A Wealth Tax Would Severely Harm The Economy
CdnFox replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
What are you even talking about? No, that's right. It's Friday. I guess you've earned your drink or two. Carry on -
Those not empower anymore. I think pretty much every conservative year has said that c********* is bad at one point or another, certainly will talk about biden. I don't think there's any great mystery there. But there's really not much point in going on about it seeing is Trudeau is not here and seeing as the liberals will have absolutely no problem with the former leader being in a child born. It could come out that Trudeau was banging 12 year olds and you'd still be standing up for him . so seeing is he's not in power and he's not our problem anymore what's the point?
-
Where do you think he would be. Trudeau isn't prime minister STOP TALKING ABOUT TRUDEAU!!! TRUDEAU IS GONE! TRUDEAU IS GONE! TRUDEAU IS GONE! TRUDEAU IS GONE! TRUDEAU IS GONE! TRUDEAU IS GONE!..... hey why aren't you talking about trudeau? - Eyeball Of course they leave the matter up to the cops and the courts to you with. Were you expecting the leader of the opposition to comment on every Child pornography Surfer out there? It's weirdyou even bring it up Let me guess, you think that Justin Trudeau's child sex crimes are also the conservatives fault 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Reposting the same picture repetitively on social media instead of engaging in direct communication can indicate a range of underlying mental states, often linked to emotional distress, insecurity, or a compulsion for validation. This behavior frequently acts as a, sometimes unconscious, cry for attention, a way to cope with loneliness, or a method to control a personal narrative when face-to-face communication feels too overwhelming or vulnerable. Here is what this behavior can signify about a person’s mental state: The Validation Trap & Insecurity: Compulsive reposting is often driven by a need for approval (likes, comments) to boost self-esteem. The temporary dopamine rush from validation can become addictive, creating a "15 minutes of fame" cycle that leaves the person feeling increasingly insecure and empty. Avoidant Attachment & Fear of Vulnerability: Reposting a curated image instead of talking allows an individual to express emotions (such as loneliness or sadness) while maintaining a safe, "low-risk" distance, avoiding the direct vulnerability of real conversation. Anxiety and Need for Control: Anxious individuals may use this pattern to manage their narrative and how others perceive them. It provides a sense of control over their social image in an otherwise chaotic environment. Depression & Isolation: A "repost" behavior can be a symptom of social media addiction and poor mental health, often linked with depression, "social media fatigue," and a feeling of social isolation. It can indicate a substitution of real-life intimacy for superficial online interactions. Compulsive Behavior or Mania: In some cases, constant, repetitive posting can be a sign of a manic phase for those with bipolar disorder, representing a compulsive need to fill space and share content. PubMed Central (PMC) (.gov) +7 Why They Do It Instead of Communicating: It's a Proxy for Interaction: It is a low-effort way to get social feedback without the anxiety associated with direct social censure or complex conversation. Social Media Addiction: The behavior can be a sign of a "security blanket" where the user turns to their phone instead of connecting with people, paradoxically increasing feelings of loneliness. Desire for Attention: The user may be trying to establish an "aura" or create a specific image, often attempting to show a life that is more exciting or happier than the reality. HelpGuide.org +4 While this behavior is not exclusively "mentally ill," it is a frequent "thermometer" of a person’s mental well-being, often indicating a need to look deeper into underlying insecurities, loneliness, or anxiety. Aww Sweetie. Hope you feel better

LOLOL!!!!! Man. who says transgenderism is a mental health issue??!??! LOL!!! Sorry kid, anyone who would get reparations is dead, anyone who would have owed it is dead, and the consensus is that it's wrong to mutilate children. I get this causes you pain, but i think you need to work through that instead of having a hissy fit

The african americans who suffered injustice under slavery are all dead. There's no paying them back. And the people who'd owe it to them would have been the africans who rounded them up and sold them into slavery in the first place. They're dead too btw. There are no 'still to this day' injustices. They are protected by many laws and have the same rights and freedoms as everyone.

One of the fundamental problems with democratic representation is that all too often the public forgets with their job is and puts blinders on and that is definitely what has happened with the left these days I'm reminded of a scene from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: I'ts a planet ruled by lizards and the lizards are very mean to the humans. Wait i thought you said it was a democracy? It is. They why the hell do they keep voting in the lizards? Because if they don't the WRONG lizard might get in. -
So not only can you not address her comments but you couldn't address my comments either so you're asking me about her comments and to address her comments because you couldn't I'm sure there's a way to look more pathetic, but it would probably involve a research grant to figure it out I've said no such thing. So now you're just making stuff up that i've said ? Wow. You pulled it of without the research grant! Impressive! OF course, the cbc doesn't report on that kind of thing and lib supporters like you don't care either way

Yeah, I remember the old jack Layton comment where people said even if you didn't like his politics he'd be a great guy to have a beer with. When I see any of the current contenders for the democrats having a beer with him isn't what pops into my mind. I find myself thinking more along the lines of lions and arenas. -

It is a horrible idea and violates the principle that money should only be taxed once. In addition people will avoid it by various means, but that will have negative effects as well. -
Can't come up with an argument huh? We accept your admission of defeat

That's all well and good but at the end of the day if poilievre loses even one more person I think he's done. Either you can hold your caucus together or you can't, and even though I feel he would make the best prime minister by far if he can't motivate his caucus to stay with him then he has to go. I think that'll be a Tragedy but at the end of the day it is what it is. The leader has one primary job and that's to recruit and keep a good caucus and right now he's bleeding. He basically let carney take a majority government that he didn't earn. How disgusting the left is till the cows come home but we have to win or else nothing changes. And we're not going to win with the leaders bleeding caucus support. Anything else we could have cope with but if people are crossing the floor that's a problem -

Her constituents are outside our office right now threatening to burn it down Yeah that's a load of crap. But I'm sure a number of them are worried that they will not get to be a majority government. They feel the liberals have outplayed the conservatives and they are worried that they will spend four more years in opposition only to lose again in the future. So they're crossing the floor to a greener pasture where they'll make far more money and actually have a little bit of power. I still think that's detestable but one can see how someone could be lured by the prospect of almost double pay and being able to get something done -
But you know what? At least they're CONSISTANT!!! And consistancy is what this country needs today!!!! (Meet the moment!) - The CBC, probably.
