There is $830,000 worth of research money given out by the Cdn gov't and the people from the Wuhan lab are running the show. How would you like to characterize this eyeball? Our gov't just put the Wuhan lab in charge of $830K worth of research. Sure, some of our people are involved, no doubt lending the Chinese some of their expertise. Does it make it better that we're also giving them valuable information about our methods?

When countries start wars, they always know that some of their own people will die. Usually it's massive amounts of 17-24 yr olds. IE, extremely useful people with 40-50 yrs left of supporting the economy left in them. If China knew that they could deal this much damage to the American economy, and only lose 4,632 people [mainly septuagenarians and octogenarians with a few other very unhealthy people sprinkled in], and get away with the vast majority of the world thinking China was totally innocent, would the Chinese government do it? Without question. This was a massive victory for Xi if this was intentional, and there won't be a single member of the Chinese government that would see it as anything but. Business/the economy is war. I'm not guaranteeing this was intentional, I'm still putting it at 33%, but if it was intentional it was a complete master stroke, and there was no better way for China to have done this.

Even if it wasn't created in a lab that doesn't mean that it wasn't harvested in the wild and then released intentionally. The People's Republic of Boguslandia could release the Ebola virus if they wanted to. That doesn't mean that they made it in a lab.

Yeah, sorry but it does. It's China. We're talking about the country that killed 50M of their own people in the '50s, and that just recently had a 1 child/family policy which was ruthlessly enforced. The virus killed off a demographic of their population that doesn't do much more than drag the country down militarily and economically, the fact that they had a death toll is a good smoke screen, and the virus dealt a hammer blow to the US economy. If you look at the death toll in NYC, it could be partly because of the over-crowded subway, it could partly be because they sent a few infected 24 yr olds there to just ride the rails for a few days. There are a lot of other subway systems in the world that are just as crowded which don't have NYC's infection rate. Never rule anything out.

I'll go ahead and suggest that there's a really, really good chance that the virus was held as a bio-weapon, whether it was released intentionally is another matter. They definitely would have recognized it's potential as a bio-weapon. If I had to guess at the chance that it was released on purpose, I'd peg it at 33%. It's not the most likely scenario but it's not completely unlikely either. If it was released as a bio-weapon, it wasn't necessarily released as an instrument of all-out war, it could have been deployed as a weapon of economic war. If it was, it was extremely effective.

I watch Fox News almost every day and I don't catch them lying like CNN or CBC. I've got an open challenge out there to anyone who wants to try to catch Fox lying (aside from Juan Williams or the other Dem apologists there) and no one has ever taken me up on it. Unfortunately they don't have a Canadian division. I don't trust Rebel News much more than I trust CBC and CTV, but they carry information and stories that those two ignore. My main beefs with Rebel are the paywall and the fact that Ezra tends to ramble on. Trump lies less than the average MLW poster, and a lot less than Trudeau & CNN, but I am aware that he doesn't have an unblemished record. It's just not nearly as bad as the unwashed CNN horde would have you believe. Trump's main advantage over the likes of Obama and Trudeau is that Trump actually puts his own country first.

Beijing and Shanghai are both about 1,000 km from Wuhan. Neither city was hard hit by covid, compared to several other cities around the world. China lied about human to human transmission. The Chinese government let their people fly to international airports all over the world from Wuhan when they knew it was experiencing a pandemic, they even got mad that the US blocked flights from there, but they didn't let people from Wuhan travel all over China. China refused to let scientists from other countries get involved in fighting/learning about covid early on in the game, and as a result other countries were forced to rely on the misinformation coming out of China and the WHO. As a result, other countries weren't properly prepared to deal with it. I think China looks pretty bad right about now. If the viral outbreak started in NYC and Trump handled it like Xi did there would be no grey area on this topic. There wouldn't even be any question about the degree of guilt. It would be 100% guilty, no need for a trial, schedule the executioner.

I overheard one of my wife's friends saying that she was told that she could get a ticket for driving in her car with her daughter, because her daughter doesn't live at home anymore. I'm not worried about getting a ticket for something stupid like that, I'd find some way around it, but this kind of talk is making the rounds. I've seen mention on FB about places where people face penalties for speaking negatively about vaccines. If it's true it's extremely alarming, but I don't trust anything I see on FB. I never said that I cared about an unproven allegation against Biden. I just said that this is your chance to prove you're not a hypocrite Argus. This allegation carries far more weight than the allegations against Kavanaugh which you took so seriously. 1) It's a more serious crime, 2) it wasn't unreported, 3) the victim knows the specific details about the location and the time, 4) there was direct job action taken against the victim after she filed her complaint 5) she has witnesses who are aware that she was talking about this crime for decades 6) she hasn't been caught lying with regard to this case. Honestly, if Dr Ford had reported the incident decades ago, and the assualt was as serious as this where Kavanaugh penetrated her with his fingers, and she was able to name the specific location, and the date, and she didn't name witnesses who never had a clue wtf she was talking about, and she wasn't caught lying about fake phobias and not knowing about the offer of a lie detector test where she lived, etc.... Kavanaugh woud definitely not be a SCJ right now. This is like an airtight case by comparison to Dr Ford's case. You should give a fork if you're not a total hypocrite.

A school has 300-2,000 people in a concentrated area, few of which will wash their hands twice in a 7 hr span. They're all inside where UV light can't help contain the virus, and they are constantly touching each other, getting sweaty running around, etc. It's THE best virus spreading ground on the planet aside from a crowded subway train/station. A 100+ sq km provincial park, out in the sun, where people literally never come in physical contact with each other, is not a risk, even at the height of a pandemic, as long as people wear masks. Opening a school before a park is the height of stupidity.

I just saw Horgan on the BC News talking about re-opening BC. The only thing he specifically mentioned today was schools. Hello dipshit. The parks are still closed. Would he seriously open the biggest virus-breeding institutions of the province first? IMO outdoor parks should open at least a month before schools.
