Do Canadians care about World Junior Gold because we feel obligated to?

yes
-
I don't care about thre hype, just pointed it out. The rality is that the World Juniors are high speed, very intense games. If ypou don';t like this type of hockey, you don't like hockey, period.

In the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost.

Should he get to be redeemed, like the New Testament says? Or stoned to death like the Old Testament says? So confused.

Little of column A.... Little of column B....

The importance of not allowing networks to censor political ads is perfectly illustrated with the CPCs new ad where they effectively use JT's "The budget will balance itself" gaffe.

I think JT is just repeating what his dad said and did .
-
That's dumb.
-
What the hell, we may have a better chance under JT's approach. So far in a few months under Harper we have somewhere around 6 billion going here and then there, disappears, goes back to gov. coffers, who the hell knows.

The Grey Cup breaks AGAIN! is it made of tin foil?
-
LOL
It's old....
-
Yup, it's old but the cup doesn't break, it just becomes separated from the sections they have added over the years for all the names. We had the good fortune to hold it after the Lions won in 2011 and in many ways the cup looks its age. all kinds of little dings and scratches that you can't see on TV. Each probably has a story. Petty cool.

Tim Hortons is set to raise prices of coffee. This calls for a Royal Commission!

People love it.

Proves people have no taste.

People love Tim Horton's coffee after dumping a 1/4 cup of cream and a 1/2 cup of sugar in it.

This change in jet stream pattern behind the altered weather for the last couple of years could be the new normal. What's behind that shift?
-
I used to live in Barrie Ont. So I guess technically it was bay effect snow, but still lot's of it.
-
Toronto is an hour and a half a way and there's not much snow. It also hasn't been nearly as cold in the Toronto area than it has in other parts of the continent.

Neil Young thinks the campaign against ISIS isn't worth the Fossil fuels used. I could say the same thing about all the fuel he's used to tour the world.

We can't get back to rep by pop because of stupid rules put in place far in the past that put a floor on seats. We'll get closer, and that's great, but with the new ridings, in 2011, the results would have been even more in Harper's favour.

The FPTP system is flawed!. . . When it doesn't benefit the party I support.

FPTP is deeply flawed whether or not it produces my desired outcome.

Canada's unemployment rate drops to 6.8% lowest since 2008. McJOBS!!!!!

Ya it's called the Temporary foreign worker program! Get's confused with the internet all the time!
-
Not a lot of Canadians that are flocking to those kind of jobs.
-
The solution for New Brunswick unemployment is to get federal money for NB universities to spew out more graduates to fill nonexistent jobs. Is that an accurate summary?

Of course record ice levels in Antarctica is more evidence of climate change right?

JT characterizes Canada's CF-18 fleet as "aging". So perhaps we SHOULD get those F-35s.

yest another example fo the paralysis in business that afflicts this country. We cannot get our goods to export markets, cannot buy equipment.
-
Cannot buy equipment due to the incompetence of this government!
-
This conversation is so typically Canadian. Whine and wring hands for years while nothing gets done because we're frozen by fear and indecision over making a second best choice. What a bunch of wusses.

Air Canada wants to charge for checked bags. AC does know charters to Sun destinations don't currently do that. Big Disadvantage AC!

So the new iPhone 6 can apparently bend in pockets.
-
That's what everyone at work is talking about. This new phone.
-
I watched the video, it certainly bends but a significant amount of pressure had to be applied. The device is far more shatter resistant,
when dropped, than the i5. IMO, that's a worthwhile trade off.
-
Bending by actually using purposeful force it is one thing. But if it gets bent in your pocket that's another. Is the iPhone 6 not meant for pockets now?
