to downscale projects; small river projects....tidal farms....etc. That way you get what you need....not what you can sell.

Please cite where doctors are shown to be anything more than successful private business people (if they own a practice). Practice Non-partners are not overly rich or successful, they are employees. Get rid of fee for service and the gov't would need to set up a whole new clinic system......feel that grip on your cojones?

How many discussions have you had personally where a truly solitary innocuous statement has a person running for authority? It's funny how people who hear their echo don't question the pecularity of it's pitch.

Don't shutdown debate....but her book was another agitating outrage piece......don't confuse her writing as journalism.....its an essay.....if it provokes discussion great....people however have used it to confirm their opinion......and that's all.

There's nothing wrong with that lesson.....so long as it is followed by.....and you are sometimes wrong and sometimes you have to work out your feelings on your own.
