Do we agree? Term & Age Limits in Congress?
OftenWrong replied to Rebound's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You haven't heard a lot of things, apparently. Far be it for me to educate a so-called American about his country's president. But, here you go little fella.- https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2021/01/20/biden-executive-order-overturns-trump-diversity-training-ban/4236891001/ “In the weeks ahead, I will be reaffirming the federal government’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and accessibility, building on the work we started in the Obama-Biden administration. That’s why I’m rescinding the previous administration’s harmful ban on diversity and sensitivity training,” Biden said in remarks delivered Tuesday. “Unity and healing must begin with understanding and truth, not ignorance and lies.” The stated objective of Donald Trump's executive order issued in late September was "to combat offensive and anti-American race and sex stereotyping and SCAPEGIOTING." Yeah scapegoating... we saw what happened to a principal in Toronto when he was scape-goated to death for simply speaking out on a relatively minor issue. THAT is what you people are bringing to the dialogue. -

So your saying, you approve of Biden promoting CRT but not Trump when he ditched it for federal workers. "Because Trunp" ? -
@Michael Hardner, just funnin ya, moderator-boy.

I can still see the warning points given me by MH. One was for "image trolling", whatever that is. I posted a picture and he doesn't like the use of images, so he invented that word. The other was for my use of the phrase "these brown people are fools". He was offended by that. "You cannot call all brown people fools." Every time I see those points they remind me to say, thanks god, he is no longer moderator.

But Biden is the Senile one. . .

Yeah that's what I thought, he's having a stroke. Oh well. Boges is simply displaying his liberal contempt for the elderly (IE ageism) once again. -

He ain't the president. -
That has always been the case. What I indicated is the problem was made even worse by irresponsible comments and actions which mainly left-leaning officials piled on. Even here in Canada, where we now have reports of much higher understaffing. It's not so much an extra burden on the taxpayer if they cannot fill the roster.

The family doctor was not involved in these decisions and the drug was distributed by government directly to pharmacies. Your doctor never even received a brochure. And now we're finding out that the conspiracists were right, whom you people poo-pooed whenever they raised the question. There were people who rightfully required a medical exemption, but all we heard from Trudeau and the establishment was denials and screaming, screaming. Don't expect me to believe them.

It depends on the will of religious parents. My kids are already grown up. What I've seen of muslims and sikhs, they have their own leadership and don't depend purely on government to make their own accommodations. This will bolster their need for another seperate system. Which is allowed, as long as it meets the academic cirriculum. Question is will it be eligable for government funding if they don't allow/ promote the gender disphoria being taught in the public systems now. That is what they are teaching, imo. They are making kids more confused. Answer is probably NO. The government already demands that employers who want to tap into funding for part-time students who work during the off-season need to be onboard with the so-called inclusivity. (Really a form of exclusivity. But with government, what else should we expect).

I have no explanation for how that came about. Blame Soros. But my hunch is that most parents and religious leaders would oppose the separate school boards stance. Although "celebrating pride" does not necessarily mean bringing in drag queens to reading hour, or offering hardcore gay porn in the library. If the separate board intends to follow the public one, it raises the demand for another separate school system. Those who are religious will seek an alternative from state-sanctioned porn being taught in the public.

You may have been telling the truth there. You have got that sarcastic tone again, like your doing it on purpose. Double-whammy... ==== Ain't it funny how no one will fess up to being a Trudeau supporter, yet the man was re-elected.

Then allow me to put it more eloquently, "The government has no business in the bedrooms of Canadians." Trudeau senior's quote has a wider meaning than for just gay marriage, which he may have been referring to at the time. Today there are people, Canadians, who want to raise their kids according to their own cultural beliefs. Many immigrants and new Canadians are devout religious types. They want to protect their six-year-olds from being exposed to adult content while they are so young. The conflict between liberal "progressives" and multiculturalism now rears its ugly head. The best position is for the government to be disarmed and they must remain neutral. They provide the framework and the laws, services, run the economy. There needs to be sharp borders where government authority and /or influence is cut off. Censor the government.
