  1. I'm really sorry to hear about that.I hope she gets better soon. I have only heard anecdotal reports about young people being that sick with covid. I didn't know if it was real or BS. I don't even know anyone at all who's sick with it.
  2. You should see BC's updates. I wanna kill myself when Bonnie Henry speaks. She's like a stoned care bear.
  3. You don't watch CNN, but you see "Fox reporting on what CNN is reporting". How do you know what CNN is reporting if you don't watch. "I don't stalk my ex, but I do see her going into her house with the same guy a few times a day. And going to her gym. And her gyno. Her rear left tire has been low for 25 days now."
  4. You do follow their reporting, you just aren't aware of it. It finds it's way to you through NYT, WashPo, Vanity Fair, etc.
  5. No prob. Now show me some honest CNN reporting. Good luck.
  6. I don't need to dodge anything from you eyeball. I'll say that off the top of my head I can't think of anything Trump said that I would call a straight lie, and I don't need to search for it. I literally have zero interest. You're the accuser, the onus is on you. I gave you what should be an easy enough challenge. All you have to do is find an example of CNN doing honest and accurate reporting. He has been the President for 3 years. They have talked about him A LOT. As a lie, I'll cite CNN's coverage of Russian collusion, and the fact that one of their main talking heads was caught on camera over a year b4 CNN finally gave up on Russian collusion, admitting that it was just a big nothingburger. There's a solid 1 yr running lie after that point.
  7. So you understand that I've referenced a full 3 years of solid, non-stop lying from CNN, and you want me to try and think of something that Trump lied about. That's the difference. You can try and find a single story re: Trump that CNN reported on honestly and truthfully and accurately if you want. Good luck eyeball.
  8. You're the one who thinks he's evil incarnate. You're the one who needs to point something out.
  9. Cite? You can trust people who lie to you if you want, imo that's the real path to misery.
  10. Of course not. But take a look back at all the ridiculous accusations over the past 3 years, and how many were proven to be fake, and how much credit he ever got for his actual accomplishments. How is Trump generally talked about on CNN, on a scale from hideous monster (1) to America's saviour (10)? On CNN he's a -6. By contrast, Trudeau has several scandals which were all very real. How much media attention did they draw here? Is Trudeau generally cast in a favourable [glowing] light or is he deemed somewhat of a failure, liar, traitor and a creeper? How is Trudeau talked about by the media, where is he from 1-10? On CBC Trudeau is a 9.0, until it's time to criticize Scheer for not beating him. Left wing media is pure garbage. There's no good reason for tuning into CBC news, aside from comedy.
  11. Maybe just leaving everything shut down no matter what the cost to businesses and the economy is the best option for you. That doesn't actually make it the best option for the entire country. Covid is killing people who are very near death. The people who are spared death by covid if the economy goes into the tank get to live on and watch the lives of their children and grandchildren come unravelled. When/if I'm 80 I'll gladly take the risk of getting another covid to save my family from homelessness.
  12. I don't wanna be a dick about this, but imo calling someone a liar is a really big deal, and when you lie to malign another person's character then your credibility is entirely shot and I can't find a good reason to excuse anyone for doing that. I will never trust CNN, even if I wind up having good reason to believe that Fox's reputation is shot as well. I'm 100% done with CNN because i know for a fact that they lie. That's enough for me. I'm not a Christian, and forgiving people is against my nature, and idgaf what anyone else recommends. Actually, if I'm being honest, not forgiving people is like a core value of mine and I don't regret any of the bridges that I've burned with people over issues of trust. In fact I highly recommend nipping those relationships in the bud. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". I find Trump's actions as POTUS to be firmly in line with the constitution and with the best interests of America. Eg, I don't give a crap about a woman's "right" to abort a healthy baby after she is already dilated. I think it's totally heinous bullshit. That could have been me or you. I don't give a crap if people who really want to move to America have to wait in line. Rules are rules. Their ancestors could have done a better job of making their countries better, and they could stay where they are and work hard make it better if they want. My family worked in coal mines and fought Nazis in past generations. Nobody wanted to move from sunny Mexico to the bald prairies of Alberta when my family was homesteading there in places with a coal stove and no electric lights. This is getting OT now. I'll stop.
  13. I'm just saying that IMPACT is the proper font to display CNN's deceitful shrieking. Not that they use it. The OP's font doesn't set the tone incorrectly. It's the tone the MSM uses.
  14. The first example of Trump lying that every Lib will give you, when pressed, is: "Trump said that his inauguration was bigger!" Was that a lie? No. Not at all. He thought it was true, and he was wrong, and there's all the difference in the world between being wrong about something and lying about it. What about the use of "alternative facts" that day? Is that just another way to tell a lie? His team couldn't get an exact number of people who were at the inauguration so based their guess on transit ridership that day. It was wrong, but they at least had a reason for their incorrect guesstimate. They based their estimate on facts that turned out to give them the wrong impression. So what? It was about the number of people at the inauguration. It's not a big deal to be wrong about that. An example of being wrong about something that's a big deal is saying that Suleimani was a hero and a great guy. The only 2 actual lies re: that inauguration size topic were 1) saying that Trump lied when he was merely wrong, on a topic that was of no great importance whatsoever and 2) the media outlets who showed pictures of Trump's crowd, before the inauguration started, and compared them to Obama's crowd at max capacity. Another inauguration day lie he was accused of was when Trump said that "It didn't rain during my speech". John Oliver did a 15 minute video where he said that Trump was a huge liar, and he showed a picture of Melania holding an umbrella over Donald's head. Only thing is, that wasn't during the speech. It was just at a different time on the same day. You can see Trump's complete inauguration speech in HD on ABC and the absolute fact of the matter is that it did not rain while he was speaking. In short, there were 3 stone-cold lies about Trump's "lying" made just about his inauguration day alone and he didn't tell any of them. The left wing media were the culprits. They made that case on DAY 1 and then they used their own falsehoods as a baseline of proof that remains solidly entrenched in the minds of their sycophant horde to this day.
  15. It's fitting to convey the breathless histrionics on CNN and MSNBC. The proper font for CNN's apoplectic style is IMPACT 200, in red, for 8.5 x 11. If your eyes don't bulge when you're reading it then you're printing it wrong. A swastika watermark, for a subliminal panic effect, is highly recommended.
  16. For the people who say that Trump should have started social distancing and shut down the economy back in mid-February, when there were hardly any people in America with confirmed cases of Covid (there were 13 on Feb 15th), here's Nancy Pelosi on Feb 24th, showing Americans what her version of social distancing looks like. She made a big show of going around hugging people in SF's Chinatown, even though she's the Speaker of the House, and her guy is the Chair of the House Intel Committee, and is privy to all the same intelligence that Trump is. (At around the same time they were saying that Chinese restaurants in and around Vcr were down to about 10% of their normal business, and it was implied that racism was to blame. My guess is that if business was down by 90% then almost all of the Chinese-Canadians had stopped going there too but hey, speaking out against fake virtue-signallers is intensely evil so I'll just keep my dastardly white-male-privilege-opinion to myself on this topic. You never saw it here.) Business in Chinatown was already slumping at that time, as Americans were naturally becoming fearful of Covid from stories on the news, so Nancy tried to turn that trend back around and get folks back out there practicing the exact opposite of social distancing. In Nancy's defence, there were still only 15 Americans known to have Covid on that day. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/cases-in-us.html According to Reuters, the US started ramping down the economy in the 2nd week of March. There was 1 death in the US from Covid as of March 1st, and on March 10th there were only 937 Americans with confirmed cases of Covid. https://graphics.reuters.com/HEALTH-CORONAVIRUS/USA/qmypmkmwpra/ So less than 2 weeks after Nancy made a big show of how Americans should be walking around on crowded streets, hugging people, the economy was already grinding to a halt. Big bad Trump. Side note: Why didn't NYC have more ventilators? https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/491651-new-york-city-auctioned-off-extra-ventilators-due-to-cost-of-maintenance Honestly - CNN really sucks. WashPo sucks. NYT sucks. MSNBC sucks. Those people are not out there trying to find the truth and accurately convey it to the American people. That much is for absolute certain. People who get "news" from those channels/rags [Dem propagandists] need to re-think just how many years of their lives they want to spend getting sucked in during their brief time on earth. It has been over 3 years of non-stop BS since Trump got elected, and people have been pushing CNN's invective that whole time here. They've been caught lying over and over about major stories, they even got successfully sued by a teen-ager for defamation of character. If this isn't an all-time low for media in America then I'm completely disheartened and ready to give up on "news" entirely.
  17. Yep. Stanley park is still open, but bigger, more remote Parks like Pinecone Burke in Coquitlam and Flora Lake Trail out past Chilliwack are closed, with signs warning of large fines if you go in there. You could walk for 20 years in Flora Lake Trail during a pandemic and never get it. But hey, let's open the schools first. What could go wrong.
  18. If foreign relations with hostile governments are an actual issue then Trump will walk all over Biden in the next election because of their relative coziness with China. The Russian collusion angle was tried and investigated to the extreme and there was never a speck of evidence of collusion found. It's a zero out of ten. The China connection is there for Biden, undisputed, and it's of a magnitude that can't be explained away or ignored. While it's unanimously understood that Trump was THE TOUGHEST US President in history on China, Biden and his kid flew to China on AirForce2 and Hunter secured over $1,000,000,000.00 in business directly from the Communist Bank of China. It's bad luck for the Dems, because Joe already had the Demmie nomination locked up before China suddenly became America's official nemesis.
  19. I brought my kid into the hospital in Langley BC with a broken big toe when he was about 2 years old. We got in there at 5:30, we got an x-ray at 8:00 but didn't get into an examining room until 12:30, and we left the hospital after 1:30 am without seeing a Dr. I have never gone to a ER and not waited at least 3 hrs. I waited well over 4 hrs to get stitches on my mouth in New Westminster after taking a hockey stick. I really doubt there's an ER in the Surrey/Langley area with an average wait time of less than 3 hrs. During covid there's a lower wait time than normal because 1) people aren't out getting injured and 2) people are too scared to go to the hospital right now for things that they shouldn't be going to the hospital for anyways. I have a friend who has been an ambulance attendant since about 2005, he said he's having by far his least busy days ever during covid.
  20. Exactly. If Dr Ford was recording the cause of people's deaths would anyone believe what she marked down? If covid deaths make the POTUS look bad, there are doctors who would mark down covid all day. "Ooooh, the head is off. That's acute covid, the carrier was obviously from Europe." 7,700 people die every day in the US, covid peaked at 1,800 per day or something like that. There are roughly 1.1M doctors of medicine so statistically speaking there are 500,00 MDs with of the blue stripe. The chance that there aren't at least some deaths which are knowingly attributed to covid falsely is zero.
  21. I think that everyone knows what I said to be true, but some people will wait in the wings 'til this has all settled and say that "Trump did all the worst, most racist things" no matter what.
  22. You're setting a dangerous trend QM. I don't want to have to go back and delete 95% of my posts.
  23. The OP is an oversimplification, but to be completely honest, a lot of Democrats and their darker minions have been hoping for this kind of economic downturn because they think it will hurt Trump's chances for re-election. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2018/06/09/maher_im_hoping_for_a_crashing_economy_so_we_can_get_rid_of_trump_bring_on_the_recession.html Maher didn't just say it once or twice, it's like his mantra. He's not the only Dem supporter who is willing to throw massive numbers of Americans under the bus just to get some loser like Hillary or Joe "I promise to repay my massive debt to China" Biden elected. There are millions. I know that you will probably refuse to believe this because it's not coming from an oh-so-trustworty Liberal source, but there's going to be a large death toll associated with a massive economic downturn as well if the economy doesn't pick up again. The sad, prolonged deaths of these people don't happen overnight, unless they commit suicide, but in either event the cause of death isn't listed as "homelessness/depression caused by covid". It is. Mental illness is nothing to laugh at. In '08 we saw hundreds of thousands of Americans who were doing things right, that had lots of equity and savings, who lost their jobs and their homes and went on to live in tents. When this happens to 30 or 40 year olds they can pick up the pieces and start again, but for older people it's about as likely to happen as winning the lottery. It's basically a death sentence. People will die if the economy opens too soon, people will die if the economy opens too late, people won't be able to afford to have babies if they have no home or job so some people won't even get the chance to be born. There's no solution that doesn't involve death or horror. Trump is going to make a monumentally large decision now and you should be hoping that it works. It's time for us to all act like grown-ups. Root for our own team, which is everyone, and don't be a little partisan bitch like Pelosi or Maher.
  24. You saw what they wrote. You figure it out. Is Dec 31 “late last year”? Was ten seconds ago “earlier this year”? Is Rosie O’Donnell “over 92 lbs”? Sure. Just know when you’re getting bullshitted dude. Heads up - there are no left-handed screwdrivers.
