You think this stuff happens over night? BC has had low carbon standards for fuel for several years. The feds are behind on this. What shovel ready projects are you referring to and who is building them? Are you suggesting the federal government build pipelines and LNG plants, go into the business of building homes? The building industry said Trudeau's home building claims were nuts because we simply don't have the trades to build them. That won't happen fast either. I'm certainly not saying he can't do some things better but they will never be good enough for you.

I’ve never seen a picnic table made of pressure treated wood. Is that a thing where you live?

Back to Covid again. Some things never change. Never ceases to amaze me how easily distracted Magats are. Global warming, troops in the streets, checks and balances to executive power being compromised, etc, etc, just wave DEI, and Wokeism and a bunch of stuff that really matters very little in the grand scheme of things in front of them and they will ignore it all. It’s like waving a shiny object in front of a dog while you steal its dinner.

Why would I expect anything more from someone like you. Silly me. I never said anything was a fact other than 70% of the world’s population is in the northern hemisphere which is warming 50% faster (those are facts) and asked whether they might be related. I don’t know but at least I will consider the question. What did I get? Your usual bullshit that doesn’t address the question. How could I have expected anything different.

https://www.mediamatters.org/climate-deniers/spreading-climate-misinformation-fast-becoming-shortcut-popularity-across-right For starters , he isn't a climate scientist, he is a geologist. Unfortunately the right is making a scientific issue part of their culture war agains things like DEI and wokeism which have nothing to do with science. But that is what the new right does.

What do you mean by where? Glacial retreat is accelerating almost everywhere, particularly in the Arctic. this is well documented, not conjecture. The Antarctic may have gained ice for a couple of years but that doesn't reverse a trend that is decades long. Deniers go on about forest management but if our forest management policies haven't changed, why are fires so much more severe? Deniers will latch on anything to avoid reality. I have grand kids, I don't want to believe we may be approaching a tipping point either but I'm not stupid enough to think that just denying something will keep it from happening.
