I hope that this defenseless young girl and many more like her can get the hell out of the hell hole and find a safe refuse in Canada and US. The way that the West abandoned these people and fed them to the wolves was totally unacceptable. Someone should open up fundraising for Afghan female refugees, just a suggestion.

What is that you oppose to the specific post above that you quoted. Are you saying that pandemic is not getting worse in the coming fall and winter or are you saying that we should have another round of lockdowns or you just wish to oppose to anything that I say? This is the only type of democracy that exists. Candidates present their platform and we elect them based on our like and dislike and the one getting most of the votes will form the government and hopefully implement promises made during campaign. We respect our women and girls and our constitution guarantees their equal rights and freedom. In fact our Charter guarantees everyone's rights and freedom. We don't force anyone what to eat or not to eat what to drink or not to drink, what to wear or not to wear, we don't lash people for disobedience and we don't impose our values upon others by force of invasion or sword. And what is my type of democracy? And who the hell is we? Are you a Taliban spoke person? Or lashing people and forcing them to grow beard or complete and total religious dictatorship is your type of democracy?

Yes It will be especially hard for the women and girls in Afghanistan under the rule of these monkeys and it is heart breaking. Same happened in Iran in 1979. The women and girls of Iran enjoyed equality and freedom for half a century under progressive Pahlavi dynasty and suddenly another group of monkeys took over, and again because the West abandoned their ally and made a deal with the devil for a transition from monarchy to islamic state. Those monkeys in Iran however are significantly more evolved than the Taliban monkeys and that was because Iran society was more more advance than Afghanistan today.. They allowed women ang girls to go to school, universities, work places assuming high positions like doctors and engineers even wear heavy makeups and tight dress however, they forced some kind of hijab to cover their hair contrary to what they promised before takeover and banned skirts and imposed a few other islamic laws like allowing child (under 18) marriage. Maybe in time Taliban monkeys would evolve into semi-humans. Too much to hope I hope not.

Maybe these girls can be given immigration papers fast and leave legally. I believe the all-girls robotic team are in Herat. It is a city near Iranian border far from Kabul. Not sure if it makes it easier or harder for Canadian intelligence or military still there to save them. There must be much more than a few Canadian personnel on the ground in Afghanistan otherwise how they can get 20,000 interpreters out as the plan is right now?. They can do the same with these girls. You have some good points up there. I just don't see O'Toole as Prime Minister of Canada. Not sure why but he just doesn't look like one. I also believe Trudeau should have waited for May of next year to call an election. He rushed and mislead by all polls putting him ahead by wide margin.

Provincial politics don't usually reflect Federal politics. The east coast has been Federally Liberal for a long time and will stay that way.

Unlike neighboring islamic countries, Afghanistan has a large portion of fanatical extremist muslims. Democracy and fanatical islam are at odds. You can't establish and maintain a democracy in such society. Remember how islam was spread? By force of military invasion from Arabia, by sword. And this is a historic fact.

I am usually not in favor of bringing large number of refugees from third world countries to Canada but this is an exception. The extreme Islamic group considered by many as terrorists who hate women and girls and wishes to suppress their rights as equal human beings has invaded Afghanistan and overthrew the democratically elected government in the country by force of guns and machine guns. Canada must do its part to help the women and girls of Afghanistan by allowing them to settle in Canada starting with those who can contribute positively to the future of Canada.
