Just to clarify 2015 in my name is the year I joined this forum as I have mentioned many times and it has nothing to do with citizenship. I am myself analyzing data and scientific evidence and reach my own conclusion. And I listen to those who are well known researchers in the field (as I am myself a researcher in a different field so I know a thing or two about data and publications) May be so if since unvaccinated are infected at a greater rate then the risk of passing the virus by unvaccinated people is equally greater.

Data for the past few weeks also indicate they reduce the risk of infections but even if not you admitted that vaccines reduce the risk of hospitalizations and ICUs in other words for vaccinated people it becomes more like a flu and THAT ALONE IS GREAT and most important to have the vaccines in as many as possible to prevent overwhelming our health care so that cancer and heart patients can also receive care.

Data you (Winston) presented for covid in ICU is a snapshot not the entire ICU numbers in a full year therefore you can't compare apple and oranges.

This is extraordinary situation that may happen once in a century. No one is forced to vaccinate however, if they choose not to vaccinate then certain places are off limits to them in order to protect others. This is not against anyone's liberty and will save many lives and hence i support it.

You are not the only one in this country, I am in this country too and I know how it works. We democratically elect a government for a certain period of time to make decisions on our behalf and good of majority. If they made mistake we do not re-elect them and kick them out. People have the right to protest decisions made by the government peacefully but they have no right to block hospitals and attack or insult hard working life saving Health care workers. There is a clause that if anyone can prove medical reason that person will not be forced to vaccinate, however 6 million eligible Canadians have refused to vaccinate most without any medical reason and as a result thousands of people are catching the disease every day and many are dying. Governments always have had authority over our lives, Every day we have to obey hundreds of laws mandated by our Parliamentary system. That is why in a democracy we elect governments to make the tough decisions on our behalf otherwise if each citizen obey what they like and disobey what they don't like then it would be chaos and disorderly. There are some laws that I don't like either but I have to obey because our elected representatives have mandated them. This is the essence of democracy not a tyranny as some anti-vaxers trying to misrepresent or dictatorship. The elected governments mandated vaccine passports and like other laws all citizens have to obey.

Protest all you want but we the pro-vaxers making the overwhelming majority are winning the battles and the war. So we are still in the summer weeks away from the fall and new infection cases rising to near 1000 every day in Ontario alone mostly among unvaccinated people but vaccinated ones are being the victims too sacrificed by the selfishness of a small minority. That said we are winning as time passes elected governments introducing vaccine passports at both Federal and provincial levels and making the life difficult for unvaccinated people. Protest all you want (Yeah by blocking patients' access to care or insulting/assaulting health care workers) but you are losing the battles and the war and that is the truth as more people every day are getting their shots as they realize they cannot continue with their lives and jobs as unvaccinated thanks to our democratically elected governments (even Conservative Ontario) mandating the will of overwhelming majority of the nation.

This is PER DAY. Multiply the risk by 180 and you get the risk till March or 700 you get the next 2 years when they expect it to end if this low vaccination continues (under 85% of population).

No, it is data manipulations. gross allegations, rumors and intentional confusing statements by some anti-vaxers who have no argument to present against an ocean of data and evidence that vaccines are effective in reducing the risk of infections and hospitalizations and deaths. They knowingly or unknowingly are causing people's death by their campaign of misinformation against the vaccines or staging uncivilized somewhat violent protests (like protests outside the hospitals where sick people are recovering or resting or blocking the sick people from their appointments). Data is PER DAY per person. You need to calculate the risk for a long period of time. And today's data shows Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott says 628 cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 179 are in those who are fully immunized. Since there are about 10 million fully vaccinated people on the same token the risk for vaccinated individual is 0.00179% compare to 0.012390105% which is 7.5 times higher risk. See your own calculation method PROVED my point stated earlier to which you disagreed.
