  1. I would love to be proven wrong. Please Greenthumb, prove me wrong. Please UShaditComing, prove me wrong. Name some precious freedoms that have slipped away since Harper took office. For the love of God, prove me wrong. LOL. I'm still waiting. Actually, now for your answer, and from Greenthumb. Come on guys, I'll allow both of you to collaborate on answers if that'll help. Btw, don't post ignorant arguments if you're not prepared to back them up.
  2. Very well stated. I can respect someone who worries that McCain may get America involved in another war. I can respect any legitimate concerns people with differing political views (or even similar ones) may have with John McCain as President. However, this thread was started as an obvious attempt to troll and insult. Bringing up a candidates spouse's medical troubles, or unfounded inappropriate relationships doesn't merit any real discussion. That also should apply to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
  3. I'm also Canadian, and like you, I also support the use of waterboarding. However, I've been told by the Canadian Thought Police that it's "un-Canadian" to think that way. We need to be careful, I don't wanna end up in a Human Rights tribunal.
  4. Um, that response wasn't from me. Try and criticize me on things that I actually say.
  5. Great question. I'd like to ask a follow-up. If it was clearly stated before Bush/Cheney, who stated it and how did they state it?
  6. I must correct you. They do see evil, just not in the terrorists and dictators of the world. The only "evil" they see is from elected leaders of liberal democracies.
  7. The "McCain has a temper" meme is tantamount to the "Barack Hussein Obama" one. Except that Hussein is actually Barack's middle name, while McCain's so-called temper is simply a strong disagreement with a reporter from the New York Times (The media outlet already responsible for one hit job on him). It's just an attempt at another drive-by shooting by the drive-by media. If this is clip is an example of his temper, then there isn't much of a story to be had. However, that hasn't stopped the New York Times before, and probably won't stop them in the future.
  8. So much for discussing the Barack Obama Presidential campaign. The new troll/hijacker has decided he's going to fight for the world's "freedom" in every thread he chooses, while at the same time dismissing anyone elses opinion which differs from his own. Stalin would be proud.

  10. Not only that, but they suddenly turn into proponents of capital punishment. Except of course to murderers and rapists. Ahh liberal logic. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
  11. Yes, I'm disgusting. Grunt out some more insults. Grunt, grunt UShaditComing. This is not a matter of "acting Canadian" or "acting American". As if all Canadians, and all Americans act in the same manner. Maybe you should start acting Canadian, and stop calling anyone who disagrees with you un-Canadian. There are legitimate differences of opinion that deserve to be discussed. Maybe you need to be a little more understanding and accepting of others opinions, the same way you claim Americans need to be. On a side note, I believe the name's IRAQhaditComing, or IRANhasitComing would be more appropriate.
  12. Yes, because the appropriate penalty for killing an animal should be death. Anyways, I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but there have been doubts raised as to the authenticity of the video. One of them being the fake squealing of the dog.
  13. I'm Canadian. That's why London, Ontario is listed under my name. Learn to read, and stop assuming what fits your narrative. And please listen to others, start your own threads instead of hijacking everyone into a constant "American is bad" discussion.
  14. Very nice hyperbole. Name one "precious" freedom that has slipped away since he's been in office. And just because you may disagree with him politically, doesn't mean he's a wannabe dictator. You do a disservice to legitimate dialogue in forums such as these when you use that type of intellectual dishonesty.Oh, and trex, I'm still waiting.
  15. Great observation. I also find it interesting the way they're able to discuss issues of foreign policy with such matter-of-factness. As though they have their own Intelligence Agency at their disposal.
  16. I don't grunt out insults. I've asked trex to defend his ideas, and he's refused. It tells you a lot about a person who can't or won't defend his own arguments. He's made the claim that America is as bad, or worse then so-called dictatorships. I would just like to know which countries he considers so-called dictatorships. Is that such a ridiculous question to ask? I think not. As for my signature. I've referenced both Ronald Reagan (proper spelling) and John F. Kennedy. And I certainly won't apologize for admiring them both, and recognizing their many achievements. Grunt, grunt UShaditComing. Grunt out some more insults.
  17. Wrong. America actually gets more oil from Canada and Mexico then the middle east. However, they are dependent on foreign oil because the left won't allow America to develop it's own oil resources. And yet, they're the first one's to complain when oil/gasoline prices rise.
  18. Ah, you must mean whistleblowing a candidates lies to the American people.
  19. When you explain to us which countries you consider so-called dicatatorships. Coward.
  20. Yes we do know what was said and in what context. We have the contents of the memo. And you don't know for a fact that the Government interfered for their own self serving reasons, you can only speculate. This is all just manufactured outrage from people who dislike Harper from the beginning. There's only one fact. Obama's economic advisor DID meet with Canadian officals, and we have a MEMO detailing that meeting.
  21. Hey trex, I guess you figured you'd spew that garbage without anyone challenging you? Grab a spine, and let us all know, which countries you consider so-called dictatorships.
  22. What was truely reprehensible, was Obama saying one thing to Ohio voters, and the opposite to the Canadian Government.
  23. It's against the law to leak a memo regarding a Professor of economics' discussion with an official at the Canadian Consulate in Chicago? Are you talking about Canadian law or American law? And if it's true, where are the prosecutions of leakers of the Canadian Federal Budget every year? It's not okay to give away national security secrets. This however, falls well below that standard. This memo shows that Barack Obama either didn't know that his economic advisor had a meeting at the Canadian Consulate, or lied about it. The memo, which nobody is disputing its authenticity, illustrates Barack Obama's double-talk regarding his NAFTA position. The meeting happened. Barack said it didn't. That's a fact. The memo tells Canadian officials to discount Obama's rhetoric regarding NAFTA. That's a fact. I'm sorry that facts may get in the way of people's dislike of Stephen Harper. Some people want to focus on why/who leaked, instead of focusing on the content of the discovered meeting, and the discovered memo. Whoever leaked, for whatever reason, should be looked upon as a whistleblower, shining the light on poltical backroom deals, and political double-speak by a candidate running for President of the United States.
  24. Yes of course, they forced, by gun point, Obama's economic advisor to meet with Canadian officials in Chicago. Then, they forced him not to tell Barack Obama about said meeting. Then, they forced Obama to double-talk on the NAFTA issue during his campaigning in Ohio. Yeah, that must be it, cause Obama certainly couldn't have any responsibility here. He's not even President yet and he's caused an International incident. I can't wait until he's in the Whitehouse meeting with Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong Ill and Ahmadinejad, without pre-conditions.I see the leaker of this memo as a whistle-blower. American voters have the right to know if Mr. Hope and Change is really Mr. Politics as Usual. According to the writer of the memorandum, Joseph De Mora, a political and economic affairs consular officer, Professor Goolsbee assured them that Mr. Obama’s protectionist stand on the trail was “more reflective of political maneuvering than policy.” It also said the professor had assured the Canadians that Mr. Obama’s language “should be viewed as more about political positioning than a clear articulation of policy plans.”
  25. What in the world are you talking about? What tactic? Obama told reporters that there was no meeting that took place. That was untrue. It was Obama's economic advisor who met with Canadian officials. There's a memo summarizing the meeting. It has nothing to do with Harper.
