Yes I do. If all fully vaccinated we would have had 350 plus 67 less infections just for today's 510 infections and likely most of the 97 infections among fully vaccinated, they got that from unvaccinated people too. Yes largely but not fully protected.

The reason is because 19% of eligible population have refused vaccination and 10% still hesitant on getting their second shot.. They are 350 out of 510 reported infections (another 67 among partially vaccinated) and main source of transmission to fully vaccinated people If all fully vaccinated we would have had under 100 or maybe even under 10 new infections (considering the unvaccinated are the main source of transmission) and full opening coming soon but now we will have increasing infections and closures thanks to the choice that the unvaccinated people made. We need to get 90% of population vaccinated to end pandemic for Delta variant.

Infection rate among unvaccinated people is 10 times higher than fully vaccinated people or the infection rate among fully vaccinated people is 10% of unvaccinated people. GET THE VACCINE NOW. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. If you don't care about others who can't get the vaccines at least care about yourself and your family you come in contact with.

For God's sake use the arithmetic before making such conclusions. 72% are fully vaccinated, 19% not vaccinated and this will leave only 9% who are partially vaccinated which means number of unvaccinated people is more than twice the partially vaccinated and more importantly it makes the number of fully vaccinated people 8 times higher than partially vaccinated people, so hospital numbers are accordingly to the number of people in each category 10 million fully vaccinated and 97 infection among them, 3.5 million unvaccinated people so 350 infections among them, 1.5 million partially vaccinated people so 67 infections among them. It is estimated that 80% of people over 12 have got the vaccine in Canada and after Pfizer approval for those under 12, some 80% of population will be vaccinated so those arguing against vaccines from safety point of view indicating safety concerns as a conspiracy theory in effect are saying some money grabbing people risk killing 80% of population in order to get rich and governments, politicians, doctors, experts all in it with them.

No. based on all available data released nationally and internationally it suggests that the vaccinated have a significant lower risk of infection, sever infection and lower viral shedding. You seem to undermine the effectiveness of vaccines to some extend but still not as bad as a few others who try to totally discredit vaccines by a campaign of misinformation.

Do you understand data. I just provided data released today proving the effectiveness of vaccines. Over 400 out of over 500 new infections were among the tiny minority unvaccinated. 110 out of 111 people in ICU are among the tiny minority unvaccinated. When you faced with solid proof that vaccines are effective then you chose another twisted way of discrediting vaccines by claiming that Canada is a dictatorship and our governments suppress or falsify data. Stop it. You put doubts in people's minds and cause vaccine hesitancy and deaths by false statements, All doctors and experts are encouraging vaccinations as well as governments and politicians. Vaccines are effective. If you argue against all the scientific data (a few reflected in my previous posts) that majority of infections are now among the 18% unvaccinated and overwhelming majority of hospitalizations and deaths too then you only discredit yourself. Today's statistics- 408 of 578 new infections are among the minority 18% unvaccinated, Only one of ICU patients out of 111 in Ontario is fully vaccinated.

Yes before we had categories like Federal politics (threads related were under this category), provincial politics (threads related say to Ontario were under this category), Local politics (threads related to say Toronto were under this category), International politics ........ but now there are no categories anymore and all the threads are in one place mixed up so it is very hard to locate a specific thread.

For the second day in a row Ontario reports more than 500 new cases. For the second day in a row, Ontario is reporting more than 500 new cases of COVID-19 and most of the infections were found in unvaccinated individuals. Of the 510 cases confirmed, 368 are in unvaccinated people and 57 are in partially vaccinated individuals, Health Minister Christine Elliott said in a tweet. Right now, there are 123 people are in hospital with COVID-19, nine of which are fully vaccinated. The remaining 114 patients are either not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status, according to Elliott.

Available data suggests 1.5 million Canadians are tested positive for covid since the beginning. This is about 4% of population. Herd immunity is achieved when immunity reaches 70% but in spite of the fact that 70% of our population is vaccinated we are far from herd immunity because once more the number of new infections is increasing exponentially. With all these considering vaccine efficacy is estimated at 80% (or equivalent to 70x80 or 56% infection rate) then infection rate from the disease should be under 14%. Based on all these the most likely real infection rate is between 4 to 14%. Everything is estimate there is no solid number i can provide you with. No one can. We have to go with available data and best estimations.

Yes I think there is an equal chance for a majority or minority Liberal government to be re-elected. No way Conservatives to come to power.

About 5 to 10% of individuals are infected and of those the majority are infected with earlier original virus which means their antibodies are likely ineffective against different variants which are mutated from original one. Far cry from majority.
