Well how bout that trade? Who cares if the team has not manager. We have more starting pitchers and a world class shortstop! If the Jays can't compete for the AL East next year I'll be shocked. Also bringing in Buck means they can deal Arencibia which is cool. GO JAYS GO!!!

There's no Gang Rape, I recall but . . . SPOILER FROM THE COMIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the comic The Governor rapes Michonne over and over again, in hopes she'd eventually kill herself. He also makes her take part in one of those Zombie Fight Club fights where she kills the zombies. Eventually she gets free and cuts off his penis, arm and carves an eye it with a spoon. (He doesn't die though) In the comic he also cuts off Rick's hand. Andrea is never a part of the group in Woodbury, it's Rick, Glen and Michonne. Michonne saves Otis (he doesn't die until later ) and becomes part of the prison. See how different they are? But the source material especially in the previous episode have a great impact on the show. It makes the show very appealing the people who have read the comic.

I don't agree. Christ Hardwick challenged him on it. In the preview they make mention of Carol. I may be wrong but from what I've read people are pretty sure she's still alive. You wouldn't kill a main character without showing the death. According to that same episode of Talking Dead, the director said there were dragging marks on the floor, perhaps she's around the corner, or a half eaten corpse is too gruesome even for this show.

I broke my finger last week. Decided to go to the doctor because it was bruised purple. I had to flash my Health card 6 times in the span of 4 days to get any resolution. - See the doctor to get a prescription and an X-Ray ordered. - Get an X-ray at the hospital. - Go back to the doctor to review the X-Ray and discover my finger was broken. - Go back to the doctor yet again once I found a surgeon to tell me how bad the break was. - Go back to the Hospital to pick up a copy of the X-Rays to bring to the surgeon. - Finally to see the surgeon to tell me all I needed to do was keep my fingers taped for a few weeks. I wonder how much that cost the government? BTW Ontario is starting to allow pharmacist to give Flu Shots and renew prescriptions but I'm sure the pharmacist will be allowed to bill OHIP, or whatever the other plans are called, to do those things.

Poll shows NDP losing out to the Liberals
Boges replied to Boges's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The story I read said the NDP are doing poorly in Alberta because of Mulclair's position on the oilsands. Not that they would have expected to win anymore than that token Edmonton seat they have. -
It's also ironic they're protesting Canada's attempt to bring similar freedoms to their home country. It's an ironic paradox.
-
And it's everyone else's right to call them jerkoffs.
-
I'm not even certain Carol is dead. They would have shown her being eaten. They didn't bury anyone in those graves. Both T-Dog and Lori were eaten. The Governor replaces Shane as the stories antagonist. Eventually he'll find out about the prison.

It's very ironic that they would protest Canada's involvement in Afghanistan. Would they even be allowed to have an opinion in a Taliban controlled Afghanistan?

This story is rather ridiculous. Lots of what CBC does is stupid. Sun's Brian Lilly is releasing a book detailing things the CBC has done that defy logic. http://www.torontosu...by-brian-lilley

http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/11/13/ndp-support-dropping-as-liberals-conservatives-gain-ground-in-new-poll/ Again, I don't believe polls this far out from an election matter much but it does seem there'll be significant vote splitting in the next election if the Libs elect a somewhat competent leader.

This Governor is rather tame compared to the one in the comics. The previews show that Andrea and him get romantic in the next episode. Is keeping your zombie daughter around any different than what Herschel did in the barn?

I don't like the fact that teacher's can withhold something very important to the education system because it's not in the contract. It should be. It's like they sat down at the bargaining table and management said "we'd like you to patrol the halls between classes" Teachers: "We'll do that but don't put it in the contract so we can withhold that service if we're cranky." It's like extracurricular activities. If teachers can't be compelled to participate then parents or other volunteers should be allowed to replace them.

It looks like a few of the sacrificial lambs, I mean leadership candidates, don't agree with the government's handling of this situation. Gerrard Kennedy being one of them. The truth is, there's little teachers can do to effect change as the current government is a lame duck. I'm assuming the new leader will have a different approach to this matter as most of the major ministers in the government have declined to run for leadership. Also an election will have to be called soon after a leader is named. Whoever the new leader is will have no mandate. Sandra Pupatello's comments have been troubling as she wants to win a seat before a general election and thinks the public doesn't want another election.

Sandra Pupatello to run for Ontario liberal leadership
Boges replied to ontariosouth's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Then they had the teacher's unions working for them. The whole power plants fiasco wasn't realized then either. -

All these candidates are vying to be sacrificial lambs that will have to slog it out in opposition like Dalton did. -
I saw the cover of the Metro this morning and it had Ford on the cover with a trophy over his head like he won the Grey Cup so the football thing is winding down.
-
Especially when his attendance is better than former Mayor David Miller.
-
I seem to remember an outcry because Mayor Ford skipped out on a council session to coach a football game. He never called for the bus, the police did because there was a threat of a fight. He also never told the TTC to kick passengers off.
-
That's a lame retort. Want a clear majority in Canada? then only have two parties run.
-
The districts are based on population. In fact unlike in Canada, a state can lose districts if its population goes down. A purely popular vote result doesn't take into the consideration of different geographical regions.
-
Hmmmm http://www.thestar.c...-david-miller-s Mayor Rob Ford has a better council attendance record than 21 current councillors and than former mayor David Miller did during the last two years of his tenure. Ford, who drew widespread criticism for skipping more than two hours of last week's three-day meeting to coach high school football, has missed 494 of the 3,334 council votes since December 2010, an absenteeism percentage of 14.8 per cent. He has been absent less frequently than 21 councillors, more frequently than 23. Councillor Ron Moeser (Ward 44, Scarborough East), who has had health problems related to a failed ankle replacement, has missed the most votes: 55.4 per cent. Councillor John Filion (Ward 23, Willowdale) has missed 33 per cent, Giorgio Mammoliti (Ward 7, York West) 26.9 per cent. In all, 12 councillors have missed more than 20 per cent. Miller's attendance record cannot be perfectly compared with Ford's: until Ford's mayoralty, thousands of individual votes were not recorded in the official meeting minutes, and data for Miller only covers his final two years in office; the Ford data covers his first two.

He likely knew about it but all evidence shows that the Police made the call, not him. Do you think he should have said to the Police. NO!!! the Toronto Star is going to get upset about this, we'll just wait for the Yellow bus. I don't think there's any evidence to show he knew TTC riders got kicked off a bus to send it to pick up his team. The TTC and the police have to wear this, not him.

The problem I have with the Electoral College is that it's Winner take all for the entire state. At least with FPTP the result takes into consideration of individual ridings. Since each Electoral College vote is representative of a congressional seat you could easily have the race run district by district instead of State by State. Assuming each district that voted for a Republican would have also voted for Romney, that would mean Romney would have won under this scenario. Not saying I want this system because Romney would have won, I'm just saying it would be a better reflection of the different regions of each state and across the nation.
-
So do the same people that think our FPTP system is BS think the same about the Electrical College?
