Among other things Kirk was anti trans, thought the Civil Rights act was a mistake and black people were better off under Jim Crowe, said black women didn't have the mental capacity to do responsible jobs and that empathy was bullshit. Empathy: The ability to identify with or understand another's situation or feelings: I have sympathy for his family but why would I have any for someone who can't have empathy. I have no objection to trying to provide an equal level of services throughout the country. That should be part of being a country. From an economic and political point of view it would make sense to combine the Maritime provinces but everything is not about economics and politics. Culture, language and history may be more subjective but at least as important.
