Why are public sector jobs necessarily bad?
-
They're not necessarily bad. But you always want more private sector growth so that public sector jobs can be supported. Otherwise, it becomes problematic.

Well, S.W Ontario isn't doing very well Windsor went from 7.2-7.3 and Chatham-kent (former Kent county, has 10+, and I don't London On is doing that well either.

The Ontario Liberals under Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne should go down as one of the most corrupt governments in the history of Canada.

Who said I'm a liberal? If you think that voting conservative will solve anything, that would be like drinking poison to recuperate from a cold!
-
So your answer is to vote Liberal then? Or NDP? That's the solution? Lets see, Liberals; a proven undeniable record of corruption and malfeasance, or NDP with a proven record of self interest and complicity
What? Drinking poison to recuperate from a cold! I guess its much better...

What happened to this update? Format looks screwed up on my computer.

Gotta wonder the scores of people that will decide to protest WBC founder Fred Phelps's impending funeral. Or is the best response to ignore him?

The best medicine is to ignore the funeral, his daughter and church, his ilk like Pat Robertson and Bryan Fischer, etc.

Yeah religious conservatives arent a group of folks anyone should be paying real attention to.

Investigation is ongoing... charges are pending...
I'm sure the mods will be kind enough to make an announcement about who is gone and for how long...
-
I stayed out of that thread for the most part. I could see where it was going. The derangement syndrome display by the Ford Obsession Posters is off the charts.
-
cuz Ford is such a great mayor! LOL

I have no idea why stories and video games utilizing Lego characters is so popular.

Star Headline: Canadians expect CPP, lottery to fund retirement. (face palm Canada)
-
only those, who lost their jobs, went through saving, RRSP's, life insurance, to try and keep their homes, which would them homeless, depend o Food banks, I wouldn't call CPP a lottery, after all people did paid into.
-
Or those who never made enough to have RRSPs or insurance or savings, which is, uhm, a lot of people...

I don't really get it, but when I last heard Toronto FC is really popular and sells out every game!
-
Maybe in 2007. They raised the prices and team only got worse. They don't draw very well anymore. Both Montreal and Vancouver have been much better teams.
-
I guess it changed since 2010 then?
-
Rob Ford is Big time when? SNL skit? NO! When he's mentioned on a Walking Dead after show. Now that's Big time.

The alternate is alright, but the other two are pretty weak.

His first became a great movie for the times, Hunt For Red October
-
Great movie. Loved Connery's Scottish version of a Russian captain. That dude could not act...he was the same guy in every movie. Fortunately, I love that character.

He used to write good books. Then he became full of himself, told his editor to take a hide, and started producing dreck. Hasn't had a good book in over a decade.
