Editorials are about opinions. They are not news. If Tuckers editorials are the truth, so are CNN's, you can't have it both ways. -

Carlson has never been about the news. Editorials are not news regardless of who does them. Some on FOX actually did and do report news, Carlson was never one of them. -
Why? Birth tourism is a real issue where I live. There have been times when most of the maternity beds in Richmond general are taken up by people who are just here to get the kid citizenship and then head back home. Looking after these people has become an industry for some communities and it bothers me that we think so little of our citizenship that we give it away so easily.

Carlson has nothing to do with news. -
It won't pull more weight, electric motors kick ass for towing. The issue for electric trucks is batteries don't contain enough energy to tow the weight as far. My 1T diesel can easily tow a 12,000 trailer over 400 km and can be refuelled in 10 minutes. With existing battery technology an EV truck can't come close.

It's a little more complicated than that and no, it didn't start with Trudeau Sr. https://www.albertalandinstitute.ca/resources/property-rights-guide/are-property-rights-protected-in-canada

Trump claims immunity from ANYTHING!
Aristides replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
1&2. So you didn't have a point. 3: Good idea 4: Then Trump should want to go to court as soon as possible so the charges won't be an impediment to his running. 5: So the SC is going to handle it now instead of going through all the usual legal wrangling. Trump should be happy as it is his stacked court. What is he and his cult afraid of? Drain the swamp, what a joke. -

1&2 You brought Obama into the discussion, not me so what was your point? 3. Trump shouldn’t do things that get him charged with crimes. 4. They are actual laws, that’s why he has been charged. 5. Actually it was the prosecution that went directly to the SC to stop him from stalling. Trump will be the witch hunter, he has said so. -

Obama hasn't been charged with anything, why would he be asking immunity from nothing? Trump wants to be another Putin, accountable for nothing. Seems you don't think your presidents should be subject to your own laws. You want a dictator. Trump is stalling because he is guilty, you know it too, otherwise you would want his day in court as soon as possible. -

I think as a society we have an obligation to look after those who can't look after themselves, beyond that we only have an obligation to try and create an environment where everyone else can look after themselves. -
My "rotten friends" have a work ethic, they don't think they are entitled to have others provide for them. That doesn't mean they don't donate or volunteer.

How is that different from what Stalin did? I've been to Croatia and Montenegro. I don't know how it differed under Tito. I guess if Yugoslavia was so great it wouldn't have disintegrated. Communist Albania was more authoritarian than the Soviet Union..

They bounce because governments eventually act like they have a mandate to do things they were never elected to do. When governments bend over backwards to be inclusive and have it do the opposite, people push back. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a real centrist party any longer, the Liberals and the old PC's were both closer to the centre than the present Liberals and CPC.
