  1. The image below should give you the answer. Was it called the point of diminishing returns or was it called simply rotting? You had a country with a small population and seemingly endless natural resources. Then you start increasing the population at an alarming rate while resources are disappearing at an even more alarming rate. Forestry - most old growth now gone, climate, soil stability , rivers and ability of the land to recover all f-d up. Oil and Gas - those MF-s are still trying to say they are going strong but the Planet and the few reasonable heads tell them otherwise. Manufacturing - It has not been a strong side, or am I wrong? Any examples? Real Estate - a scam tied to immigration
  2. Climate has not always been the same and is changing, hence human caused "climate change". "Popular destinations" is a more suitable term for cities with tourists in mind. Check what minimum wage was in lets say 2000 and what you could buy with it in terms of accommodation and food and then compare it to the minimum wage today and the price of same accommodation and products. You may find out you are now 50% or more poorer than in 2000 living on same minimum wage.
  3. There is no "globe". There are countries that have political views of Canada and then residents of those countries, who based on whatever info they have, will form one kind of opinion or another. Most countries have their own s*t to deal with. Some are in deeper s*t than us. So how do you measure anything with a broken gauge? You can't and for this reason you shouldn't care.
  4. Who is "we" ? The Canadians ? What Canadians, which Canadians, who is a Canadian? It is not "we". It is the politicians who import people (like cattle) to satisfy the perceived demands of the industry. Demands? - to increase consumption and offer cheap labor. So cheap that those who work, can't even have a roof over their head. Here is a question for you and WestCanMan. At lunchtime I see three guys headed to Tim Hortons - one wearing a yellow head dress, one wearing a red head dress and the third wearing a blue one. Which one is a Canaidan? a) the one with the yellow head dress b) the one with the blue head dress c) the one with the red head dress d) all of the above e) none of the above f) the ones with the proper paperwork g) the ones who speak English h) the ones who know where they are i) once they have a cup of Tim Hortons double double, they are all Canadians!
  5. I am really confused with your standards. So if you can find a cheap hotel (which I am sure was not cheap based on international prices, but otherwise felt cheap and crappy, because this is what you get in Canada for about $200/night) , and a cheap meal (again $16 is not cheap by international standards and this for a decent meal, while you got some sort of a small burger, fries from a frozen pack and a can of pop or TH cup of coffee)..this means the country is great ??? !!!!! Wow! I am left speechless
  6. 1. Funny. Every politician will come across as racist to you, particularly Trudeau for constantly apologizing to the natives. Those on the radio did not sound like Natives to me; politicians, maybe? 2. If that was the case it was going to be depicted in their artwork but so far I have seen no evidence in it that backs up your claim 3. It is possible one of them stole a razor while the white man stole the land from under his feet and then killed him. 4. I have not heard that. There should have been little movement of people from South to North. The main movement was from East to West. 5. You must be suggesting that the "highway of tears" was a highway where the first nation men liked to ambush and kill their underage or young women and children? No evidence of that. 6. A little further which way? We had residential schools for them till the 80's or maybe even the early 90's
  7. Guess what, I'm driving back from work at lunchtime and on the radio they were talking exactly about what the "settlers" did to the Indians / First Nations. This is exactly the terminology they used "the Settlers" who came from Europe and started to occupy and mostly steal the lands of the natives. And I'm thinking, yeah, this CanadianFox is such a big b-sh-iter. But CanadianFox is not a known capacity on history. The history has been written and it is what it is. Same with your South American plague. We all know how many Irish died in the Maritimes as they arrived sick and they passed the disease on to the natives.
  8. Who would be twisting the history to portray a lie as the truth? Somebody who is calling himself the Fox of course. It is well known that First Nations went down in numbers due to the plague brought to North America by the settlers as well as the settlers killing them like animals. And who are you to say that their lives sucked and that now their lives are better? Is your life better slaving for life to pay rent and put food on the table with zero freedom to go anywhere or do anything else, as you have no money or opportunities? Get real.
  9. Not really denying history, but yes , this is about what I wanted to say. This is the truth.
  10. Naah, I don't buy into this refugee BS! If one is a refugee they should go to a neighboring country and stay there till they can return to their homeland, not go to the opposite side of the globe! When they do what they do, clearly their idea is not to return home. A normal country should stop the flow of refugees immediately. And of course this is no normal country.
  11. Sorry kiddo, that is a deliberate misinterpretation of the true meaning. The term "settlers" has a meaning of itself and we know who it refers to.
  12. Now take a look at your own government's website and explanation: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/discover-canada/read-online/canadas-history.html The term "settlement" is only used in combination with English, French, European and never with Indian or indigenous. Mr. Senior Air Bubble you are.
  13. Start then calling the First Nations "settlers" and see where this takes you, air head.😉
  14. I have never been a refugee. So a war starts in your country, caused by your countrymen and possibly you and this should give you the automatic right to travel to any country in the world at their expense, with or without proper documentation and screening? Oh my God ! These will be some very high expectations! But it is not them who sneak into the country. Canada brings them in, deliberately with a particular agenda that may have very little to do with their well being.
  15. Of course I did not have them in mind, thus using the term "settlers" which should have provided ample clarification.
  16. There you go! You need to use version 1612. 1611 is outdated and therefore not valid.🤣
  17. ?? There are simply people on the move. Some move for economical reasons others have their own reasons. The first ones that came were invaders (the term settlers is used as it is more pleasing to the public) Once a country is formed, the country has zero obligations to let others inside. In fact this would be detrimental to its integrity and culture. But then there is the multiculturalism BS (practiced by capitalist nations) which serves a particular agenda to bring fresh slaves into the country and increase the population base.
  18. So the housing crisis is not caused by too many immigrants, too few units built, but too many immigrants of the wrong kind. Hilarious! Never seen a bigger s*t disturber than you and your pseudo Bible on this board.
  19. What pension was that? Don't you just get CPP and OAS and you start getting these when you are 65+ ? Or you had a pension fund through your employer - mutual fund investments kind of thing?
  20. Even if they do not come under the skilled class, Canada will still continue bringing the hundreds of thousands of new residents under the refugee class or as students. Our politicians know only one thing - increase thepopulation to increase demand and keep wages low, till 99.9% are living a slave's standard of life.
  21. Looking at all your attempts to reply, it is not my mommy, but yours that has a lot of explaining to do. But I wouldn't need it; I know the explanation.
  22. Could be, but those Indians keep coming and you will find them in the most impossible and obscure places across Canada. If the type of work they do is way below them, why do they come and stay? They have established a huge community now in all places. We have a mini-India in Canada and it is a bigger country compared to the mini-China in Canada.
  23. I've heard the "red tape" argument before and somehow still don't believe it. If there is a job, there shoulld be someone doing it. Apparently Canada always had lots of low end - dead end jobs and not as many well paying jobs for people with skills as it has pretended to have. Good luck in Hong Kong. I personally, after 22 years here feel royally screwed.
