  1. They didn't know everything. China destroyed data and key people are just missing. No one knows everything or they're dead. Xi is the Chinese Hillary Clinton.
  2. CNN picks China over Trump too. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".
  3. What did officials in the WHO know? Hopefully nothing, or they're criminals.
  4. So pathetic that you're still acting like Trump did a worse job of managing the fight against Covid than Trudeau did. It makes at least some sense for Americans to say something stupid like this, because how useless Trudeau was really isn't of any significance to Americans. For a Canadian to say that Trump was one of the worst world leaders during covid is like an Italian saying that Australia didn't do enough to stop the Nazis.
  5. Dude there are far worse things than this to say about the Dems every day. I just don't have all day to talk about their idiocy. Did I even mention Joe Biden's latest on-screen dementia moment? Nope, his mental frailty is old news now. If Americans vote for Biden they're actually voting to put the VP on the mound, because Biden doesn't remember what a fastball is anymore. James Carville had an idiot meltdown, I never said boo. AOC is a doltism factory, I'm sure she said something that orders of magnitude worse this week. Check this golden oldy out: When was the last time you saw me write a single word about Pelosi in the last few months? I didn't even talk about her ice cream video, "relating to Americans who have room in their freezer for 13 different kinds of ice cream during covid". She blabs every day, nothing she ever says is smart. That idiot just held up the Cornavirus relief money for her own political gain. If withholding a second round of aid to Ukraine [when no one felt like Russia was actually going to attack anyways] was worthy of impeachment then what about withholding aid money from millions of Americans on the brink of actual financial disaster? I hold Dems to the same standard that Chris Rock holds "retarded" kids to when he plays basketball. You don't even bother with double-dribble. You just say something when they carry the ball like it's a football.
  6. Trudeau didn't even win a majority government if you only count Quebec. The Libs got 35 seats, BQ got 32, CPC got 10. The BQ just represent a bunch of bigots anyways, I'm sure that they feel like they can capitalize from the xenophobia of this issue plus Trudeau's weakness and failure here. It will be interesting to see what they have to say to the village idiot when he finally sets foot in Parliament. The NDP might feel like they have a shot at improving their status right now too, seeing as there isn't a leader of the CPC yet. If theres a quick election they probably feel like the CPC leader won't have a chance to really gain much traction. Enter the dragon: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/leslyn-lewis-pride-parade-1.5492123 CBC hates LL, so take their propaganda with a grain of salt. Also remember that when this interview was done, Trudeau was still hiding in his basement and he hadn't taken any action vs Covid at all yet, and he hadn't announced and financial aid pkgs yet.
  7. Trump doesn't need to distract anyone from his record of success as a POTUS. The US that he inherited had racial riots and looting arson for 3 full years with no end in sight. Islamic state was in the top 100 largest countries on earth and the outgoing POTUS said it would take 5 years to get rid of them. The rioting and extreme racial division is a distant memory now. Islamic state isn't a landholder anymore. There was record-low unemployment in the US before Covid started, and Trump was drastically ahead of the curve in dealing with Covid by comparison with our PM. I get that CNN acts like everything he does is a complete failure. They hate the way he drinks water. They called the covid travel ban racist. Then they said that he didn't act early enough. Those guys didn't even start talking about covid as headline news until long after he had already banned covid carriers from the country. They wouldn't say a word about how he should open the country, but as soon as he laid out his plan they said it was all wrong. CNN's record over the last 3 years was completely abysmal. They missed the whole FBI collusion story. They got caught lying their faces off about Russian collusion, Ukrainian quid pro quo, and Brett Kavanaugh. They were successfully sued by a high school kid for slander. Honest to fork, can you even imagine using a national TV network to punch down on a high school student, when you have to blatantly lie to do it? CNN hit an all-time low for TV News. They're the sleaziest, slimiest scumbags in the history of television. Anyone who can watch 20 minutes of CNN and not notice that they're liars and losers is just an irredeemable idiot.
  8. Chicken. Mmmmmmmmm...... Nandos. I actually like Mexican more than Chinese. Chipotle's Barbacoa is awesome. I make that stuff at home. I haven't been eating any takeout food aside from pizza since covid started though. I figger that if anything survives a pizza oven it will kill us all soon enough anyways.
  9. I'm not pretending to know the exact mortality rate. We can't possibly know it until we figure out how many people were infected. Deaths per TOTAL NUMBER OF INFECTED PEOPLE is the stat we need. Until we find out what people developed antibodoes for it we won't know hw many were actually infected. Deaths per confirmed cases is a misleading stat. Stop putting my name on your panties or I'll get another restraining order.
  10. I just ordered Chinese take-out. Thanks for the tip.
  11. https://www.foxnews.com That's your one-stop shop bro. You'll thank me later, when your lib friends start to regard you as a visionary due to your newfound ability to get things right.
  12. No. Military intelligence is often wrong, compromised, misleading, you can't always take decisive action on it. There probably would have been a nuclear war with Russia by now if everything was taken as gospel truth. People can't even come to an agreement on what the mortality rate is after the virus has been here for two months. There may be several x as many people infected as originally thought, putting the death rate down with the seasonal flu. Still don't know yet.
  13. China busted up the CIA within their country back in 2016/17. If you watched a more reliable news source you'd know that. They shot one CIA agent outside of a Chinese gov't building, they jailed some, some fled the country because they were exposed... entire spy networks were lost. US intel from China is massively "lacking", if you could really say that it's something that should be happening. On the other side of the coin America lets Chinese study at their best universities, there are even Chinese gov't institutions on campuses for them. It would be racist for America to ban them, but there's the serious threat of espionage to balance out. The Chinese gov't is hacking into everything and stealing secrets from everywhere and they're a real threat. That's why the WHO was so important at this time. Their job was to monitor and investigate but all they did was copy and paste Communist Party of China propaganda, which actively allowed the virus to break out.
  14. Yes, the US blocked travellers who had been to China in the past 14 days. I've typed that 100s of times and you caught me writing the shorthand version. Take a victory lap. There were 430,000 Chinese nationals who flew directly from China to the US between the start of the pandemic and the travel ban. China wasn't even allowing people from Wuhan into other parts of China when the US put that ban in place. It's pretty weird that they called it racist.
  15. You could be right, we'll never know. He took the heat for it though, at the start when it was panned as racist by the Dems/American MSM/the WHO/Trudeau, so now that people like Biden are lying and saying that they initially supported it he should get his share of credit too. Agreed. It's sad to see how many of our leaders are fumbling their way through this. A lot of blame should go to the WHO for literally giving all of the wrong advice at the start, but In Canada it's a disgrace that we don't have an actual medical professional closer to the top of the heap. Our graphics designer was way out of her depth, mismanaging an actual pandemic.
  16. He didn't quarantine travellers from China, he banned people from flying into the US if they had been to China within 14 days. I've typed that about 100x here now. This is old news. 2) Trump allowed Americans to come back to America and be quarantined. He didn't force them to stay in foreign countries and be unable to get medical help in their own country. Shocker. Trump forced non-Americans to wait out the 14 days elsewhere instead of allowing them to become America's problem. That makes sense too. Why should I be able to just leave the country I'm in and force America to take me if I'm carrying a pandemic - that's a completely absurd and idiotic notion. Having people quarantined here in Canada is so much safer for us because we need to bring the virus here to be truly safe from it? And only Canada, in 2020, knows how to quarantine sick people. Every other country would fail to recognize sick people or quarantine them. So brilliant lol. FYI Canada did not even screen passengers from foreign countries. I know people who wandered through YVR without answering any questions at all about their health. It was even on the local news here in BC. We only had voluntary self-quarantine for foreign travellers to Canada right up until March 16th. Returning Canadians are the only people who faced MANDATORY SELF-QUARANTINES and that was after the international travel bans came into effect. Canadians faced up to 6 months in prison and up to $1M in fines if they broke their mandatory quarantines. Like I said before, NYC has up to 11M people there if you include visitors. That's 1/3 of the population of Canada in 800 sq km. Stop making that comparison. It's utterly retarded. Saskatchewan is 650,000 sq km with only 1M people. Chinese and European tourists aren't stupid enough to go to Saskatchewan in January. I think WEM might be the reason for Alberta's high infection rate. Maybe the dorms and mall at U of A. Just a guess.
  17. Our gov't followed the WHO's marching orders to the letter. They're not going to admit that it was the wrong thing to do and the media will never follow up on it. This is a dead story in Canada.
  18. The poster child for the brainwashed CNN mob is talking, I better listen. I can learn about how Trump is known to have colluded with Russia despite the fact that there has never been any evidence of it, just evidence of the Dems/FBI lying to the FISA court and trying to entrap him. And how "Women who are caught lying and making extremely vague, uncorroborated allegations NEED TO BE BELIEVED!" And how Trump was such a lying idiot to say that he was being spied on, even though he actually was being spied on. And how he couldn't defeat islamic state [wrong]. And how blocking potential virus carriers from flying into the country is racist [now everyone is doing it]. And how walls are racist. Etc, etc. You're throwing around the term "brainwashed" lol. Next thing you know AOC will be calling people idiots.
  19. For your edification: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/types.html That's from the CDC. I'm not a virologist or epidemiologist. I don't know why they chose the name Covid for this one and left the other ones in the family with coronavirus, but KC sn't in left field for saying this isn't the first go-round with coronavirus. She just got the name wrong. If we hold Dems to the same standard this thread would be 1,000 pages long. AOC's thread would be 500 pages alone.
  20. Once we get testing to find out how many people were infected by coronavirus we'll have a better idea of how to treat it, compared to other flus. In 2019 there were 7,700 deaths/day in the US. In 2020 covid deaths per day peaked around 1,100. [There have been 38,000 covid deaths since the first US covid death on Feb 29th. That's 760/day.] Of the 760, or 1,100 that died due to covid each day, how many of those people would have died anyways? Has the avg number of deaths per day in the US been up by 1,100? We don't know, and a lot of people are making that exact assumption. Maybe the avg number of deaths/day is only up by 300 because hundreds of those people were going to die anyways. I don't know. I briefly looked and didn't find it. This is also happening during the world's first exposure to the virus. In subsequent outbreaks, our acquired herd immunity will slow the spread of the disease. Maybe we will have some treatment methods that are proven to be effective as well. I agree with the people whose fear of covid is diminishing, but I don't think that the science has shown that we should be congregating again yet.
  21. Everything you said there is wrong xul. 1) blocking flights from China obviously wasn't useless, that's nothing more than an idiotic partisan political attack with no basis in reality. The whole concept of quarantining people is based on the fact that keeping sick people where they are, and not letting them mingle in unaffected populations, is THE KEY FACTOR in slowing the spread of a virus. 2) The US didn't ban their own people from coming back to the US at any point, and yeah, being quarantined sucks but the CEO of 3M is just a person and a potential carrier. 3) Canada has less covid patients because NYC has 1/5th of our population living in 800 sk qm, and the population of BC crams into the NYC subway every day. The population of NYC actually gets as high as 11M sometimes, if you count visitors. That's almost 1/3rd of our population in EIGHT HUNDRED sq km instead of ELEVEN MILLION sq km. You're comparing The Big Apple to a blueberry. 4) We didn't have a massive outbreak because of our geography, not because of anything that we did right. Taiwan has a massive, dense population and they did things right. South Korea has a massive, dense population and they did things right. Canada didn't screen passengers, we allowed people to come here and voluntarily self-quarantine, and we got lucky. 5) the timing of spring break had a lot to do with infection rates, because Canadians mingling in international airports was a key factor in bringing the virus home. Quebec had their spring break before they started social distancing. BC's spring break came after the province was already shut down, and our densest city only has 700,000 people in it. Population density is a key factor in virus spread. I don't know why Alberta was disproportionately affected.
  22. You sound like a belligerent drunk Argus. Dems, the FBI and the MSM were the real colluders in the Russian collusion scandal.
  23. Canada's contribution to fighting covid thus far: Calling travel bans racist, calling masks counter-productive, covering the WHO's tracks, training Chinese virologists at their BSL4 labs. We're still exporting Dr's to the world, we just don't make them like Norm Bethune anymore.
