  1. Thank AM - if you can take a screenshot of the errors or problems you're having, that would be helpful too.
  2. What errors are cropping up? Everyone needs to clear their cache before they go any farther in this thread. I believe 99% of the problems are stemming from a caching problem. I can use the quote and the multiquote features with no errors. I can edit the quotes and add to the quotes, and no errors (formatting or otherwise) are present. See this page for how to clear your cache in all modern browsers: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
  3. I am glad you figured this issue out.
  4. This issue has been resolved, I am closing this thread.
  5. Ok, I will investigate this issue more thoroughly. However, if you encounter any further issues (unrelated to the quoting), please start a new thread in the Support forums - that way I won't overlook any bugs. I will update this thread when I have a solution. Thanks!
  6. Good catch, I'll put it on the list of things that need addressed.
  7. Hmm, it's fine on my end in both Chrome and FF in Mac. Please clear your cache, and restart your browser. See if that helps.
  8. No problem, thanks for pointing this issue out. I cleared the forum cache, and it now looks like the quoting feature is working again. Please confirm! Also, if you see any new issues crop up, please post a note in the support forum.
  9. Yes, just be patient, we are attempting to fix
  10. I will post a notice in the forums, I will attempt to give at least one hour warning. Thanks
  11. It's a minor upgrade, no major changes should be noticed to the interface. Thanks~!
  12. The forum will be upgraded and we will have this issue fixed shortly. Thanks for being it to my attention.
  13. An important upgrade is going to be made to the forums shortly. I do not have an ETA on when the upgrade will occur, but it should happen in the next 24 hours. I will give warning when the upgrade happens, but please be patient if there is some downtime.
  14. Correction - I am now seeing the issue. I'm looking into it and I will update this thread when I know more.
  15. I've seen no evidence that the forum is infected. Is anyone else reporting this issue?
  16. Ok, what if we had a VIP section that only allowed posters to contribute under their REAL names. Verifiable via a Facebook account or some other method i choose (the how this is done isn't really important). It would also be understand that the section is only for serious on-topic discussions and any off-topic or bad behaviour would result in removal. However, if the users used their real names, i doubt anyone would go over the line... However, I would be available to moderate and ensure the topic stays FOCUSED! Of course any participant involved would be able to register under two accounts (which is currently agains that rules), so their real names and their forum handles would not be connected in any manner. If we did this, I might be able to convince some non members (say, an MP or journalist; someone similar) to join in on the discussions. Remember, +100K unique visitors visit this website a month (generating +500K unique visits) - this could be a great way to boost someone's national profile, while also hopefully generating high quality debate/discussions.
  17. Sorry, I'm not even sure we can restrict based by thread. My forum section, yes; but not by an individual thread. However, I will not be implementing anything like this in the future. I've considered making a VIP section for senior forum members who have arisen to a certain post count; but I'm hesitant as just because a member posts a lot, does not mean the overall quality of those posts are high. My advice is to ignore those who you feel are not engaged in intelligent, honest and responsible discussions.
  18. What do you mean, thread bans?
  19. This post is a cross posting from another forum, this thread is therefor closed and will be deleted shortly.
  20. Ok, I now see what you are all saying. If you're not actually looked in, you can still type your post, but they it says: Sorry, you don't have permission for that! Let me look into this issue more. However, directly below the Sorry, you don't... notice, it should have: "Post Data Saved!" And you should be able to copy and paste the posting once you are properly logged in.
  21. This is already a feature. Click on your name to pull up your account. Then click on Notification Settling Then click any of three options under: "Notify me when someone quotes my posts (and I'm not already following)"
  22. Check to see of you email address is up to date on your profile. Otherwise check your spam filters, the email might have been filtered. All wanting a should be accompanied by an email.
  23. No, which is why I do not publicize the expiration dates - as I do intent to wipe the older pre-upgrade points out for each member at some point in the near future. However, that won't happen until sufficient amount of time has passed from the point of upgrade.
