Sometimes we have to make unpopular choices for collective good of community as a whole based on the best of available data. So far the results have been very good. At this rate of infection last year we had about 10 death every day in Ontario (up to 100 deaths sometimes at the peak). The vaccines have prevented deaths among vaccinated people and I am not aware of anyone claiming cancer from vaccine.

The long term effects of covid vaccines are unknowns that is because scientists could not wait 10 years to measure the long term effects of vaccines after 10 years because in the first year alone some estimated 5 million people died from covid. So the decision was to go ahead with tests on selected tens of thousands of people over several months in order to save millions of lives. I do concede that they may be many thousands likely tens of thousands who may pay heavy price in the long term after vaccination. So the choice was, either 50 million deaths (and many millions more who get the virus will have life lasting effects like damaged organs) or tens of thousands of vaccine sufferers in long term. I chose the less of the two evils like most of the experts and scientists did and that is vaccination.

Even a non-expert like me knows this. They try the vaccine on a limited number of children in that category and observe them over a certain period of time usually several months for any adverse reactions or safety concerns and if no or little reactions reported without serious illness then they will approve it for that category or group.

You don't know the meaning of democracy but keep using it. Democracy means that we freely elect a group of people to govern us. That is the elected governments make decisions on our behalf rather than each individual citizen demanding his or her desire. The democratically elected people will consult the experts in the field to make the best of decisions for the good of entire population. At this time those experts are advising the governments to keep some sort of restrictions and governments are acting on those advice. This is democracy at work.

Another solid indicator that vaccines are effective. Yesterday and today over a thousand new Covid infections in Ontario but NO NEW DEATHS in two days. Maybe the province can give the 3 million Ontarians another two weeks to get the vaccine and should lift all restrictions as of September.

We are talking about 6 million adults in Canada. Not small minority. Also I do know vaccines provide ample protection however, I am not sure the risk of sever illness and death for vaccinated people as is low as flu. I have no statistic for comparison. I do agree we should not impose any more restrictions or future lockdowns as the choice was made and 6 million decided not to take vaccines and i don't wish to pay the price for that.

Another lie. I never said anything about kids being vaccinated. I have been encouraging eligible people (those over 12) to be vaccinated. The vaccines are currently under investigation if they are safe or not for those under 12 so nobody even suggested that.
