Yes, I do honestly believe that Iran would use nuclear weapons against Israel.

Wrong. You're forgetting about the new final solution. They just have to hold out long enough for Iran to develop nuclear weapons.Ahmadinejad: Israel’s destruction near Iranian paper: Great war to wipe out Israel coming

The ugly hate-filled Left

Bump. Ted Kaczynski (aka The Unabomber) was an environmentalist, who's manifesto was derived from Al Gore's book, "Earth In The Balance". -
Homosexuality is obviously an anomaly, but definitely not brought on my immorality and viciousness. It's just a genetic mix-up. That's all.

Elton John denounces organized religion
Shady replied to theloniusfleabag's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
How would one go about banning religion anyways? Is he advocating kicking down people's doors, to make sure they're not reading the bible, or conducting mass? Does anyone else find it ironic, that, he, a person who doesn't want what he does in the privacy of his own home to be anyone else's business, advocating a position where people's privacy would have to be violated in order to carry out his ridiculous ban. No, it doesn't make it a disease. But it does make it a genetic abnormailty, that, with future technology could be corrected. Soon homosexuality may be a thing of the past. Probably not, but it seems that they're all gay. After all, they're not preying (no pun intended) on little girls. -
Why is Truman the worst? I don't get it. Absolutely. Jimmy Carter was a putz, and a terrible Preisdent. I believe the misery index was created during his term in office. What an honor huh? I agree. He's the Winston Churchill of our time. Why? If George Bush is considered the worst President in history by some people because of Iraq, why on earth should Lyndon Johnson be given credit? For what? 50,000+ U.S. casualties? Millions of vietnamese casualties?Ok, there's way too many posts to respond to, I guess I was late getting to this thread. I meant to vote for Reagan but accidentally voted for W. Damn Diebold! IMO, Reagan was clearly the best President of the last 60, followed by FDR.

LOL, you're so right. Not only that, you're only one pay-cheque away from being homeless, America is a fascist theocracy, and there's gonna be a military draft. Gotta tackle those issues in a non-fearmongering way as well. I love it, because you agree with the outcome of the election, "American's have proven democracy works". Unless of course, people you disagree with politically win elections. Then I guess it doesn't. Too funny. Anyways, newsflash. America practices a better form of democracy then we do. Always has.

The Democrats definitely did well this year. You have to tip your hat to them. Although, it seemed to be more of a vote against Republicans then a vote for Democrats. They did better then I expected for a party offering absolutely no platform, other then not being George Bush. The good news is, that their gains will only be temporary. They gained many seats in very conservative districts due to Iraq, and several unusual circumstances like Abramoff and Foley. Not to mention the true voter fraud that took place this fall. Democrats pretending to be conservatives. That ain't gonna fly with a two-year voting record. Also, I think it's probably a blessing in disguise. With an important Presidential election on the horizon, briefly reminding the voting public about just what Democrats leading Congress is like, will go a long way for 2008.

I wish we had alot of what America has as its system of government. Especially the independence it allows individual members of Congress. One can truely act on principle, instead of party, and really only have to answer to one's constituency.

This is the Democrat equivalent of McCain has a black baby. They're trying to suppress the Evangelical vote.

Who Will Win U.S. Mid-Terms?

Yes, the gay Republican representatives and ministers. It's the Democrat equivalent of McCain has a black baby. And yes, I think Republicans will retain slim majorities in both houses of congress. -
Who Will Win U.S. Mid-Terms?

Good news for Republicans. Republicans Cut Democratic Lead in Campaign's Final Days A nationwide Pew Research Center survey finds voting intentions shifting in the direction of Republican congressional candidates in the final days of the 2006 midterm campaign. The new survey finds a growing percentage of likely voters saying they will vote for GOP candidates. However, the Democrats still hold a 48% to 40% lead among registered voters, and a modest lead of 47%-43% among likely voters. PEW And that's despite the recent news parade of gays and their sexual exploits. -
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- North Korea has revealed to the United States that it has a secret and active nuclear weapons program begun years after it promised to never again to pursue such a course, the White House said late Wednesday The intelligence, the official said, indicated the program was launched in the late 1990s -- several years after North Korea signed the agreement with the United States, Japan and South Korea CNN I'm not sure why the Bush-haters have to try and re-write history. It's not difficult to prove you liars wrong.
-
That's a lie. North Korea was developing nukes long before George W Bush was ever in office. Stop lying.

Lawmaker's son, 4 others charged in tire slashing MILWAUKEE (AP) — The sons of a first-term congresswoman and Milwaukee's former acting mayor were among five Democratic activists charged Monday with slashing the tires of vans rented by Republicans to drive voters and monitors to the polls on Election Day USAToday If anyone wishes to read up on traditional Democratic creative accounting on election day, read about the 1960 Nixon/Kennedy election. Was Nixon Robbed? On the other hand, some fraud clearly occurred in Cook County. At least three people were sent to jail for election-related crimes, and 677 others were indicted before being acquitted by Judge John M. Karns, a Daley crony.

You shouldn't be distrubed at all. He's right to speak out against ILLEGAL immigration. Afterall, it's ILLEGAL. It hurts the country, especially by supressing wages for lower and middle-class workers. If your Dad came to Canada illegally, that's wrong as well, however, I'm guessing that he probably came here legally. Please don't mix illegal immigration with legal immigration. They're two seperate issues.

To my American brothers and sisters

Not only that, he's a rabid winger. You can tell by the terminology he likes to use (ie Shrub). That type of stuff is rampant on the far-left blogs. Give them a read, they're very entertaining. -
Lieberman Leaving Dems?
Shady replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
RealClearPolitics.com has Lieberman up by 12.5% on Lamont. Looks like Joementum is outta control, and it looks like the far-left wingers cost the Dems a senate seat. Link You might be right, however, that would mean that the majority of people in Connecticut prefer a more Conservative senator. So either way, democracy wins. -
My favourite part of the Dixie Chicks song, "not ready to make nice" is definitely the video. They're playing violins. Which is very appropriate, since they've been playing the world's biggest violin for the last 3 years. They're not victims, they're millionaires, and I'll be glad when they finally shut up about their "victimhood".

Yep, and guess what genius, law-enforcement profiles for that. It's too bad we couldn't do the same for terrorists. I guess we don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings. Oh, and this tactic has been done before. Black Dog started a thread involving a guy making a pipe bomb and equated it with the threat from Muslim terrorism. Pretty lame.

Republican Congressman Foley a pedophile
Shady replied to gerryhatrick's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
As serious as a heart attack. The man responsible for his deplorable actions has resigned. He's gone. However, I'm still searching for this so-called "coverup". And Democrats aren't? I'm sure they would take issue with that statement. I agree as well. Unless of course you're a Democrat that has sex with a page who's a minor. Then you get to serve for 13 more years in Congress, and be named Chairman of a committee instead of having to resign. Talk about accountablility. -

The History of African Americans and the GOP

Easy, because Democrats = quotas and big money for big government programs "designed" to help the poor and disadvantaged. If you're against quotas and big money for big government programs, you're deemed racist. -
Bill Clinton Blows a Gasket On Fox
Shady replied to sharkman's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Wrong mind-set. That was one of the major failures of the Clinton Administration, treating terrorism as just a law enforcement issue, when it's also a national security issue and a military issue.
