  1. You can't ignore foreign nations assassinating people on your soil. I don't see JT had a choice if he has good evidence this happened.
  2. So you think assassinating political opponents anywhere you find them is OK?
  3. Modi doing a Putin, assassinating political opponents on foreign territory?
  4. The Brits didn't assassinate Irish Americans who were providing support to the IRA during the troubles.
  5. Today's India and Pakistan are largely constructs of the British Empire and otherwise wouldn't exist as we know it. At the time independence of still over 500 semi independent princely states that were subject only to indirect rule by the British. The Sikh Empire was subjugated by the Brits after two wars in the 1840's. It had only existed for about 60 years.
  6. Should be but given the state of partisanship these days, the obvious no longer matters.
  7. For some there is no way Trudeau could have handled this better no matter how he reacted, but that isn't a surprise.
  8. The US can only station military where it is invited. NATO doesn't give any member a right to base troops on another member's soil. Before the invasion, the only NATO countries bordering Russia were the Baltic states, now they have Finland as well, one of the best armed of NATO nations, backed up with an other new member with a capable military, Sweden. On top of that, most other NATO countries have upped defence spending as a result of the invasion. Putin plays lousy defence.
  9. Air India was a mess, CSIS was a new agency engaged in a turf war with the RCMP so they weren't talking to each other, evidence was deleted or destroyed. It was an un professional gong show.
  10. Considering the complete balls up Canada made of the Air India bombing case, their frustration over Sikh separatists operating in Canada is understandable. That said, you can't be assassinating foreign citizens in their own country.
  11. Canada just ejected a high level Indian diplomat so there must be something to this.
  12. There may well be proof, or at least strong evidence. PP got up and said he had been briefed on the issue and supported JT's statements.
  13. . Commonwealth countries are sovereign, membership is voluntary. Only 16 of the 56 countries recognize the monarch as head of state The Soviet Union was a Republic. It's in the name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_the_Soviet_Union
  14. The Soviet Union was a constitutional republic. Names often have no relation to reality.
  15. You would vote for white trash Boebert. Wow, your standards have no bottom.
  16. What’s going on in Ukraine isn’t play acting.
  17. We know which one you belong too.
  18. It works very well for the likes of Trump who basically have unlimited resources to use the system. Eve more so when his cult is bankrolling his defence. It isn’t just political, a lot is just outrage over what happened on Jan 6, Trumps attacks on election officials and workers and attempts to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.
  19. Nothing is perfect but what is your alternative? Judgements can be appealed, no single judge or jury is unaccountable.
  20. If you are going to go on about grooming and a bunch of other BS, don’t be surprised when a crazy runs with it. If you aren’t going to take ownership of what you say, don’t say it.
  21. Either you believe in due process or you don’t. It isn’t optional according to your personal bias.
