  1. The suggestion is to remove the right of individuals to get service in their own language. No that is not banning but it is disenfranchising a huge population. The native English population of Montreal is larger than the native English population in all other Canadian cities with the exception of Toronto & Calgary. Rights are great if they are yours, but if the right is for anyone else then suddenly it is irrelevant.
  2. You realize there is still a sizeable English population in Quebec that you are disenfranchising. Perhaps if you live in Saskatchewan you don't give a darn if Quebec in unilingual French because it has zero bearing on you, but what if you were English living in Quebec? Maybe we should have a French unilingual law for Saskatchewan, fewer people would be disenfranchised.
  3. The fact is that both the recession and 20%+ interest rates occurred 2-3 years before Mulroney took office. That is indisputable, yet you continue to make that completely false claim. To top it off, you excuse Mulroney for running deficits because of these items yet blame Trudeau who actually had to deal with them. Your blind partisanship has descended to the ridiculous.
  4. You keep repeating the same proven false allegations - do your research on facts. We were not talking about the current Trudeau. I suggest you wait until Trudeau has some time in the big chair before commenting, otherwise you are just blowing smoke.
  5. The recession(s) were in 1980-82, long before Mulroney took office. I suggest you fact check first. No, Mulroney and Harper only share 75-80% of our debt, the debt they created. Trudeau is responsible for about 20%, and the remainder is what he inherited mostly from WWII.
  6. Except the facts are the complete opposite. Trudeau was dealing with the highest interest rates ever at over 20% in the few years he ran up most of his debt, while Mulroney had significant lower interest rates (10-15%). Harper had the lowest interest rates ever at less than 1%, and he ran up debt like never before. b.tw. Trudeau had a huge recession in the early 80's when he ran up most of his debt, but you conveniently use that excuse for Harper and ignore reality. If you want to get back to the US, then why don't you mention Raegan who was the man that started the massive debt spiral? Is it the tint on your glasses, or chemicals?
  7. Yes, America was made weaker by Raegan. We don't need another Republican to make the world a more dangerous place. The creator of ISIS (Bush) did enough damage to last a century.
  8. Why didn't you report those imams and teachers to the authorities and press?
  9. The five polls that will be averaged in mid-September (specific date has not been set) to decide who will participate in the Presidential debate if they pass the 15% threshold are: ABC-Washington Post CBS-New York Times CNN-Opinion Research Corporation Fox News; and NBC Wall Street Journal Who wants to see Gary Johnson and/or Jill Stein?
  10. I wonder if his physician stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  11. If it ain't fixed, don't break it.
  12. Translation: lefties are stupid troglodytes + a bunch of useless verbiage
  13. Nobody is apologizing for the violent thugs in any society. It is only the regressive that needs to point out a specific thug, and then say that thug represents 1.5 billion people.
  14. Yes, higher voter turnout is a good thing. Characterizing it as a Trump victory however is the same as the example given the other day of cheering Trump's action plan on homelessness (more Soylent Green).
  15. Those of us who tend to think clearly know that what is important to a liberal is liberty and equality. Those who can't think clearly see the support of equality as the loss of their self assumed natural superiority.
  16. You mean: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:17-19 “It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” — Luke 16:17
  17. Canadians are also subject to physical harassment in the street as well, it is call swarming. Here is just one of many examples: http://www.calgarysun.com/2016/05/18/you-were-messing-with-the-wrong-people
  18. Backward views are something all religions seem to embrace. Are you suggesting we ban religion? I don't like the backward views of any religion, but we have seen the folly of banning religion before. Who gets to define the progressive views? Not too long ago there were male only (practice, not rule) gyms, and when women started showing up they were harassed.
  19. It seem not only Canadians fear trump, the Republican National Committee fear him as well: We believe that Donald Trump's divisiveness, recklessness, incompetence, and record-breaking unpopularity risk turning this election into a Democratic landslide, and only the immediate shift of all available RNC resources to vulnerable Senate and House races will prevent the GOP from drowning with a Trump-emblazoned anchor around its neck.

And you're taking consent away from her.

I said she was a willing participant, but that doesn't exclude the fact that she was taken advantage of by the POTUS. Clearly again, not a level playing field. Come on! She was a young intern.

You called him a sexual predator. She was a willing participant in their affair. He was not a predator in any sense of the word, lest someone with prestigious employment not be allowed to have a relationship with anyone. She was an adult. An informed adult who gave her consent.

  20. Is anyone else getting dizzy?
  21. Let's see, the US does $24 billion in bi-latteral trade with Russia and $600 billion with Canada. You must be a Trump supporter, it doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't even have to be remotely logical, just as long as it fits your sick ideology.
  22. Same place I would prefer to live as a male.
  23. Your Canada already has segregated schools. Why are you not making comments about them and about the Catholic church which support many of them?
