....I'll grant you there are no shock & awe items of success (sex ed, fed transfer payments)...just shift cash around and maintain power. Recession and all. I was a fan of the Debt Retirement charge and the recent power levies until this 25% buy-off. Unlike you I am not an "anti-_____" citizen......my vote is decided by what you propose not what you detract. If Brown can put a coherent believable platform together......I'm in......if he stays on the "I'm not her" approach Hudak, Tory, Eves all took....then....

I am not a fan by far. I'm waiting for a positive alternative to step forward. Brown has shown signs but I do not put value in "we're not them" because really they are.....so I want to know what you want to accomplish before you become them.

Placating penny-wise pound foolish whiners is always open for criticism. If you care about getting re-elected then that's the game I hate. All those items are certainly items that should be weighed when voting.

Then you aren't paying attention......everyone complains about affording their hydro bill. Yes a gov't should be transparent on the cost of things but again the public are children whining about every line item.....gov't then obfuscates to get elected. Chicken meet egg.

.....if they want the electrical infrastructure to support the next 50 years......yes. People today know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. Instant return for little investment. Everyone thinks they are a venture capitalist. Society requires long vision and stable return.

....why is that hard to type? "Radical Islamic Terrorism"......how is it different than "Radical Irish Catholic Terrorism", or "Radical Sikh Terrorism".....is the crisis solved now?

What is "it"? Media had blame for Trump-mania they also own a part of Trump-phobia. Just like Islamophobia......just because there is some with an irrational fear of Trump and his supporters doesn't mean there aren't those claiming to work on behalf of Trump that will cause serious harm.

I believe them when they say they do it in the name of Islam......I'd believe them if they said their invisible rabbit Harvey told them to do it. Then what? Outlaw invisible rabbits?

The increased cost is required and its not majorly because of green contracts. The investment will pay dividends in the long run......borrowing just to coddle people is exactly what is wrong with the "microwave" generation.

You are a paid interloper, Argus is a passionate debater who comes to this forum from honesty. I disagree with his views on non-caucasians but as has been said his views have been formed by his experience. I am thankful not all have had the same. I can appreciate his concern without being consumed by his zealotry. Nuanced?

Make a word wall of reaction to your posts and the word "incoherent" would crush all others. I have nothing for these threads of "You're a pig! No. You're barbaric!" Threads that start out how do we legislate/educate populace about reduction in hate invariably turn into a justification string for that hate whether it be muslim, jew, LGBQ, or one legged soccer players. If that is what natural growth of discussion passes for around here...... I stick to gov't threads where there is disagreement but not these "paid actors" who circle these threads eating up all the chum in the water. See poster above.

Appropriation is inevitable. I think the issues more rise with "stealing" culture without acknowledgement of what went into its development. Fashion designers / artists incorporating native artifacts/aspects into products for chic-sake rubs those that have suffered irks some. I think the reason hip-hop has been allowed to be appropriated is simply due to capitalist market share associated with it. If FN people dominated the market (ie. makes gobs of cash) in selling FN culture I'm sure its minor appropriation would be overlooked. If other cultures are making more money off it then that would be an aggrieved appropriation. Once again the only culture that really matters is greed.....for all.
