  1. You're the one who's scouring the newsrags and getting sucked in by their propaganda.
  2. I think that screening was proven to be somewhere between slightly effective and useless by the fact that asymptomatic covid carriers are contagious for 48 hrs or more. I think the most drastic changes coming on planet earth will be to the NYC subway system, and if they're not then someone isn't doing their job.
  3. It was just a couple days ago that the Chinese gov't increased their stated death toll in Wuhan upwards by 50%. Anecdotal reports say that it's still much higher, and I don't have any reason to believe the Chinese government more than I would believe a guy with a tinfoil hat and a wand. The 64 trillion dollar question is, how much covid is in Beijing and Shanghai, and if it really isn't there, then why isn't it? On April 20th we're still at the steep end of the learning curve (studies like Stanford's Santa Clara one will tell us a LOT) and people are trying to hang Trump for Feb 20th lol.
  4. You were using your rag as proof. I pointed out that what was in your rag didn't constitute proof of anything. And WHO officials got to go where? When? They got to go where the Chinese gov't said, after they had cleaned up. Then that's something that you need to post with your cite, isn't it? To your limited understanding it doesn't. Duly noted. The fact that you don't understand why Trump's travel ban was ineffective was quite predictable based on the fact that you didn't understand the ramifications of that last part, about knowing that the disease carriers were asymptomatic and the disease was communicable before symptoms were present. You see, most normal flus aren't contagious until after people develop symptoms. That's why countries figured that screening at the airport was also useful. It was a bit helpful, but it wasn't useful in the sense that, "if we catch the people with symptoms, and the people who develop symptoms all self-quarantine, we'll be fine." It didn't mean that at all. It means that 100% of the people on the plane could get the virus 1 hour before they got on the flight, they could all show zero symptoms upon landing, they could walk around for a few days and then all go home without ever showing any symptoms while they were in the US, and yet every single one of them would have been contagious while they were there. The whole screening process and voluntary self-quarantine process could be useful in slowing the spread, but it would be useless as a measure to stop the spread entirely. Trump's travel ban wasn't Swiss Cheese at all, Trump's travel ban was an example of closing the henhouse door after the fox was in the chicken coop. Of the 430,000 Chinese travellers that entered the US before his travel ban, a lot of people were infected but America didn't know it yet. If China, and the WHO, and US intel had been out in the open about the virus when it first broke out, travel bans against China would have been 100% effective, by definition, if the length of the ban was long enough. But the virus was spreading far faster and had spread far more widely than anyone knew on Jan 31. A study by Stanford University (https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/17/health/santa-clara-coronavirus-infections-study/index.html from your precious "News Source", CNN) found that possibly 85x as many people in Santa Clara were infected than was previously thought to be the case. The methodology of the study is being challenged now, but we know for certain that there are far more people infected than just the confirmed cases, and we know for sure that some people remain asymptomatic the whole time they're carrying the virus. No, it does not, at all eyeball. Nothing there says that the WHO was able to go where they want, get the info that they wanted, or that they had access to accurate data that was collected by the Chinese up to that point. It gives a date when they started getting bullshit from China, and when they were able to start asking questions, trying to get data, trying to get access, etc, etc. Remember, the Chinese covered stuff up and lied right from the beginning. People were jailed, some are missing, some "died of covid", data was destroyed..... You think that they just went 100% honest on Jan 31??????? A random MLW poster could let the cops check their car for drugs tomorrow. Maybe the drugs are gone. Maybe they are or were in their other car. Maybe the drugs are or were in their friend's car. Just because the police don't find drugs in the car that they were told to look in doesn't mean that they didn't have any drugs in their possession yesterday. What Trump said, in your quote, was 100% correct, and if the WHO had reason to believe that China was lying they should have said as much. You're showing signs of improvement.
  5. Because you asked me why I didn't respond to an article that's behind a paywall maybe? The Forbes article is titled: The WashPo article says: So on New Year's Eve this was reported to the WHO, and Forbes is saying that Trump was told "Late Last Year". Do you see any inaccuracy in reporting there? I'm not gonna give you the answer to this eyeball. You need to figure it out.
  6. I wouldn't bet a pinched nickel on "what Canadians know" right about now.
  7. I wanna believe you, but Americans did elect Pelosi, Schiff, AOC, Nadler, Hirono, Omar, Biden etc. If that's not bad enough, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote for the Presidency in 2016 based on an idiotic liberal platform, and communist dolt Bernie Sanders was the most popular candidate in the Dem Primary in 2016, and the 2nd most popular candidate there this time. Seems like America barely has their head above water right now.
  8. are you referring to this bit you quoted, which actually says nothing? Let me break it down for you: 1) So the WHO hadn't even been aware of this until it was almost a full month old. One month after this date, Trump initiated Plan A and blocked all passengers who had been to China within 14 days. Our PM still did nothing for another 45 days after that. The US did not withhold intel from Canada. Our PM just didn't do a single thing about any of it. 2) Where does this say that any American WHO officials had direct access to pertinent data or medical information which was deemed reliable? Where does it say that they had boots on the ground in Wuhan collecting their own data and information from whatever hospitals they wanted to go to or from the general public, or anything else which leads you to the conclusion that American officials, via their involvement in the WHO, actually had any worthwhile access to critical information? 3) Where does this say when American WHO officials became aware of the fact that some, if not all, infected humans are just carriers of the virus while they remain asymptomatic? 4) If Americans at the WHO "contributed substantially" to the bottom line of "There's no H2H transmission and blocking travellers from China is not necessary" then Trump is a genius for being ahead of the curve. Where's the part that's incriminating eyeball? Do you have the reading comprehension level of a Kindergarten student eyeball? What fucking part of this quote supports a title like "Trump Tells a Damnable and Murderous Lie"? Of all the stupid shit that I've ever seen on MLW this is the absolute worst. I honestly hope that this isn't the damning WashPo info that you're hanging your hat on or you're a total idiot.
  9. You honestly think I have a paid subscription to WashPo? I guess I should have told you that I don't own a bird. I can see their title about "Trump telling a murderous lie". That's it. And just remember, this is coming from the rag that got sued by a high school kid for defamation. What did the nasty, known-to-be-liars liberal rag say that got you in a tizzy eyeball?
  10. How would I know what officials at the WHO were doing while they weren't investigating or monitoring in China? What difference does it make? Tedros met with Xi, regurgitated his lies, and not much else was done by the WHO. That's why Americans were asking to get their scientists in there to "help", or investigate. And FYI, you still have a whole post to reply to. Instead you dodged, as usual.
  11. You're 100% wrong. What countries did to fight covid is the strongest indicator of what type of information they were reacting to. That's just childish and stupid. In order for the seemingly adult part of that statement to be a legitimate point, it would need to reference the info contained in the early warnings, and outline that America didn't actually follow the warnings. Your pattern of making wrongful accusations against Trump makes specific cites from you an absolute necessity. Schiff was privy to any info received from the intel community, why didn't he come out ahead of the pack and say that America needed to be doing something that they weren't? 430,000 people flew to China from the US after coronavirus broke out in China, but that's from before Jan 31 when Trump "shut it down". It is "shut down". Can you find me a cite that shows 430,000 people flew to the US from China since Jan 31? This is the second time you mentioned it.
  12. But you are a truther. We know what governments did to protect their citizens from covid, and what they didn't do, but you operate under your own "truth" that Trudeau did more than Trump. Canada, The US, and Taiwan are 3 little pigs. Canada didn't even build a straw house. We put up a tent. We basically did nothing at all, we didn't even screen passengers flying into the country, the government just asked travellers to self-quarantine if they were sick. The US built a house from sticks. They stopped travellers from bad areas, they screened at the airports, but the cat was already out of the bag on Jan 31. Taiwan exists right beside the source of multiple flu outbreaks which killed millions of people before 2020. They knew they needed a brick house. They built a brick house, and the doors were locked when they herd the first sneeze. Their flu preparedness cost them billions over the years, and it saved them 10x that much. The US actually acted on the advice of some reliable experts, be they from the intel community or medical community, because they enacted a Plan A (stop the virus before it gets into the country). Their plan A was just too late to be effective, and they fell back on plan B (social distancing and shelter in place to reduce the spread of a virus that's already in the country) too late. Canada never implemented a Plan A. That was a complete and total failure. What resembles a Plan A (shutting down incoming international travel) was actually implemented just as part of the Plan B strategy - closing airports at that time was no different from closing down schools - the fox was already in the henhouse for 2 months.
  13. I replied to jacee's comment about Trump. You could have told her to stay on topic. You could have stayed out of it. In stead you replied to me. So I replied to you. Trust me, I can stay on topic about Trudeau's stupidity all day.
  14. There are two separate stories re: Trump Argus: 1) Trump lacks class and he's a philanderer, and 2) Trump has been an effective leader in the states. Your other accusations against Trump are worthless and stupid. I can't say that Obama is as much of a philanderer as Trump, and I'll admit Obama's unwiped butt-hole has a classier demeanour than Donald Trump does on a good day, but I can say that Obama intentionally led the country in the wrong direction and that he made horribly divisive comments at the very worst of times. Trump has made far better moves for America as President. Who's better than Trump Argus? Hillary, who backed her husband's rapes and punched down on his victims? Biden, who used the government as a spade to mine gold in China and the Ukraine? Bernie the communist dolt? AOC, the dumbest person to ever win an election at any level? Idiotic, hypocritical liars Pelosi or Schumer? I've come to believe that the majority of people who are eager enough to spend their entire lives seeking power are usually a bit evil around the edges. Trump's brand of evil is crassness and hubris, but he is on America's side and he moves the goalposts ahead. Trudeau is the opposite of Trump in a lot of ways, but Trudeau is not advancing the goalposts at all.
  15. In summary, I made a couple of accurate points, you had no valid counter-points, so like a belligerent racist you jumped to the conclusion that I should should leave the country. That's a ridiculous answer, compounded by the fact that you're talking about the end of intelligent discussion. Step up to the plate with accurate verifiable facts when you reply, or just keep doing what you're doing, it makes no difference to me. I'm not going to jump on a bandwagon of stupid liars. The fact of the matter in this thread is that Trudeau did not do one single thing to protect Canada from Covid until March 16th. Book it. Learn it. Deal with it. Or at the very least, try to refute it. You'll be a hero to the leftist dolts if you can prove that our dear leader did a single, solitary thing Argus. Just one thing, in at the very least, 45 days, where there were lots of positive actions that he could have taken.
  16. This is an honest question: if I said something in that brief section you quoted that wasn’t 100% accurate then why don’t you point it out instead of replying with a non-sequitur? If someone said “Clouds are up in the sky, by definition. Grass grows on the ground.” and someone replied “Why don’t you move to Ulan Batur?” would that make f’n sense to you? Why doesn’t it dawn on you that the rioting is over? Suddenly the US is a place that you could visit safely and you say that it’s gotten worse by orders of magnitude. Can you explain that to me without CNN’s smelly words? Where did I ever say that I hate everything about Canada? Has Canada always been about stupidity and obeying blatantly false propaganda but I just noticed now? What do I hate about Canada aside from Trudeau and people dumb enough to love him and CNN?
  17. I’m not suggesting anything. I’m stating in no uncertain terms that the WHO certainly did go against Trump because after Trump banned travellers who had been to China in the past 14 days, Tedros made a public speech to the world that banning fliggts from China was wrong. You’re the one suggesting, and grasping at straws, in an attempt to incriminate someone who took positive action, while at the same time you’re blatantly ignoring the 100% negative actions of a person who should be of far greater concern to yourself. We had Canadians in the WHO. Did they come up with any useful advice for Canadians eyeball? If so, what was it? You act like you know something that no one else on earth has any evidence of, and it all points to Trump being wrong. Why did Trump do the right things despite the bad advice of the WHO? Why did tge WHO make a point of saying that was really bad? Why did out government do every single stupid thing that the WHO said? Why do Canadians give Canada’s leader a glowing review for being 100% wrong at every stage of the game up to March 16th, and give America’s leader a big racist X for doing non-racist things that are proven by science and common sense to be effective and correct? Are Canadians just stupid enough to parrot CNN no matter how idiotic their accusations are, despite the fact that everyone on earth knows CNN has no relationship with accuracy or integrity? Is CBC’s Liberal propaganda really powerful enough to lead Canadians around by the nose, against all logic and reason? What would it take to get these bumfuzzled Canadians to actually consider the things we all know for certain, and think for themselves, instead of letting known liars tell us what to think?
  18. It's just more general stupidity from the same people who said that Kavanaugh was a rapist, Trump colluded with Russia, 17 significant errors and omissions is no big deal, Biden's kid doing $1B in business with the Communist Bank of China and getting his kid $3M from the Ukraine is no big deal, etc, etc. But you know that Trudeau is guilty of the same things as Trump, he's just more guilty because he did far less. This makes more sense in the Trudeau failure thread, it's just not worthy of being in that one either. Yeah. The WHO got no useful info from China, they went against the POTUS, and they gave the entire world the worst advice possible. That's well-established.
  19. WTF are you still going on about Trump for? Trudeau got the same intel as Trump. The US was sharing their intelligence with us. Trudeau did nothing. At all. The WHO did lie. To the world. Without question. Their official statements were all contrary to the truth and to conventional medical wisdom.
